你好, welcome to the Mandarin!

Established in 1961, this traditional and authentic Cantonese restaurant in Blackpool town centre has been extending a warm oriental welcome to customers for 55 years!

Choose from a mouth-watering selection of delicious dishes including Mrs Wan’s dumplings, made from her own recipe, Szechuan chilli beef, Nasi Goreng and oriental fruit salad with lychee. We are very proud that every dish and every sauce is made in house, because we care about our food.

The belief that every meal shared should be special is why this restaurant takes time to carefully select and prepare the freshest Chinese dishes, adding just three extra ingredients - quality, experience and time.

Our core belief is that we are a local restaurant, open year round for local residents and visitors to the resort alike. We"ve worked for many years with our local suppliers to continue to bring you the best experience of Chinese food in Blackpool.

We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Mandarin. From the moment we stepped in, we were impressed by the authentic decor that transported us straight to the heart of China. The attention to detail in the design added to the warm and inviting ambiance, making it a perfect setting for our meal. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent suggestions based on our tastes. His recommendations were spot on, and his friendly demeanor made us feel well taken care of throughout the entire meal. As for the food, it was simply exceptional—hands down the best Chinese cuisine we've ever had. Every dish was bursting with flavor, fresh ingredients, and was beautifully presented. Each bite left us wanting more. T The service, food, and atmosphere all came together to create an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend Mandarin to anyone looking for top-notch Chinese food with outstanding service in an authentic setting.

Booking online easy. Staff friendly, efficient and professional. Food delicious, we weren’t rushed, it was very busy. Just felt it was expensive, average £25 per person for main meals only. Plus £3.90 for a bowl of prawn crackers and dipping oils we felt a little dear. Soft drinks a bit pricey. We did appreciate it’s restaurant quality rather than takeaway. Our first visit.

Fantastic meal and service. The birthday cake and song for my wife’s birthday was a lovely touch and made her day! Thank you.

Mmm we arrived at the alloted time and we're shown to our seats upstairs, ever table upstairs and down was filled. Across from us a 30th celebration was happing. My friend is gluten free so he had a revised menu, he started with the shredded duck but instead of the pancakes he had lettuce leaves, cucumber and spring onions. Then for main he had seafood chow mein with vermicelli noodles. I on the other hand had pork dim sum parcels then chicken curry with egg fried rice. We got a bottle of wine to share, whilst being decided on what to have we had prawn crackers with dips. All in all the food was superb, the service sounds to none and the decor authentically Chinese from the silk wallpaper to the ornaments and wooden cabinets. A waiter chatted to us after the meal and couldn't help us enough. This is the first time at The Mandarin and it won't be our last ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
