Just a great evening . Staff who served us were great
Brilliant atmosphere and delicious afternoon tea! I would highly recommend a visit to The Ned.
Beautiful location, great breakfast/ brunch options, lots of healthy options. Service was wonderful and they even brought out a little cake at the end since it was my birthday. The interiors are stunning.
Lovely staff who arranged for a birthday cake for my Mother. Was a really nice touch to the end of a lovely meal. Excellent polite staff and top service.
Great service fantastic meal
A good location and atmosphere for a business lunch. Very comfortable with a great selection of wine and food.
I go here a lot. Today was very disappointing. Wrong coffee twice. Slow service. And the omelettes are getting smaller. Raise the price a £ if you need to, but tiny meals just make me want to go elsewhere.
Very nice place with live music, wide salons and high ceilings. Ideal for a date or group outing, hidden gem in the City
The Ned is possibly one of London’s best destinations for a night or lunch.
The building is just incredible as is the music.
A great buzzy atmosphere.
I’ve eaten in a Millie’s now about 5 times. The food is a bit hit and miss. I would stick to the classics however why the staff very attentive in sorting out any food issues. The cocktails are really great.
An mazing building, beautifully restored with 1920's style interior design. A really lovely afternoon tea with unlimited sandwiches and tea. Very good value in comparison to others in London. Would highly recommend a visit to the Ned.
I should have mention this on the evening itself, but the service was very very slow and didn’t give us any attention, just when we raised the arm, which is not the right time thing to do but it was needed.
First time ever in our life we walked out of a restaurant. In the first 20 minutes we didn't even received the sparkling water we asked when we arrived. After hunting down a waiter - who was having fun with his mates - we were told to ask somebody else...
No choice but to leave in afraid.
Great food, and atmosphere. The service was really good and I will definitely be going back. Great night.
great lunch, service was top notch. not to keen on the low level seating though.
Great service & food. Glad i booked at bale s the venue gets very busy on a Thursday evening. Jazz band was incredible.
The perfect venue with excellent food, excellent service and excellent ambience. Have booked for Sunday Feast and cannot wait for our next visit.
Amazing cocktails at Cecconi then onto Millie’s for dinner. Ran out of Cocktails so tried to switch to rose wine and they ran out of that too. Really on a Tuesday night.
Fabulous venue with a great ambiance. Ideal for drinks or a special occasion. Great place for business meetings with multiple restaurants and large bar area. Millie's menu was extensive and what we had was delicious. It is a little pricey but worth every penny.
Amazing food and great service - Valeria was a brilliant waitress
Afternoon tea booked table not ready put in a corner no choice given for veggies had to ask cakes very uninspiring
Table was untidy when seated.
Had to prompt a waiter to take food order.
Food (bacon sandwich) did not arrive within 20 mins so I had to cancel.
AMazing place, good food and good music. I love the sunday Feast too
Fun and delicious! Try and get a table with a view of the band however, not too close!
Service was attentive but not in your face and atmosphere was fab
Visited the hotel for afternoon tea. Wonderful setting, nice food and the price for afternoon tea is very reasonable. The only thing I could falter slightly was the service, I think the staff need to be a little more attentive, I struggled to get anyone’s attention to ask for a top up of tea and after finally giving my order, the waitress never returned with the tea. Other than this, it was a nice experience and I would go again.
Loved it. Food was gorgeous and place beautiful. Thank you.
Mediocre food and terrible service.
Would not recommend.
My partner and I visited Millie’s Lounge for the Easter Sunday Feast. For £65 pp we enjoyed a buffet of decadent foods. The selection was vast! I was really impressed. Roast meats, fish, smoked salmon, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings...there is so much on offer. And this is just the for the main course. There are loads of bits to start and the dessert spread was awesome. Lots on offer and even extra on offer to celebrate Easter. The Easter Sunday Feast also came with a free glass of prosecco and live music throughout. We left feeling well fed and really happy. I cannot wait to visit again and would definitely recommend. The usual price is £45 pp which includes the live music and the buffer for 2hours. Tell them I sent you. KL
The service at Millie’s was terrible we had to constantly ask for our water and wine to be topped up.
The lobster was also freezing. The Ned is such an amazing venue so it was very unfortunate to be so disappointed in the service and our meal.
The fish and chips was quite possibly the worst I've had. Didn't taste fresh at all.
Not much "service" either
The building is impressive. Ex Midland Bank head office with a £380m refurb. Unique in The City. Excellent stat and good quality food. Wine and bubbles are a little pricey but well worth a visit.
Brilliant place for any celebration, loved the visit
We had afternoon tea, very nice.....we all enjoyed our afternoon.....
Loved the general feel of the place very atmospheric. Loved the décor and that they kept all the original features of the building. Service excellent, made to feel welcome. My food order was wrong but they were very helpful in correcting and replacing my meal. Highly recommended and will be back.
Great ambience and surrounding - the Sunday Feast was excellent (although quality of desserts was a little poor). Service was generally disappointing - staff gave off the impression that the venue is popular enough not to necessitate good customer service and refused to take two soft drinks off the bill, despite initially informing us that both prosecco and a soft drink were part of the Sunday Feast package. This seemed ridiculous in proportion to our overall spend and how much the dispute detracted from our overall experience, causing us to ask for the cost to be taken off the service charge.
We met for Afternoon tea to celebrate a 50th Birthday, and it was perfect. They even bought an extra slice of cake with Happy Birthdaywritten on it and a lit candle in it!
The venue is really nice, very vintage and well decorated. There was a live musician which was really enjoyable. The food was delicious, really nice combinations, however the only downside was the dairy free option which had less variety and was a bit dry. The service was good but not as good as I expected, the staff seemed busy and a bit frustrated at times.
Brill service and food.
Had a great weekend eating at Millies Breakfast Lunch Dinner Great atmosphere Food and Service especially Peter the American Waiter an asset to Millies
