Chose Miss Lilian on a whim searching the internet for somewhere to eat around Katoomba. Was super impressed with the Service and the quality of the food. Would highly recommend this to both locals and tourists either looking for a quiet meal or somewhere to stop on the way through to break up a journey.
Will come again.
Great dumplings, rice paper rolls and chicken skewers. My husband's dessert looked wonderful and he said it was great
The food was pretty average but the customer service was fantastic ! Super friendly staff and had a really nice vibe. It was pretty cold inside too - a heater would've been nice. Probably wouldn't go back because the food was mediocre but I cannot stress enough how lovely the staff were.
Great service from CJ. food fresh and delicious with a variety of flavours. An enjoyable lunch venue worth a visit.
Food quality is average but pricey. Not many food varieties.
Food was great but service was frustratingly poor. Wait staff slow to take initial order and we had to go to the counter 3 times to follow up on order. Coffees came out 15min before desserts. Expect better when paying $70 pp.
Beautiful interior, wonderful staff and excellent desserts!
The dumplings of the Chef's selection were all right. They weren't as great as I was hoping that they would be, but do keep in mind that I have very high standards when it comes to dumplings and dim sums.
This place is the perfect place for desserts and if they ever have a high tea selection. I'd gladly try it out!
Will still definitely come back again for desserts.
Very yummy dumplings, salad, squid and desserts. Friendly staff, and nice ambiance- we will visit again!
The menu is extremely limited with almost no choice at all for vegetarians.
Very disappointing as it used to be excellent with great variety in the past.
Great ambience. Food good but not excellent. Given it’s linked with Lillianfels it should have been superb. One young man (CJ) was excellent but remainder of the front of house staff didn’t speak enough English to clearly explain the dishes on the menu. We enjoyed ourselves but had expected more.
The restaurant itself was very cute! Loved the decorations and the ambiance. The food was great! Although there were a few misses with the steamed dumplings. We ordered the Mud crab & scallop and the Lobster, ginger & shallot. Wished we could have tasted the ginger & shallot flavour a little more.
Our main server was CJ. He looked after us really well. Very polite and checked up on us consistently! His recommedation of the Teriyaki Wagyu skewers were a big hit! Would definitely be back!
Pleasant staff, small servings for the price, missing items on the menu. Food itself was average
it was a beautiful experience. would love to go back.
I dined here with my family recently and had the best dining experience in memory. The decor is beautiful, with a ceiling full of birdcages and faux birds dotted around the eclectic Asian influenced dining room. The service was exceptional and staffed by the same staff that work at fine-dining Echoes next door (as explained to us by the manager of both when he stopped by during our meal). But while the same staff continue to be extremely professional, accommodating and friendly, they create a more relaxed and chilled atmosphere than the fine dining experience they provide next door. We were advised that they have only been opened for a few weeks after closing due to COVID-19 a year ago and had made some changes. We tried a selection of many of the items on offer and were hard-pressed to pick a favourite as they were all so exceptional. Although I do highly recommend the Teriyaki Wagyu Skewers, Duck Fried Spring Rolls and the Chef Selection of Dumplings which are all freshly made in house and the best I've ever tried! I am already looking forward to my next visit, to ensure I leave enough room to try their pretty pasties which are featured proudly in their display case. There are a few parking spaces available out the front, as well as ample metred street parking around the Lilianfel's compound where Miss Lilian's is.

A surprise in the Blue Mountains. Good, but would like to see some more authenticity. A little expensive for the size of the plates.

Good value tasty Asian food with wide range of flavours
Food was good. Wine/beer was good. Service was good. The only issue was that the temperature in the corner where we sat was a little cool for complete comfort.
Lovely setting at Lilianfels resort. Food was good and the cocktails great! Our waitress was excellent and super helpful.
What a find in Katoomba, food was very flavoursome and quick friendly services.
The staff were lovely but the food was not great
The dumplings And spring rolls were nice, seafood in xo sauce at $35 was quite small and $28 for a extremely bland seafood laksa was excessive.
And top it off Our hot Vietnamese coffee was Luke warm
I don’t mind paying for good quality food but we left Miss Lilian extremely disappointed.
I took my friend to miss Lilians for a birthday lunch and it was perfect. The food so fresh and great serves. The decor of the hanging birdcages quirky. It was overall a great place to take my friend for a special lunch.
Beautifully presented, delicious food, wonderful menu (really need to visit a few more times to try everything we wanted on the menu), gorgeous decor and such a pretty garden setting. Thanks Jayson, Anton and all the staff for looking after us :)
Overpriced street food. There was only two tables being served and the waiter appeared to be not interested in mine. Got desserts order wrong as he failed to listen. That could be understandable if it was a busy day but it was quiet. We had to go up to the desserts counter to order in the end as the waiter did not bring a menu around to order from. For the $ paid the service and food as a whole experience was under par. Food was reasonable quality but I have had better fare in street cafes up the road for half the price.
What was missing was the wow factor where you could have authentic home cooked meals - ones that where you where invited to have dinner with Asian people they would cook delicious meals that are not dumbed down for the public. That’s the experience I was looking for but sadly disappointed as the ambience was lovely.
Second visit, beautiful food and great value
Recommend the green chicken curry
We had a yummy meal, lots of variety on the menu. Delicious variety of dumplings, crunchy spring rolls. Tasty red duck curry. Seafood in XO sauce was yummy. Loved the sticky rice. Too full for dessert.
Thoroughly enjoyed, we will be back! Loved the food and ambience.
Disappointing food. Dumplings were very average, duck curry watery and lacked flavour. Rice was gluggy ( always a concern if an Asian restaurant can’t cook decent rice). However the service was warm and friendly and the setting is good.
The food was sensational and the service was great as well
I think it is more a daytime venue, loud music ,bright lights and colourful decoration. Maybe for younger crew? Food was delish and large portions
Absolutely delicious 😋 Vegetable dumplings & the Angus Beef rice paper rolls for starters where perfect. Curry Duck & Rice 🍚 for main. Definitely will be back next time we are in Katoomba
I was looking forward to trying this place out.
The kaffir lime chicken I had ordered had no flavour, the sticky rice cakes were nice, but all I could taste was the thigh chicken. I expected heaps of different herb flavours. Should have gone with the Pho. But it’s to be expected since this isn’t Sydney.
The place was quiet, which was nice. And the hostess was great, she insisted I take a complimentary dessert with me, which was delicious.
A nice location to have a glass of wine and some dumplings. The seafood with XO sauce was pretty average and needed some sort of seasoning. The staff were attentive and did their best during a busy lunch service.
What a wonderful find! The decor is stunning. The menu is beautiful. We chose cocktails for our drinks. The Red Lotus is magnificent! The pork bun for entree was beautiful and the Thai green curry out of this world! A truly special experience. We'll be back!
The dumplings were the best I have ever had, the service was amazing and the venue itself was beautifully decorated and very quirky. Have already recommended to several people!
The salad we had was a bit boring but the rest of the food was very enjoyable.
A little hard to find
First time at Miss Lilian and really enjoyed the whole experience - ambience, decor, service, food - all fabulous.
Fabulous food! Wonderful and surprising combinations of flavours that were magnificent! The desserts were to die for, and rounded off the meal beautifully.
There were a group of 29 of us and the food and service were great! Love this place!
Excellent food in a beautiful setting complemented by wonderful attentive service at a very reasonable price, nothing more to wish for.
