The best Mildred’s there is! Beautiful decor, food tastes good, great service and reasonable prices. They even put a candle in our desert for my friends birthday! I’ll definitely be back!

First time at this location. Food was great as always with Mildreds. Despite how busy the restaurant was for a Tuesday night, the service was fantastic. Quite noisy and the tables were very close together but all full so clearly a location in demand.

We decided to go for the tasting menu. The starters were delicious especially the vegan arancini and the gyoza. So we were eagerly looking forward to our mains. Unfortunately the mains was a bit disappointing: it was a rice based dish with butternut squash with a separate coconut curry sauce, beetroot side dish and a green salad. It was just a bit dry and underwhelming taste wise compared to the starters (which were all lovely). I think it was a new menu - just one of those things: it wasn't badly cooked, just not great. The green salad was notably poor: seemed to be just lettuce and cucumber? We didn't even eat it. A shame because the restaurant was a great place to visit overall, with friendly and helpful staff, who came over to check on us and seemed interested in how we were finding the meal and our comments. I would be interested in going again and trying something else on the menu for mains.

We tried the tasting menu, it was all very delicious although the main curry was quite small for three people - the table next to us had the same size dish between two people. Food is varied & tasty and lovely to have so much vegetarian and vegan choice. The wine was a little pricey by comparison. All in all a very nice evening foodwise. It was a birthday occasion, we had included this in our booking but the restaurant made no effort to recognise it.

The service was excellent! The staff is very attentive and professional! Well done team! The food was just fine. I had an artichoke kale caesar salad and a lemon pepper chips both good but lacked personality and promised flavours.

My friend and I really enjoyed the tasting menu - food was delicious. Decent wine too. It was pretty busy but the food came fairly quickly. The only downside was the servers didn’t check up on us at all during the meal to check if we wanted more wine / water etc so we kept trying to grab their attention. But otherwise it was a very pleasant experience :)

Amazing sharing menu for £25 each. Every dish was bursting with wonderful flavours. Beautiful presentation too. Our first visit to Mildred’s. Will not be our last!
