Pineapple Express
Tropical fruit salad hop aromas burst from the glass, followed by a luscious sweet malt flavor on the tongue. An outrageous quantity of hops was used in this ale, predominantly of the Liberty variety. Dry hopped with Citra. No pineapples were harmed during the production of this beer. And yes, it is that strong. Style: Double IPA; Alcohol by Volume: 8.70%; Color: pale; Flavor: hop, and more hop, citrus, floral; Aroma: floral - 8.8% abv

Jazz Hands IPA Imperial / Double New England
Go big or go home. Our most extravagant IPA to date. Copious amounts of Galaxy, Citra and Lotus hops laid over a big smooth malt background. Passionfruit, mango and citrus flavors dominate with note of pine and a slight vanilla character. Big, smooth and bursting with hop flavor and aroma. We can't help but use our hands talking about it.

Great restaurant with a wide variety of food to choose from. Excellent beer and good drinks too! Would highly recommend for couples, families, friends.....
Always great, but servers don’t know much about the beer
First time at this location and we were absolutely pleased with everything. Great food and absolutely fantastic service
Staff is fantastic. Drinks on point. Friendly place.
The hostess was short and not very friendly. We were seated out in the patio and I asked if we could have an indoor table. There were several available. She said, “no those were all reserved” and walked away. We had reservations too and there was no where to select indoor versus outdoor. We like the restaurant because of the atmosphere and sitting outside there is no atmosphere. Very disappointed. However, the food tasted great, and the waiter was fantastic!
Excellent experience out in the patio. Well heated—did not need a coat on a very cold night. Our server was great—noticed the music was a bit loud and asked us if we wanted it turned down. Beer selection was solid—I enjoyed a Can I Kick It New England IPA and a Pineapple Express DIPA, both on draft (some selections are only available in cans). We did not have food. Had not been there in a while—very pleased.
Great food, great beer, very good service.........
Mickey Finn's has the best beer on tap in Libertyville. And, the bartenders make excellent mixed drinks. This is why we go here. The food is OK. We had pizza which is not the best in town but the beer is.
Given these difficult times, a certain latitude is expected, however, once this is "over", Mickey Finn's needs to get its act together. Food was awful! Gumbo was cold, gluey and the shrimp and chicken were non existent. The burgers were dry, buns were hard and it looked like they just put a slice of cold Velveta on top. Our server was very nice. We tipped well. We didn't complain so it wasn't his issue. Also, were made a reservation and requested inside seating. We were were placed on a freezing porch area. When we asked to be moved because we had children who were cold, we were given attitude. I will try this restaurant again but not for a long, long time. As for recommending them, I'd wait awhile.
Ate inside for lunch. Chicken quesadilla was really good. Friendly staff. Quick service
For an Irish pub, the Shepherd's Pie was awful! More like soup covered in mashed potatoes with hardly any meat. The door kept being left open to the cold patio - not totally their fault due to the ridiculous Covid restrictions, but could have been more vigilant about closing it behind them. Most importantly, our friend took a sip of his drink only to find something crunchy on the rim that he thought was from the lime - but it was glass because the rim was cracked! NOT a good experience, and even though they tried to make up for it by giving us a $25 gift card - I probably will not use it.
we sat outside under the covered patio with the fire pit going and the snow falling; very nice atmosphere and pretty good menu
Hostess needed training- very young with poor communication skills. Kept disappearing without letting us know what she was doing.
Had outdoor reservations but needed to wait for seating to be dried from an earlier rain and heat lamps to be turned on. Was promised a table heat lamp but it to 3 reminders to get it.
Food took a long time to get to the table and was not very good.
Waiters and bus boys were very nice and attentive with making sure that we stayed warm and had everything we needed
Brilliant sat by the open windows, so we were safe a legal. Wonderful service, delicious pizza, and great beer. It was just like living in a free country where you can make your own decisions.
Everything was great!
We really like Mickey Finns, however with that said on Sunday evening on the patio
we had a server that ignored to the point we had to look for her to get our check. We
are frequent customers and we have one other time we had bad service usually we
have great service. Sunday was a disappointment
Great food and Value just hope you don't get stuck with the one waitress that barely comes around
Good food & variety of beers. Covid protocols for sure in place. Well worth going!
Mickey Finns is a fun place to go with friends and family!
There to watch football so having noise was expected. With current limitations and weather we chose inside small corner table vs outside.
Mickey Finns always delivers a good meal with good atmosphere. The outdoor dining is perfect during this COVID period.
The service was outstanding and the menu and food was excellent. We frequently go to
Mickey and recommend it to friends and family
Great restaurant! Extensive menu.
We had a very nice lunch at Mickey's. The beef eggrolls were a thumbs up and the rib sandwich was very tasty (careful of small bones). The service was great. Lydmila was our server and she did a very nice job of keeping us happy.
It was a great place to catch up with a friend. GREAT social distance and cleanliness!
