food is mixed, starter was excellent, main ok. service mixed, some friendly others not. maybe would be better for wine lovers, we are tee total
Excellent food and service. Bit cold in the dining room ! Very nice experience though , and highly recommended
Food was fantastic. The background music was a little loud for our liking and it felt a bit chilly in the conservatory.
Arrived early to have cocktails at the bar. Always perfect and the attention to detail is apparent. We all felt very welcome due to the restaurant manager and his team. Sad to hear he is leaving. We ordered our meals and of course the staff were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I always have a great experience here. Excellent wine pairing by the waiter and all the meals were spot on. The flavour, balance and matching of the sides seemed harmonic. I keep recommending this restaurant and of course will keep coming back. May I add, the manager gave me a hug good bye. Great guy! I will miss him.
We’ll be back on Saturday!
Thank you so much for all delicious food, Champagne and Fabulous Michael Nadra experience.
We enjoyed a lovely birthday lunch (4 friends), and had some great choices from the Express lunch menu. A delicious bottle of house white accompanied the meal which was excellent.
The food was truly magnificent and the service excellent.
The restaurant have done well with the design of the space available, however the narrowness of each area does result in a slight lack of ambience.
The staff is always warm friendly and professional and the food and wine are very good! We were seated downstairs in the basement this time though and it felt a little like a cave which wasn’t that pleasant. Last time we were seated upstairs outside which was fabulous!!! Overall a very nice dining experience.
We decided to celebrate our wedding ceremony with a small group of family and friends there. Firstly because of the fine food, presentation, elegance and flavour. Secondly for the great atmosphere of the place, and it didn’t disappoint us. They gave us privacy, and the staff was amazing, as you expect it from a place like this, however you don’t always get it in some places!
Really outstanding, thank you so much for helping us to have a great time and enjoy company and food.
Great food and service. Free sorbet was given to all because of a slight delay in dessert
Never disappoints, great food and wine pairings. Lovely patio perfect for Saturday or Sunday lunch.
I went to Micheal Nardra for a romantic date. After the waiter seated us we received warm bread and butter. I shared a scallop starter with my partner. The dish was quite small but excellent. I had the asian-inspired sea bass and my guest the lamb with stuffed aubergines. It the starter seemed a bit small the mains portions were quite generous. The bass was cooked perfectly, the asian herbs complementing the fish well without overpowering it. The lamb was also coked perfectly, all the sides and sauces creating a harmonious earthy main.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch on the outside terrace of Michael Nadra. Although we only ordered starters, we enjoyed our light lunch and will come again soon.
Lovely food, really friendly and relaxed service. Multiple dining areas from Al fresco dinning to intimate former tunnel. Great wines and cocktails too. Added bonus, awesome background music from our former DJ host.
Really lovely food !! Had a great time with my family, had the tasting menu which was delicious at every course
Was a great experience, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Pleasant attentive waiter. Great ambience. The food was great too and a nice little hidden location. She was impressed anyway lol
We LOVED this restaurant. Food was excellent as was the service and the drinks. Outdoor dining was lovely. We will be back!
It was our first visit to this restaurant and we were surprisingly pleased with the location, food and service. We tried the two tasting menus and they were all beautifully presented with a lovely taste. We will go back there again.
The testing menu was excellent and the service very friendly and helpful
Great experience with the 1 Michelin Star restaurant.
Our recent visit was very disappointing. We were kept waiting for at least 10 minutes as there was no one at the entrance desk. The service was very slow and unenthusiastic. We were given the drinks menu and then had to wait at least half an hour for someone to come and take our drinks order. The waiter asked if we would like more bread, we said we would but then never received any! Every request seemed like too much bother for the staff. The restaurant was not even busy!
We had relatives visiting from USA and quite frankly we were very disappointed and embarrassed.
