Gorgeous food in comfy surroundings. It was a Tuesday night and there weren’t many people there, hence 4 stars for ambience. But we were tucked away in the “library” room. Lovely food, great service and good value. What’s not to like?

Outstanding food as always, the Gambas in particular. We got the best seat in the house in the window which was amazing. Fabulous service and we had the pleasure of meeting Luna who looked after us all evening. We both left feeling privileged to have net a star of the future. If you haven't been to Dar you must go and try as many plates as possible and if you have been you must go back and remind yourself of just how good this place really is.

Very attentive service. Dar is a small tapas style bar/mini restaurant. It is very small - so you can hear your neighbours, but I imagine on a bustling evening could be quite atmospheric. We had multiple dishes and while all were good, some, like the potatoes bravas, were a little over fussy and only 5 individual little ‘rolls’ on a plate. Personally prefer a big hearty gooey bowl. We didn’t order a main however. Nice menu of light nibbles. Extensive cocktail list. a sweet spot for drinks and light tapas with friends.

Food was very nice , 4 plates between 2 of us was enough. Service a little disappointing, we had to continually beckon the girls over , they didn't approach us once to see if we needed anything which was disappointing. Nice little restaurant & nice decor

Overpriced, focused more on presentation than the food. Whilst the food was good, for the price it certainly didn't blow our socks off! We ordered a 'selection' of cheeses but they presented one cheese - they didn't charge us once we complained at least. Service was friendly but slow and took half an hour before getting served.

Food was shocking and over priced. Lack of any flavour in the dishes. The dip was old and you could see had been sitting out for ages as had a film over the top. Restaurant was empty on a Saturday night and I am not surprised. Would never return to this restaurant.

We absolutely love coming here - one of our staples in the area. The tapas is absolutely divine and the wine and cocktail selection are fantastic. The dining area is beautiful, too, and the staff are very accommodating.

We had a fabulous evening here. The food and service were excellent. The manager Jonas was charming, entertaining and perfectly attentive, giving us some super recommendations for the most delicious dishes. We will be back very soon.

Lovely family dinner with our 15 year old son. There is something on this “tapas with a twist” menu for everyone. Cosy atmosphere. We had 7 plates between the 3 of us which was perfect. The Lebanese wines by the glass are pretty good, but there is a fine selection of wines by the bottle as well. Well worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere to eat for dinner while visiting Hampton Court.

Generally nice food. Some items better than others, partially due to personal taste. Service is a little brusque and would benefit from advising guests to order in stages to avoid over ordering. There’s something about the environment that isn’t quite right which detracts from the experience. It’s hard to say if it’s because of location in the restaurant, decor or lack of other diners in the same area.

Our first visit to Mezzat Dar the restaurant is small which is part of its charm. Great food served on small dishes as expected for tapas style food. Presented well and tasted even better. Great wine too. Loved it. Will be returning.

Our waitress was very charming top marks for her! However, her manager’s approach was the polar opposite - he abruptly told us we had only a 2 hours which upset one of our party - we were not told about this on booking! We ordered 8 courses - 4 came and we then waited it must have been nearly an hour before the 2nd 4 dishes leading us to being there more than 2 hours. Food was delicious, waitress was fab - shame manager’s attitude put a dampener on things.
