We are 75+ year old home converted to an elevated restaurant + bar featuring smoked meats, steaks, seafood, killer salads, and a variety of sides. Our food is paired with a robust specialty cocktail menu, twelve craft beers on tap, 30+ whiskeys, and a full wine list.

Our bar & lounge area is very unique, while seating in what used to be the living room is quaint. Our deck behind the house under the oak trees & string lights is comfortable and our new gazebo outfitted with lounging furniture and a fire place is cozy.

We are proudly locally owned and have a great staff culture - we'd love for you to dine with us!

I always love my experience there!! Megan was our bartender she was simply Amazing I greatly appreciate it…Thank you for the wonderful experience..loved my charcuterie board!!

Food was outstanding! Everything we ate was delicious! The bbq nacho fries-wow! Probably my favorite thing. The burnt ends and the short ribs were great too! Highly recommend!

Disappointing menu. Not much selection. Ran out of brisket at 7 pm on a Friday night. Expensive.

The staff were extremely nice and accommodating, while still being genuine. It’s really appealing that the business appears to be inside a house and not another typical business model. The atmosphere was relaxing. I enjoyed the chicken and brisket, their personal midcity (brown bottle) bbq sauce was the best available sauce. The root beer and Carolina was ok, but nothing special.

We were sat at a table and nobody acknowledged us for 15 minutes. So we left. People all around us were being served but we were ignored. It was very disappointing.

The burnt end BLT’s and shrimp and grits were awesome! The steaks were cooked on too hot a grill and burnt outside. One was so charcoaled, it was sent back. The other two were good other than the exterior charcoling.

Service was slow, seemed to be shorthanded, Did not get water serviced to table until asked. Waitress was nice, but seemed overwhelmed. It felt by the staff that they had not had any African American dined at their restaurant before. The staff seemed awkward waiting on myself and my husband. Will not be recommending this place to my family or friends,

Hi there - thanks for your visit. Just to clarify a couple of things, it is not our standard practice to bring water to each & every table, but clearly that was your expectation, you asked, and our server delivered. More importantly, to insinuate that we don't know how to take care of African Americans is frankly insulting. We have a ton of African American customers, many regulars, and our owner's son is an adopted African American. I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience, but your blaming it on race is grossly unwarranted.

Business late lunch , quiet and was great for side discussions, service was quick, food was amazing , 3 out of the 5 people that was in my group was there first time there. Everyone is planning on taking their wives there.
