Love love LOVE Mister C's Bar Room! The ambiance is dark and intimate. Our server was awesome and attentive to my crazy crew and everyone who works there made us feel welcome. The small bites and drinks were delicious. There wasn't a single complaint from anyone in the group. We were there to celebrate a couple birthdays before heading out for the evening and this was the perfect spot! Great for groups (or date night). Bottle service available.

Not a dining experience as listed. Just a nightclub

Oh Mister C... this was a disaster. A group of 4 of us went last night to what I believe was one of their first “Pearl” nights with $1 oysters. We have been to Akira a few times, and loved it, so we thought this would be great as well. We were so so wrong. It felt like discount night at a bad bar- definitely not up to the standards of the hotel and their other restaurants. We arrived and ordered wine and 36 oysters. A group of 4 of us were given a single oyster fork. When we asked for more forks, we were told they had run out! We asked for lemons for our sparkling water- only two of us got lemon. Many of the oysters were questionable and were inedible/ tiny/fallen out of their shell. The wine was served warm. We had to laugh at how bad it was! But we were hungry, so we ordered sushi, knowing that Akira has great food. But the waitress did not clear our oyster shells and dirty plates until we asked her to (after clearly running out of space on the small cocktail table). She brought back only 3 plates, and a single bowl of soy sauce- again, for 4 people. She even at one point mixed the wines, from two different types. We needed to ask for more sauce, new napkins, more water... every step of this dinner required instruction and many requests. There’s many other “buck a shuck” nights in Toronto- we would never go back to this one.

The food was good, although we had to wait a long time for it. Kudos to the bar, though, for giving us 50 per cent off because of that The music was loud, at times inordinately so - but it was quickly turned down again. Location is great.
