Invited my family.
Food was great and the service also amazing as always.
Definitely coming back again soon.
Thank you for the perfect foods and service.
We had the tasting menu for my daughter’s birthday celebration. The menu was amazing, the food was beautifully prepared and presented and the staff and service were amazing. We even got to meet Michael at the end of the meal! We will definitely be returning - as my daughter said if this is what birthdays are like she would like one every day!
Service is excellent, food terrific.
Express menu before the Roundhouse. Fantastic service, great food and good value
Truly superb and child friendly. Fine dining with young children is really only possible here. Can’t recommend it enough.
The service was average, the food was OK
The manager was appallingly rude; one of the worst I’ve experienced. Absolutely shocking for any restaurant, never mind one priced toward the upper end at of the market.
I can see why the restaurant was barely half full. Avoid.
Went for a dinner (around 2000) on a Thursday night (June 27th) with my girlfriend. Only had starters and mains but the whole ordeal took us more than 2 hours. We had to wait very very long for everything (getting menus, someone to take our orders, for wine & food to arrive etc.). Even when we were paying (the restaurant was more or less empty by then) it took staff solid 10-15 minutes to show up with a card terminal. To me it's an indication of either gross incompetence or structural under-staffing (kitchen, waiters, bar etc.)
On a positive note, the food was really good but I cannot rate a place any more highly if it doesn't get simple service tablestakes right. A number of tables around us had the same issues (e.g. wine only arriving when people were already done w. their mains!). Not sure I'm coming back anytime soon
P.s. what also strikes me as surprising is the amount of effort the place puts into one-day-only menus (e.g. Cinco de Mayo, July 4th etc.). They always seems to be working on something special. However, I wonder if a higher priority should be getting the basics right first...
Average quality food and bad service. The waiter was annoyed from the very beginning and remainined slow and unpleasant for the reminder of the evening.
Highly recommend the six course menu. We done it twice, it's superb
Excellent food and wine. Best roast dinner I’ve had in years! Kids food was fantastic too.
Another lovely lunch, as usual, a great experience, food light but packed full of flavour, service friendly and efficient. Go treat yourself for lunch on a weekday for a surprisingly affordable quality experience.
This is my favourite restaurant, everything is just perfect, from the moment you step inside, you are made to feel welcome. The food is presented beautifully, and the taste and quality is second to none. Always a pleasure to dine here.
Great food, great service.....would definitely recommend!
The dessert course was incredible. Don't miss the treacle tart. Wow. Service from Giancarlo was also fabulous. Will be back again!
Great cocktails and lovely food even if the service is a little slow and eccentric.
In a party of four eating three courses every dish was a success. Exemplary service. Pricey but not inappropriate for the performance delivered. Ordinary location but not claustrophobic.
Ordered tasting menu with wines, first time we got warm food and had to wait 5 minutes for wines. With deserts, wines were forgotten completely. One wrong dish also served. Food was ok, but as a tasting menu not really worth it - you are better off buying just one main course but 580 euro 6 course tasting dinner with matching wines for four persons, neither the service, nor the quality of the food lives at least up to our expectations.
Fantastic service and great food . We will book again
5 people at £100 per head for the tasting menu. Absolutely disgusting, chewy scallops !! Not worth the money and will not return after many years of annually taking our client there.
Absolutely wonderful night! The staff was kind and generous and the ambiance was incredibly romantic. My boyfriend and I had a lovely time and are so thrilled that this location has become our special spot :)
Amazing food and attention to detail
Exceptional service too
Great staff including meeting Mr Nadra himself lovely person
Just a fabulous restaurant. Fantastic service and great food.
Bland food no flavour
No ambience place was a ghost town
Very fine food and a friendly atmosphere. Menu should suit all tastes.
Great food and service, very much enjoyed our evening with Michael and the team.
We visited on a Saturday afternoon for the bottomless cocktails, they were great!
The food was lovely and great value for the deal.
The service was fantastic! Thanks for a great afternoon.
Perfect place for a date, really warm and friendly service, it was a really beautiful building which was classy without being pretentious.
The gentleman that served us drinks was a proper host, felt very welcome. Great experience, little pricy for what you got though.
Highly recommended for the food, but noise is a problem. There'll be no such thing as a quiet dinner conversation.
Meal on Sunday evening. A fantastic bargain for high class food and service.
It was very good. We live locally but haven’t been to the restaurant for a while. We enjoyed the evening.
Unlike many of London's ubiquitous modern European restaurants, Michael Nadra's menu is refreshingly distinctive in both variety and taste.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food + service was very warm and welcoming.
Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys great food in a nice setting - you'll feel you've had an evening out without any pretence or stuffiness :)
Restaurant fairly empty so lacked atmosphere .
Incredible food and cocktails with excellent service.
This is a great place to go, great food, great service, and nice place.
The restaurant is set in the lovely location. With not many people there it feels quiet and relaxing which I like. The service was good either, can't complain.
However, I found the menu choice to be very limited and the food simply bland. My main dish (seabass) was lacking flavour and didn't stand up to the price. The dessert was good but again nothing special. I found the restaurant to be very overpriced for the food quality and ambience they offer.
Valentine’s Day. Set menu had some terrific highs, but also some disappointing lows. The tuna sashimi was exceptional. The beef carpaccio also extremely well prepared, a real treat. But the welsh lamb was a disappointment. The meat was thinly sliced and tender but it had very little flavour. It was served with a fried cylinder that reminded me of cheap buffets. Fortunately, the passion fruit tart was very good and prepared to the perfect consistency. But I was left with an unpleasant burnt aftertaste which I am sure the chef had not intended. So all in all, this was sub par for a restaurant with a Michelin star.
As ever, we had an excellent meal. Since it was Valentine's Day there was a 4 course taster menu, proceeded by a glass of champagne. Each course was better than the next - beautifully presented and wonderful and interesting food!
Went for Valentine’s Day menu. Ambience and service were both very good. Unfortunately food wasn’t great. Really disappointed with lamb main - wasn’t seasoned at all. Maybe because it was Valentine’s Day.
The cooking is done by someone who knows what they are doing
Waiter charming but would not serve outside this is the punters choice not because it causes inconvenience to the staff
The delicious food would be helped by a fixed price lunch menu or bigger portions or both
It was divine. The chef was really carefully with all my allergies and made me a bespoke menu.
It was exceptional.
