We went to Mimis for our anniversary lunch midweek and we had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The venue has a great decor and it is very clean. The food was outstanding! We were very impressed with the presentation and taste of the food. Would definitely recommend.

Went to dinner on a Thursday night - 6 of us. The interior and furniture is lovely, a high end vibe. Food was great, with the spring menu and reasonably priced with the 2 and 3 course priced menu. Starter sizes are very small though and should be made bigger. Cocktails were delicious made by Jimmy. The waiter was very attentive. We were the only people in the restaurant for the whole evening, so the atmosphere needs improvement. Would go back, on the weekend.

Again surprised by the quality of food, the lobster risotto...is a must. The service has been a bit lack luster in the past but I am delighted to report that these has most definitely improved. We were really well looked after and I am looking forward to our next visit already.

Mimis service was lovely, very pleasant and polite. The restaurant is modern, and pristine. The food was delicious, My family had a roast serving board, I highly recommend, it was beautifully cooked, will go back again

A great place for our Sunday brunch (and we will be going back for lunch having seen the beef and Yorkshire puddings as we left!). The staff were so lovely and the food was delicious, as were the coffees. There atmosphere was perfect - quiet enough to chat but buzzy enough to feel comfortable- I will definitely be back.

Punching …….. Starters were delicious, sadly all downhill from there. No attention from the staff for drinks, the chef was constantly eating in the kitchen which is clearly visible from the dining room and very off putting. Main course lamb cutlets were almost raw, most definitely not pink! Fish main course very small. When mentioned to maitre d he was not interested. Shame as lovely looking restaurant and starter courses were great.

Great experience. Polished service but did not feel stuffy. Did 3 courses instead of 2 and got a great sample of the menu. Loved the amuse-bouche from the chef to begin, then the salmon starter and fillet main. Highly recommend

I had only been in Mimi’s bar area for coffee before served by a lovely barman, Brian. I booked lunch for two to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We chose from the spring menu, which had just been introduced that day. We chose the £35 two courses menu of a starter & mains, or it could be mains and dessert. We were treated to a S’Amuse Bouche to accompany our glass of Prosecco. The beef ravioli starter was delicious, as was the cod with asparagus, samphire and mashed potatoes. All served beautifully on attractive dishes For a special lunch, this is an excellent place to go.

Food was really good. So was service. Only thing I would say is our tea cups were half filled so we didn’t get a full cup of tea for the money we paid. We didn’t mention to be fair so can’t say they didn’t wedding rectify it. Will book again.

Lovely menu, food was brilliantly presented and high quality ingredients. Service a little slow but it was busy as Friday evening. Quite noisy as it appears the cocktails and wine list are popular with patrons! Struggled to have a conversation at times. Would definitely return though.

This was our first visit, but unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The food was below average. We were group of 4 and two of us left our main dishes pretty much untouched as they were not edible - risotto with duck leg. We did feedback to the waiter that the dishes were bland, cold and tasteless. No one seemed to care. We skipped the dessert altogether. Needless to say we certainly won't be returning.

We went as a family for Sunday lunch have read other reviews. The food was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Not the cheapest option but on balance worth it. We will visit again.

Fabulous brunch at Mimi’s. The food was delicious! And the service was great, very attentive and friendly, felt very relaxed and no rushing you off your table. I will definitely be visiting again, thank you Mimi’s!

Lovely staff, food was delicious and served quick. Pornstar martini cocktail was a bit disappointing, didn’t get the passion fruit on top of the shot of Prosecco with it. Overall lovely we was in back of restaurant where it lacked any vibe or music. Would visit again

Had such a great night at Mimi's on Saturday with my friend. We enjoyed lots of cocktails and wine, the food was delicious and the staff were so lovely. Didn't leave until 1am! We really had the best night. Will be back again very soon, thank you!

Perfect location for an evening spent catching up with friends. A few of us arrived early so had a pre dinner cocktail in the bar (which was delicious and a lovely setting) before going through to our table in the restaurant. The service throughout was excellent with incredibly knowledgeable staff serving us both in the restaurant and at the bar. Food was superb and the open kitchen is a really great touch as you can see everything being meticulously prepared. We all commented how much we enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Strongly recommend if you haven’t been!

Went for a Sunday Roast with friends. Had heard good things but disappointed with our first visit. Ordered a sharing roast platter, which we thought was on the small side, and also not piping hot. We were sat by the kitchen and could see a lot of the food being sat there before taking out to tables. We also ordered two side orders of cauliflower cheese, which were undercooked and runny, so sent these back in the understanding they would be replaced. They were bought out again when three of the meals had been finished, no apology. Small things like glasses not been cleared, starter cutlery being left on the table whilst the waiting staff were discussing table plans. No complaints about the staff however they were friendly but maybe a bit more experience needed, just tainted our expectations.
