We had a wonderful breakfast with great service. Our various dietary requirements were expertly taken care of and the food was delicious. We’ll be back!
Gorgeous setting with excellent food and staff who couldn’t do enough to help ensure that we had a lovely experience. Offered more food and ensured that we had enough tea. Will definitely return.
Very attentive waiters , excellent meal.
Good girl singer , not to loud.
The venue is lovely, with comfortable seating and a good atmosphere.
We had the best breakfast yesterday - Jack and his team are amazing - so lovely, friendly, efficient - nothing is too much trouble. I can't wait to go back next week!
Nice place, but the food and the attention is only OK...
very unusual setting - in an old banking hall - has the 20's kind of feel.
Food is great also. With the wide selection of restaurants one can find the type of food one wants there.
Service could be better, the girl did not smile, almost a bit stuck up and despite me asking twice we never got any tap water. Food was ok, was expecting it to be better, whilst I did ask for my lamb to come up medium rare, it came up a bit too rare. She said only 'pink' was available during the order which would have been ok but rare is a bit much. I found the food also luke warm so by the time all the condiments arrived it was cold. I had to also ask for a spoon, this should be automatic as I don't fancy putting my knife or fork into the condiment. Waitress could've asked if we wanted any condiments but didn't and we had to ask for it. Thanks
I enjoyed the tasty rib eye steak. Waiting staff were very pleasant and attentive. After my meal I listened to some great artists for #newmusicmonday - will definitely come back with friends. Thank you.
Great casual dining with great quality food in a sociable and buzzy environment.
Afternoon tea & service was excellent, couldn't fault anything. The one reason I gave it 4 is because the friend I was with (from Hungary) wanted her photo next to the "Safe Door". Only to be told we couldn't go near it by a miserable young girl telling us it was a private member's club. The club was closed so why such an issue. That's what we remembered our visit by.
I’ve been to the Ned before and have loved it there but I was disappointed with the food this time .. had fish and chips.. chips were poor .. thin and over cooked and the fish wasn’t great
Great service and attention to detail. A wide selection of dishes to choose from. Something for everyone.
Excellent cocktails and such a lovely atmosphere! Live music also makes it very Gatsby-esque.
Staff rude. Service lacklustre. This place is too big and lacks the personal fouch
our servers were particularly nice - not too fussy but looked after us well. we loved the ambience and being able to have our meeting in peace. we want to have all our meetings there now.....
Lovely as usual. Had booked thinking we would all get afternoon tea (as we have many times) but when we saw the menu we decided to go for lunch options and so glad we did because they were all delish. I struggled ever so slightly as a vegan but the red pepper soup was so lovely (and side order of chips!!), they had a great selection of alternative milks for our after meal teas and coffees too. And a bonus is that id forgotten when booking that I'd said it was for a birthday, so when the waiter came over with a plate with a mini cake and candle in I was just as surprised as my mother in law who's birthday we were celebrating! Lovely touch.
The service was perfect. Attentive but not intrusive. Plenty of food and drink. I would thoroughly recommend Millie’s for an afternoon tea
Had brunch here yesterday..... lovely staff, Friendly and personable. Kedgeree was tasty... along with the Prosecco ... perfect for a birthday treat. Birthday girl was presented with a little cake and candle, we hadn’t asked for this so it was a lovely touch.
This place is not suitable for family with children. Too noisy, and staff could really be rude. They need to train those at the reception how to make their guest a bit welcome in the midsts of noise and chaos (on a Friday after office night). Disappointing service, British food is nothing extraordinary that you can find in any British pub place (likely better and cheaper).
Such a nice ambience, great place tonstart the day! Unfortunately marred by a bit if eggshell in my omlette, but that happens to the best of us. Service was good though, and my companion had the pancakes which were generous and excellent. Coffee was good too!!
Lovely afternoon spent with friends. Great service. Delicious afternoon tea. Nut allergy not a problem and managed well. Alternative cakes were delicious. Felt like a very special treat. Highly recommend.
Having been here before I was very dissapointed with the food this time. I was given gluten free bread which was sadly two burnt slices of toast, I also ordered the half lobster but there was hardely any meat as there was none on the body itself just the tail and claw. The service was however very good and the ambiance great.
I’m sorry but we are indeed surprised by the attitude of the waitresses. They are the most unfriendly ones we’ve come across during this trip. The way they looked at us was as if we’ve done something wrong.
As the organiser of this breakfast, I felt fairly embarrassed. It’s such a waste of their time as well if they don’t enjoy their job...also a waste of the good interior, food and atmosphere- they killed them all.
Once again, my apologies if it sounds rather harsh but to be honest, this experience has put me off from coming again.
Amazing restaurant, food was very tasty. High recommend our waitress Jess who made sure our experience was to a high standard!
Friday night eats with some great cocktails, excellent service.
Was disappointed with the food but everything else was great - the atmosphere was really buzzing!!
A good setting for a formal and informal meeting. Service is great but as for value for money, a llittle expensive.
It’s a lovely atmosphere with very comfy and cosy tables, the live music was fab and our waitress was very friendly and the right kind of attentive (not to little, not too much). The only reason it’s not 5’s across the board is that the cooked food was a little over cooked - poached eggs more like hard boiled etc. But overall a lovely place for a leisurely meal.
Amazing venue - can’t wait to go again ....
Had a great afternoon tea at Millie’s Lounge on Saturday with my family. The service was great and the live music complimented the experience perfectly.
Definitely a place to dine at for a special occasion.... best in the square mile
Excellent service, food and ambiance. I’m definitely going to be back.
It gets better and better for breakfast. Love the fact you can swap out on English breakfast with another item.
Beautiful venue and the food was amazing! Only down-side was that there was a long wait for the mains to come out, and as the venue is open-plan, the noise level was very high.
2 items not on the menu and not being told at the outset was poor but the waitress made up for this with an apology and free desert ! Great food
I took my husband for his birthday, and was really looking forward to it but unfortunately it was just disappointing and didn't live up to the rave reviews we have heard! Great venue and atmosphere and music though, and would go back for drinks but unsure if I'd bother going back to Millie's Lounge. The waiters were lovely but kept appearing with the wrong food/drinks, messed up our drink orders, the food took ages for mains and when it arrived mine was so unpleasant I couldn't eat it! My husband's steak was way overcooked so overall it was just ok and I have had better food elsewhere. They didn't charge for my main and did come ask for feedback so I appreciated that, but the staff couldn't hear people ordering even though we repeated things several times so when we asked for a glass of wine they opened a bottle for us, I tried to explain a severe egg allergy but they just couldn't hear!
Great food and service. Would return! Can be a little noisy for dinner on a Monday
Very goed atmosphere and food however service and friendliness of staff could be better.
Gorgeous setting, staff fantastic very attentive, music the whole time, absolutely would go back and definitely recommend.
