Very accommodating to our large party of 13. Great service and atmosphere, was reasonably priced.
A really cool spot. We will definitely return.
Had a wonderful experience at Midnight Iris! Our server, Doris, was very attentive and made us feel right at home. We also found out that the kitchen had an all-female staff and the recipes were homemade. Highly recommend the chicken nuggets and pretzels for an appetizer. The entrees were delicious and the dessert was perfect. Excellent service and wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back in the very near future! Thank you, Midnight Iris!
We had an excellent experience at Midnight Iris. It's my new favorite restaurant in Philly and I can't recommend it enough. The restaurant is cool, service spectacular, and food was unique and really good. Good with kids too because they are so nice and have board games for them to play.
We have been here a few times and it is consistently an A+. We love the Veggie burger, fries, salad, desserts AND the special cocktails. The ambience is very comfortable and the staff is welcoming. It’s a neighborhood gem!
My husband and I decided to try somewhere new for Valentine’s dinner and we heading here. A neighborhood bar/restaurant that was wonderful. We were welcomed by Doris behind the bar and were seated right away. Doris was our waitress as well . Great drinks, great service, great food . Not an extensive menu but plenty of great options, good vegetarian options. I loved the decor, one thing I would say was the seating was close together.
10 of us came together from across the country for an annual conference. We are close friends and we look for a special place for dinner each year. Midnight Iris met our expectations and more. Caitlin, the owner, and Doris, our server extraordinaire, created an experience for us that we won’t soon forget. The space was fun and comfortable and beautiful. I personally have never eaten at a place like it and will absolutely go back with a few friends or a group, no doubt. If you’re looking at this review, I stand behind it 100% and suggest you check this place out. If you’re looking for a cool and relaxed and delicious place where you and your guests will have a nice meal, and enjoy drinks and/or table games if you like, you won’t be disappointed.
I, once again, had the privilege to dine at Midnight Iris, while also doing quizzo. The buffalo wings and buffalo cauliflower salad were both top notch.
The drink menu is awesome with a lot of variety. Outside of someone’s house party, where else can you order Jell-O shots?!
Went to Midnight Iris for quizzo and dinner. The buffalo cauliflower salad was incredible. I always love it there.
An old Philly hangout from the 70s. Food was good. Server was engaging. Atmosphere “interesting.” Not what we expected from the gallery pix.
My friends and I went to Midnight Iris to partake in Quizzo. Always a great time and the service, drinks and food are great.
Incredible experience! Service exceeded expectations, food and cocktails were incredible. Highly recommend!
The food is always good, but the ambiance and people are really great. All of the staff at Midnight Iris are personable and friendly, and you get that “neighborhood bar” feel but at a more upscale level. It’s a nice place to go for dinner or to hang out for a drink.
Service and food are excellent. All around a fun and relaxing time.
Small brunch menu
Pitcher of bloody Mary's for $28 but most of our pitcher was ice. But the were tasty.
A must have is the "pig candy"
Love the gnocchi dish!
My husband had the roasted chicken and enjoyed it
My girlfriend had the cauliflower salad and her husband had the chicken salad sandwich
Beautiful bar and lovely bartender
Cute place, fun for brunch! Food was good, nothing extraordinary, but still tasty. Beer selection was really good, they had several seasonals on draft and a few other can/bottle options. Love the disco ball!
Awesome experience. Welcoming and friendly. Great food and wonderful service.
Walked in as they were opening. Downstairs bar is very nice, great service, and a fun place to strike up a conversation. You feel like you're in someone's living room. Dining room is also great and food was phenomenal. Apps were great. Looking forward to coming back soon. This is a hidden gem in Philly.
Gnocchi is amazing!
my husband loved the burger!
My friend loved the chicken!
Will come back again
Had a ten person birthday dinner here and was not disappointed. Food and service were superb. Atmosphere was cozy and quirky without being tacky. Our whole party was raving about how wonderful is was. We will be back.
Tiny fish tacos (2 for $14) and grocery store hummus plate were mediocre and overpriced. Noise level was unbearably loud. Many better options out there.
Amazing atmosphere with eclectic stylings. The food was creative and delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will be making this a regular destination.
Very cool eclectic decor, comfortable neighborhood restaurant. Great menu choices. They have 2 bars - the one upstairs is bigger than the downstairs bar. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Board games are available. We have been here many times and will continue to go back.
Ideal place to hang with games and fun service
Very pleasant. Beautiful presentation, excellent food. Friendly efficient service. Attractive surroundings.
Server was great....hamburger good but for price should have been a bit bigger.
Quiet enough to have a conversation which was great.
Wonderful food and a great staff! Had brunch there this past Sunday. They treated us like friends right from the start. The food is what gets you to make the reservation. The staff and the food is what brings you back!
Amazing service! The food was excellent and our server made our experience even better! Great for groups and birthdays
Delish food and great service! I highly recommend!
There was nothing special about the food and there was no theme.
Food was delicious and prepared just right. Our wait staff-Doris was wonderful.
Great service from a knowledgeable server. Suggested the salad of the day, Mexican corn salad and it was wonderful. Pasta entree was great. Very quiet for a first date..
I ADORE Keen. We had a meal full of flavor and utter deliciousness. Even the salad was perfection. They line the bowl with house ricotta ❤️. The garlic in each dish was exactly right. We loved the two people who were covering the dining room, both so warm and fun. Seriously, go here!!
This was our first time at Keen and we loved everything about it. Let me begin by recognizing the staff for being so accommodating and upbeat-the service was nothing short of excellent. The food was even more excellent! I had the fish tacos and they were great. All 6 of us loved our food including the bacon. I wouldn’t have ordered the bacon but when I tried it I understood what all the fuss was about. They did not rush us out of the restaurant which made us feel relaxed. Great decor and ambiance. I highly recommend Keen and I will be back.
Delicious dinner in a super fun spot! Our group ordered the fish tacos, scallops, chicken sandwich and steak salad. All were excellent. Jamyl, our server, was entertaining and attentive.
We love this place! The servers are so fun and the food is great. It’s comfort food with many quality cocktails. We have gone 3 times so far and every time we end up going upstairs after dinner for board games, lounging, and a couple more cocktails. It is our new favorite hangout!
The menu was completely different than what was online and replaced with the most basic of brunch options. The food took 40 minutes despite us being the only party in the restaurant (that should have tipped us off). My eggs arrived a few degrees below Luke warm. The waiter was very nice but the restaurant was pretty bad. With all the wonderful Philly options out there, this is one I would take a hard pass on.
Good vibes and even better food.
Keen was recommended by a friend - so for our first Philly dinner we chose Keen and it did not disappoint. Great service. Loved the Moscow Mule cocktail. A great start were the mushroom rice balls with celery sage pesto - nice flavors - 5 nice sized rice balls. We couldn't resist getting the PIG CANDY - Lean maple glazed bacon. We got to try some new items to be added to the upcoming spring menu - 2 salads and we can't decide which one we liked best --both unique. A spring asparagus salad with watermelon radish. The asparagus was cooked just right - crisp - not over or undercooked - really perfect. And a raw spicy broccoli salad with spring mix, sprouts, lacto-fermented rhubarb with a house made hot sauce vinaigrette - all the textures and flavors came together so nicely. We went all the way and also ordered the pork tacos (mustard rubbed roast pork with chipotle aioli, mango, black bean salsa, pickled red onion and cilantro. These had a nice "kick". Every dish was carefully prepared and served. We weren't rushed and being able to have a normal conversation was a treat. Check this hidden gem out. I know we'll be back!
