The meal started off well. There just weren't enough staff on the floor helping out the one waiter who was juggling at leat 8 tables with larger families. The ambience was slightly disrupted due to a rude family sat near by who were abnoxious and demanding when they could see the waiter was doing his best.

I love Mia’s but when I visited yesterday I took a friend for the first time and was a bit disappointed with the food. He had carbonara which looked a bit dry and the pancetta was soft and fatty. I have my usual of Vitello saltimbocca which was so salty I couldn’t eat much! The service was very personable but they were very short staffed so the service wasn’t as good as other visits. I will still go to Mia’s as this visit hasn’t put me off.

I don't think I've ever taken the time to write a review on a restaurant before but I love Mia Morningside. The food is excellent and moderately priced. The staff are efficient but very pleasant and the atmosphere is vibrant. We will definitely be back soon!

Online booking a mess. X2 now they haven’t had my booking. Luckily they found me a table. Booked from 6:30 but order not taken until 7. Food as usual delicious. Felt very rushed and pushed out. Not very pleasant!

This was my first visit to Mia at Morningside, although we have been to the Dalry restaurant on a number of occasions and it has always been lovely. The Morningside restaurant did not disappoint. We shared a very generous portion of Prosciutto el Bufala between two of us - both the ham and the cheese were delicious. We then had a Chicken with mushroom sauce, and the ravioli special - which was wonderful - prawn and scallop filled ravioli with extra prawns and scallops on top, in a delicious light sauce. Service was excellent! Looking forward to my next visit already :)

Have been to this restaurant a few times and always been pleased with the quality of food until last night. Veal was overcooked and very small portion and my seabream in wine and mushroom sauce was more like seabream soup! Toilets have been decorated....wallpaper is quirky but draws your attention to the dirty skirtingboards/door. Overall our experience was okay but I don't think we will be back anytime soon.

This was our first visit to the Morningside Mia's. Our table was booked for 7.30, but initially they had some confusion over the booking, but I had confirmation. Eventually 15 min later, a table was available. The waiter took a drinks order , but after 20 minutes I had to ask for our food order to be taken. The food was very good, no complaints. There were 5 adults+2 children in our party, and a service charge of £20+ was added to the bill. I normally would leave a tip, but in this occasion I didn't. As I felt the service initially was very poor.
