Great place for Afternoon Tea. Food and ambience were great and the staff were absolutely lovely
It was perfect for a Friday night with friends! There was live music and a good atmosphere, although slightly loud. We were catching up with a friend we hadn’t seem for a while and it was sometimes hard to communicate, but in the end we had a lovely evening.
The service was good but rather slow. My burger was dry but otherwise tasty. It was just hard to have a conversation due to the band noise.
Always a great experience at the Ned!
Easy place to come to after work. As always, great atmosphere if you like a buzz. Good food and service and lovely cocktails and wine at the bar.
Although I would recommend this place for its unique setting my food was cold when served, several pieces of egg shell found in poached eggs. Restaurant service was good but poor from the front of house- very unwelcoming.
We went for birthday lunch with our 3 week old twins. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and gave us great seats and space.
I booked the table in my manager's name, when he arrived there was no record of the booking, he then made an order which was wrong when it arrived and then he had to go to the till to pay as no one was around to get the bill to the table.
Food (eggs Benedict was lukewarm)
Tables are very close to each other, couldn't have a conversation with my partner as we had loud business conversations going on from both sides of us, literally 20cm away from each ear.
The service was good, friendly and efficient.
Service was great and with my wife being Gluten Free, Nut allergy and Dairy Free they were very good to accommodate.
The food was lovely especially the mash and really great service all round
Staff were amazing so attentive and pleasant and knowledgeable. The food (afternoon tea) again was amazing and tasty. We sat in a lovely booth again so nice and the atmosphere very enjoyable.
Lovely experience with Friends for a Birthday celebration.
Breakfast is always good here! Service was excellent and a great place in the city to catch up with people as you get little booths and tables that are good for talking.
Lovely atmosphere, chic decor and lively entertainment. Swanky bars and beautiful people. Food is good and quite an impressive selection of wines and other alcoholic beverages.
Really great 5 star service, expensive so could only come for a treat. Would recommend this for a night out, ambience fantastic.
Good atmosphere but food took a long time to arrive and when it did it was cold and my shepherds pie was poor quality
Great atmosphere and very tasty food. my go-to place for social gatherings
We loved everything about it. It was a birthday lunch and we were looked after so well. We would definite return and have already recommended it . A most enjoyable experience .
The only downside was the music. Normally the music is relaxing and enjoyable but on Saturday it was more like heavy rock which was very loud and quite annoying. Was a big relief when they finally finished the set which went on much too long.
What an amazing place to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary, A+A+A+A+.
Our visit to the ned for afternoon tea was perfect for my daughters birthday
A great afternoon, very relaxing atmosphere and never felt rushed. Definitely come back again.
We didn't get offered anymore sandwiches until we were into the cakes. The staff took way too long to return to check on us. The noise of the band was so loud we could hardly hear each other speak. The Ned itself is a wonderful venue but the staff were obviously too busy!
It’s incredibly noisy and impossible to hold a conversation
We had a lovely breakfast at Millie's Lounge celebrating my sister's 21st birthday. When I mentioned this, the waitress very kindly brought us a delicious muffin with a lit candle to help us celebrate! The pancakes were amazing and absolutely delicious!
2nd time at the Ned, love the food and surroundings
Great food, good service in a fantastic atmosphere of the Ned
Had a great time good value for money and great atmosphere
Had a perfect day with lovely friends . Food and coffee was lovely . Diet was out the window for Saturday😃
What a wonderful venue! And even though it was very busy in the end, the high ceilings soak up the noise level easily!
We had afternoon tea which was delicious!
I would highly recommend the Ned and will be going again for sure
Great, other than the seating. Wholly inappropriate chairs for dining.
Wonderful food, great service, return regularly for breakfast and lunch meetings.
Food and service excellent. Spoilt entirely by an unacceptable level of noise from live music. Dreadful. You could not have a conversation yet alone a relaxing meal. Apologies from the waiters was of no comfort. I felt sorry for them they were forced to field countless complaints from all areas of the restaurant all evening.
You must decide whether you are a noisy raucous pub or an excellent, gentle relaxing restaurant.. I for one will not return unless / until the decibel level returns to its pre rock levels.
Excellent service and the food was delicious - zero compliants - we love Millie Lounge
Our waitress was Timea who was so lovely, helpful and thoughtful! She made sure we were happy constantly, and even gifted my mum a birthday desert which I was very grateful for. Would definitely recommend and want to point out Timea was the best!
My sister and I had afternoon tea here and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant but you could still hear the piano playing in the background. Food was great and nice selection of teas. A great modern take on a traditional dining experience.
Great food, great venue, live music and service was excellent. Going back again.
Asked for a booth for my birthday but I did not get one, the lady who served us was nice and friendly, though overall service was strict and a bit cold.
There’s just something about the Ned which I really enjoy. Only ever been at the weekend (evenings) and so live music which is loud but always a good atmosphere- our waiter was lovely (no pressure and very good service). All different ages/types of people. Food at Millie’s Lounge was good and just enough. I will return.
