There food was fine enough but the service was awful. We debated leaving before the main course and when the food finally arrived it was lukewarm at best. Waited a half hour to be seated when the table they sat us at was empty the whole time. Would not recommend sadly.
Dinner was sooooo good. I want to go back. The food and service was great.
Ran out of moussaka and the waiter gave up after the first order.
Mezze is a must when in baltimore. The staff is fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everyone makes us feel so at home! There are plenty of delicious well prepared vegan and gluten free options too!
They forgot that I placed the reservation as an anniversary. Kind of ruined the night.
Our server, John, was such a sweetheart! Would come back just for him. So attentive and friendly.
We got the tasting menu for three and it was a.lot. of food. Perhaps not everyone would agree-we prefer smaller portions in general.
Sangria was quite good.
Some dishes were fantastic, and others were just okay. Mashed potatoes were amazing, as was the lamb they came with. Greek salad was great, crab cake was great. Lamb chops were overcooked and the shrimp was eh.
Sitting outside is fun, and inside is quite pretty. Overall, fun Fells Point place-been a couple times and will go back. Service is always perfect.
Best place to take a group of people in the city! Great food!
Food was absolutely delicious. The owner stopped and talked to a number of guests
We had a reservation, but the man who met us at the door (owner? manager?) simply told us to sit anywhere and then abandoned us. He was busy talking on the phone, and we sat at a table on the first floor across from the bar and waited, and waited, and waited. No one else was dining there, no one brought us menus, water or even acknowledged our presence. All the while the man carried on a conversation on his phone. Finally, we noticed people dining upstairs; since it was our first time, we didn't realize that. It was a whole different story upstairs!
We had a wonderful waiter, there were other people dining and we had a delicious meal. Great vegetarian options and plenty of food options for omnivores too. Not sure why it wasn't more crowded, particularly on a Saturday night, but if the "greeter" downstairs is an indicator, perhaps that has something to do with it?
We love Mezze. The food is amazing and we always have great service and a wonderful time.
Our family shared many small plates . Each was prepared to perfection. Our favorites were the pear and goat cheese salad, octopus salad, and roasted egg plant...each a perfect blend of flavors and textures.
Always great food, drink and service, one of my go-to places in town !
Mousaka was very greasy rather bland. Zucchini cakes were clumps of dough with very little shredded zucchini . I have a much better recipe that I make. Hummus tasteless. Rather a disappointing dining experience.
Very dissapointed, Very Loud. Did not know about up stairs until I went to the Ladies room.
Should of dinner up stairs.
Fantastic as always! The restaurant week menu is the best value I’ve seen! Everything was soooo good and fresh.
My partner and I went for Restaurant Week and really enjoyed ourselves. The food and service was outstanding. Kudos to our server who names escapes me right now. She was VERY personable and attentive! We will be back!
The food was outstanding. I had the tasting meal which gave a nice variety of food to try. The beef over mashed potatoes melted in your mouth.
Loved restaurant week menu. Everything was delicious.
It was retraunt week but it was not busy there. Table we sat at was empty when we got there, and it took 15 mins to put us there. Nobody in line. Food was okay, not great and service was really slow.. 2 hrs for a set menu? Have not been there in a long time and only remembered good things but not on this trip
We were at Mezze for restaurant week on Tuesday evening of the big. RaY mini hurricane that arrived unannounced! The Mezze staff was calm, and polite as wind and torrential rain blew through the city.
Food was delish, although my husband had to leave early because his office building was flooding. 😬
Overall solid meal. Quality was good and a reasonable price. Given the other more expensive options in the area, Mezze is a good alternative.
The food is top notch—has been for years. We had a few small
plates,and they were all excellent.Good wine,also
We were there late, right before the kitchen closed. They were very accommodating and the food was still delicious. Our server was kind and attentive.
Delicious as always! I also tried the Ginger Margarita on the cocktail menu- highly recommend!
We love the freshly made dishes here . Excellent food and consistent . This is my fourth time here . Every time I’ve visited Baltimore I’ve gone to this spot.
It was my second time there, and my coworker’s first. We both were overly impressed by all aspects!
Food was delicious, but customer service was awful. Brought us the wrong drinks, then copped an attitude when corrected. Almost dropped a hot plate on our guests, and never checked on us. We had to go get the check. Food was yummy, but very small portions.
Worse service I ever had. Wrong beverages, late service and after one hour the server came back saying that they have run out of the dishes we ordered. Terrible!
This place offers everything a true admirer of high quality food and service would want. Great location with outdoor dining where you can feel the pulse and energy of the city.
The food starts fresh, prepared meticulously and with love are on show with multiple layers of flavors that explode in your mouth. The eggplant dish is a perfect example. Highly recommend this place!!!
Came for dinner for a bachelorette party and a night out in Fells Point. Beautiful atmosphere and outstanding service. Our group of 7 each ordered 3 items each expecting small plates but felt the portion size was generous. We had more than enough food and could have gone with 2 plates each and had no room for dessert although they sounded delicious! Definitely will need to come back again!
We love taking family and friends to Mezze, because there is something for everyone. It's a beautiful restaurant, and the staff is courteous. Our staff person could have done a better job coming to the table more often, but the food was at the perfect temperature when it arrived, and impeccably prepared. Another waiter on the floor pulled off dirty plates each time he walked by, and filled our water glasses (We wanted to give him the tip actually). Some of the dishes seem a bit pricey for small plates, but in general, everything was delicious and we had a great time!
Amazing! The tasting menu is the best of what Mezze has to offer.
Food was excellent as always. Was in the upstairs back room, which is very loud. Took my daughters for the first time, and they could not stop raving about the lamb chops for one; and the mushrooms for my other one, who is a vegetarian. Will definitely be back with the family.
Great venue. Owner and all staff at personable and make for a great and easy evening
Very good restaurant. Service was a bit slow but overall a fine experience. it was our first visit and we hope to return.
Food was great service a bit slow
Excellent food, nice ambience. Very mediocre service, but I’ll give them a pass since this was a very busy weekend with graduations and the Preakness. First time there and would go back, but if service is the same next time then that would be the last time.
This location was chosen as a last minute replacement for a reservation that was cancelled by another venue. It was to entertain a potential new hire for our organization. The food was just Meh and the service about the same...the only positive impression the guest left the restaurant with was the charm of Fells Point. Most likely will not use this restaurant again for business related dinners.
Great food but the service on a Friday night is absolutely abysmal. They absolutely need to get more wait staff here. We had to wait almost 10 mins before anyone even brought us water. Drinks took incredibly long and so did the food. Also they have crammed so many tables in there that the noise is extremely annoying. I would recommend this place for the food but would advise everyone to avoid going on a Friday or Saturday night.
