Great meal as usual.
Good food and great service
Lovely staff and ambience. Average food, not very nice mocktails.
Food was good in parts but poor in others. "Mild" was requested but hot came. Rabbit curry was excellent but battered asparagus was crunchy and tough. Complaints were more or less shrugged off. £65 a head with very little to drink was very expensive.
The music in the restaurant was too loud and not suitable to the style of the restaurant. We could not talk to each other it was so loud.
Quiet evening in the restaurant this evening with good food but slow and inattentive service.
Great restaurant for Indian cuisine. Fragrant, tasty dishes with the right amount of heat. Cocktails are expensive, but typical of this part of town. On the whole, I would gladly recommend and return.
Very accommodating and welcoming. Food was amazing and well presented.
Decent quality curry, above the normal standard for a typical curry. Slightly more expensive than would have expected given we were on a two course set menu.
I felt it was too noisy for lunch today and the tables are two squeezed together, making it difficult to have a meaningful business conversation.
Food was good like always and service was also very good.
Food was OK, but very expensive for the size of portions. I know its London but its not Michelin Star or they can't provide a view or ambiance of The Shard. Will not go there again.
Food was very poor and nothing like Mint Leaf in Haymarket - either very bland or extremely spicy.
Every time the waitress came over it seemed to be a chore and I am not sure she could have looked at us with more disdain
Music was on the loud size which made discussion challenging
Happy to pay the price if it’s worth it - in my opinion this definitely was not!
Typical City place. Nice staff, but you pay for it! Food was fine.
Great food and atmosphere. Had the mixed grill, rotis, dessert & wine.
All very tasty
The crime brûlée would have been better warm is the only point I’d make
Not enough staff, poor quality of food.
Lipstick on a brand new glass of champagne, waiter simply laughed and went a got a new one. No apology.
Starters were brought out after a long wait. They were cold.
We chased for the poppadoms - these were brought after the starters.
We had to request our glasses be topped up, would’ve done ourselves but the bottle was nowhere to be seen.
Cutlery provided for the mains, fork was dirty. Asked waitress for another. She inspected and it retrieved another - no apology.
Mains were delicious.
Service was non existent. Put off from visiting again.
Seriously underwhelming and disappointing especially with a £240 bill for lunch which was only for 4 people and with 1 bottle of Prosecco.
Booking through OpenTable wasn’t registered. Guests had to wait as a result and got delayed to leave eventually. There weren’t much drink options other than beer, wine and soft drinks. We were told time to serve food would be long and hence asked to place order for starters and mains all together. All in all, not a great experience!
A terrible experience- constant pressure to take and then leave the table; poor service and mediocre food.
Good service. Food was good but expensive. Buzzing atmosphere
Average food, nothing special. Not authentic Indian cuisine. Overpriced.
Excellent food- great choice and extremely tasty. Service a little slow, but it was very busy. A live saxophone player was nice (don’t know if that happens every night!)
Why allow people to make a reservation at a restaurant if it is shut. Incredibly poor service!! What a waste of a journey, totally spoilt our night
I booked a table at the Mint Leaf Lounge to celebrate my dads birthday, we ordered a mixture of meat and seafood curries, the atmosphere was good and service was fair however the food left much to be desired for, the menu was minimal and overpriced and not the standard one would expect especially at £45 a head. The next day 3 out of 5 of my family members were sick, from the food at the Mint Leaf Lounge restaurant. When I called the restaurant the following day the restaurant manager who rudely responded advised it was not their fault and made false claims of calling their customers to see if anyone was sick. We were appalled at the way this complaint was handled and lack of acknowledgment that their food had directly caused their clients to be sick. We will not be going there again and recommend that you save your money and seek restaurants who will offer better service, food, overall quality and customer care at a reasonable price than the Mint Leaf Lounge.
Great central location.
Service could be more polished but still very good
Great food and service. A bit loud.
Shocking service, average food. Not worth the spend - worst birthday meal i’ve had due to the absolutely pompous and arrogant waiter who served us - memorable for all the wrong reasons.
I enjoyed the food, my sea bass was a bit dry but everything else really compensated for it. I loved the cheesy naan and the cocktails were amazing!
Good service, good value. We will come again
Booking process was easy and they confirmed as outlined. Meal was for 6 for lunch and the venue was perfect for this. I can imagine it gets quite busy in the evenings. Food was excellent. Service was good, but could have been a bit more attentive. Would definitely go back though.
I have been a great fan of both Mint Leaf and Mint Leaf Lounge over the years. However on this occasion I was disappointed. We waited patiently for a bottle of wine, and had to ask again when it didn't arrive after c15 minutes. The Kadhai Vegetable main course on the lunch menu was in fact mixed peppers with a couple of pieces of cauliflower - although the gravy was tasty. The accompanying nan was cold however the black dal was as good as it always is.
Very good lunch.
Very good Indian food and great ambience.
The wait was a little unreasonable considering we had a reservation and the restaurant was not full. Otherwise it was great.
Great food and great service, a very pleasurable business meal, thank you.
Great food of the usual high quality. Pricier than I remember
We had booked the set menu so the server should have given us the correct menus accordingly as twice she had to go back and give us the correct menus. But other than that - food was amazing!!
Food was beautiful, all enjoyed our meal however the music (Techno / Bass music) in the venue was very loud and did not fit the ambiance of the restaurant.
We booked the Mint Leaf Lounge with the special offer of three courses and a cocktail, but were very disappointed with the quality of the food. It really wasn't a special offer at all, as the food we received wasn't worth more than we paid for it, even with the offer. The cocktail also could only be chosen from a list of cheap 'happy hour' cocktails. I would rather have paid full price in a cheaper restaurant, as I think we would have had a better meal.
This is my second time in visiting The Mint Leaf, the food was super amazing, the table service on this visit was slow and mediocre . The FOH service from Reception was fantastic.
Overall the food was fabulous and everything was very good, however I was super spoiled on my first visit.
massively overpriced. £28 for normal single size king prawn curry? £36 for two G&T and a glass of house red? I work in the city, used to the prices but this is ridiculous.
Tried to sit us on bench by the kitchen, half an hour latter squeezed us in with far too many tables already so they could hardly get round to serve and so noisy could hardly speak. Never again.
