Excellent food and cocktails. The service was wonderful too!
This is a lovely setting with a great bar for pre dinner cocktails. The food was outstanding and with the opentable set menu was great value. We will definately return.
The mains are delicious ( especially the biryani). The starters are a bit overpriced but tasty.
The Happy Hour Cocktails were okayish.
I dined at Mint Leaf back in February on Valentine’s Day and we loved the whole experience. Food was excellent from the starters to the dessert. Based on that experience, we booked again for a date and it definitely was not the same. Service was still great but we didn’t finish our mains nor get dessert.
This is my second visit and I wasn't disappointed. We ordered from their special menu and the selection was a good choice for the value
food and service were ok but not great and was expensive for what it was. better for lunch than for dinner.
Fantastic lunch - great service - great food - thoroughly recommend.
Complies to new Covid-19 standard.
Beautiful food and great service! Definitely recommend.
A lovely Indian restaurant!
Pricey but tasty food and good portions.
The venison and lamb were great and the biryani too :)
Even though sea bass was not available, the Tilapia in the banana leaf was cooked to perfection.
City lunch portions are huge! Smaller portions at 20% less would be an ideal scenario
Slow lunch. OK but fairly average food and slow service, but nice people though - not enough staff clearly, which is odd because the price indicates they should be dripping in staff... Nice business lunch, and staff were friendly, and to be fair it was a busy lunchtime in the Christmas period - however we really ran out of time at the end, and it took us so long to get the bill (£10.90 for 2 glasses of what appeared to be tap-water in a mint-leaf branded bottle, and £8 for 2 small glasses of coke - it was overly pricey). £128 for a light lunch for 3 people at a nice, but tbh fairly average curry house is ludicrous. I've been to other Mint Leaf outlets plenty of times in the past, (and my reviews of them are on here) - they are fine - but this place is now the last Mint Leaf I will visit.
Food was below average while the service was poor. Staff were un-accommodating and bordering on being rude.
Poor service. Terrible table, next to the DJ that was playing very loud 80s and 90s music that had no relation to the ambiance of the restaurant.
I have been to Mint Leaf several times, as they usually serve good quality food and the location is very convenient.
However, unfortunately during my last visit, we were deliberately overcharged for our meal by £72.00, which I found very unethical and appalling.
I usually never check my receipts and simply pay, as the meeting are usually business ones. but, last week when we visited, one of my colleagues checked the items (albeit, after we have paid the bill) and found that we have been charged for items we never ordered!
I have come across many restaurants that follow this practice, especially during busy periods, where they feel customers do not check their bills, especially corporate events. But for a restaurant like Mint Leaf to overcharge customers, was just not right, and there is no excuse for this!
I will be checking all my previous receipts and I will be thinking twice before visiting Mint Leaf again.
Good food however the service was quite slow
all perfect
To expensive for the quality of the food. You can get the same food at a half price restaurant. The decor is nice but again doesn't deserve the price you pay.
Great food and service
Enjoyed a good business lunch. Very quiet so the service was attentive. The mixed grill was nice but the mango and passion fruit cheesecake was so delicious
Great meal as usual.
Good food and great service
Lovely staff and ambience. Average food, not very nice mocktails.
Food was good in parts but poor in others. "Mild" was requested but hot came. Rabbit curry was excellent but battered asparagus was crunchy and tough. Complaints were more or less shrugged off. £65 a head with very little to drink was very expensive.
The music in the restaurant was too loud and not suitable to the style of the restaurant. We could not talk to each other it was so loud.
Quiet evening in the restaurant this evening with good food but slow and inattentive service.
Great restaurant for Indian cuisine. Fragrant, tasty dishes with the right amount of heat. Cocktails are expensive, but typical of this part of town. On the whole, I would gladly recommend and return.
Very accommodating and welcoming. Food was amazing and well presented.
Decent quality curry, above the normal standard for a typical curry. Slightly more expensive than would have expected given we were on a two course set menu.
I felt it was too noisy for lunch today and the tables are two squeezed together, making it difficult to have a meaningful business conversation.
Food was good like always and service was also very good.
Food was OK, but very expensive for the size of portions. I know its London but its not Michelin Star or they can't provide a view or ambiance of The Shard. Will not go there again.
Food was very poor and nothing like Mint Leaf in Haymarket - either very bland or extremely spicy.
Every time the waitress came over it seemed to be a chore and I am not sure she could have looked at us with more disdain
Music was on the loud size which made discussion challenging
Happy to pay the price if it’s worth it - in my opinion this definitely was not!
Typical City place. Nice staff, but you pay for it! Food was fine.
Great food and atmosphere. Had the mixed grill, rotis, dessert & wine.
All very tasty
The crime brûlée would have been better warm is the only point I’d make
Not enough staff, poor quality of food.
Lipstick on a brand new glass of champagne, waiter simply laughed and went a got a new one. No apology.
Starters were brought out after a long wait. They were cold.
We chased for the poppadoms - these were brought after the starters.
We had to request our glasses be topped up, would’ve done ourselves but the bottle was nowhere to be seen.
Cutlery provided for the mains, fork was dirty. Asked waitress for another. She inspected and it retrieved another - no apology.
Mains were delicious.
Service was non existent. Put off from visiting again.
Seriously underwhelming and disappointing especially with a £240 bill for lunch which was only for 4 people and with 1 bottle of Prosecco.
Booking through OpenTable wasn’t registered. Guests had to wait as a result and got delayed to leave eventually. There weren’t much drink options other than beer, wine and soft drinks. We were told time to serve food would be long and hence asked to place order for starters and mains all together. All in all, not a great experience!
A terrible experience- constant pressure to take and then leave the table; poor service and mediocre food.
Good service. Food was good but expensive. Buzzing atmosphere
Average food, nothing special. Not authentic Indian cuisine. Overpriced.