We have been a couple times over the last 6 months and repeatedly we have had a lovely experience. The food is delicious and innovative without being radical for the sake of being radical. The chef discovers what makes sense beyond what is simply obvious. The service also really stands out. Friendly without being too familiar and incredibly gracious. Genuine service with a smile and a touch of sense of humour which makes it a joy to interact with the team. Since the location is not on a beaten path (unless a stroll along the canal between Primrose Hill and Camden is your norm)...it does need to be well known to succeed in the long term and I would gladly share my recommendation to anyone as I would like it to stay. Thank you for a wonderful evening out once again.
Great food. Great service which is rare in London and will continue to go back. When the server hand stuffs Olives with blue cheese for your martini you’ve found a great spot!
A wonderful evening with my husband. Great food, great service, great location. Thoroughly recommend.
A truly wonderful meal. Ambiance is outstanding, the food delightful and the service friendly and attentive. One of my best dining experiences all year
The staff in the place are exceptional- warm, friendly and very accommodating. The food has been mixed.
Had a fab time. We usually just pop in for a drink but had a date night. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious.
We have already arranged a date to go back with friends.
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch the staff were fun and friendly and super relaxed I will be most definitely coming here again
Invited my family.
Food was great and the service also amazing as always.
Definitely coming back again soon.
Thank you for the perfect foods and service.
We had the tasting menu for my daughter’s birthday celebration. The menu was amazing, the food was beautifully prepared and presented and the staff and service were amazing. We even got to meet Michael at the end of the meal! We will definitely be returning - as my daughter said if this is what birthdays are like she would like one every day!
Service is excellent, food terrific.
Express menu before the Roundhouse. Fantastic service, great food and good value
Just poor really. I went for the 4th July BBQ 'special', and boy was it special: the BBQing was done in the kitchen, the burgers (admittedly cheap at around £8) were incredibly thin and, well, a bit Birds Eye. The rest of the BBQ platter was no better. Then, they had no chilled rose - on one of the hottest days of the summer and on July 4, so we had to wait an hour for one to chill in the freezer. The service was an absolute joke, but to be fair to the guy he made up for it with a winning personality. All in all, avoid like the plague. Been to the one on Chiswick too, not much better.
It's a shame as I like to support local restaurants, but that's eating out I guess.
Truly superb and child friendly. Fine dining with young children is really only possible here. Can’t recommend it enough.
The service was average, the food was OK
The manager was appallingly rude; one of the worst I’ve experienced. Absolutely shocking for any restaurant, never mind one priced toward the upper end at of the market.
I can see why the restaurant was barely half full. Avoid.
Went for a dinner (around 2000) on a Thursday night (June 27th) with my girlfriend. Only had starters and mains but the whole ordeal took us more than 2 hours. We had to wait very very long for everything (getting menus, someone to take our orders, for wine & food to arrive etc.). Even when we were paying (the restaurant was more or less empty by then) it took staff solid 10-15 minutes to show up with a card terminal. To me it's an indication of either gross incompetence or structural under-staffing (kitchen, waiters, bar etc.)
On a positive note, the food was really good but I cannot rate a place any more highly if it doesn't get simple service tablestakes right. A number of tables around us had the same issues (e.g. wine only arriving when people were already done w. their mains!). Not sure I'm coming back anytime soon
P.s. what also strikes me as surprising is the amount of effort the place puts into one-day-only menus (e.g. Cinco de Mayo, July 4th etc.). They always seems to be working on something special. However, I wonder if a higher priority should be getting the basics right first...
Average quality food and bad service. The waiter was annoyed from the very beginning and remainined slow and unpleasant for the reminder of the evening.
Highly recommend the six course menu. We done it twice, it's superb
Excellent food and wine. Best roast dinner I’ve had in years! Kids food was fantastic too.
Another lovely lunch, as usual, a great experience, food light but packed full of flavour, service friendly and efficient. Go treat yourself for lunch on a weekday for a surprisingly affordable quality experience.
