Mo Diner is found on Mayfair’s Heddon Street, right next door to its sibling Momo. It’s been billed as Momo’s ‘playful cousin’ and offers a novel twist on the American diner. The restaurant is kitted out like a 1930s US diner, but with Mediterranean touches. That means you can expect cosy booths and a dining counter, but mixed in with a palm-print ceiling, bright yellow Moroccan tiles.
You are more than welcome to join us and try our latest addition to the Momo family, Mo Diner.

Not a bad place to spend an afternoon, the staff were attentive and nice. Food was of a reasonable quality but the portion was tiny for the price. we paid £115 for 6 cocktails and a small burgle and something else. That was my only gripe. Id find somewhere cheaper normally but we were essentially railroaded by the Covid conditions around drinking and meals etc.
Lovely place to go for lunch with friends. The outdoor seating makes you feel like you’re on holiday!
Birthday weekend in London . Read review on Sunday times . Lived up to expectations
Excellent evening out, friendly and helpful staff, good vibes, great food.
The food was wonderful at this brightly lit diner , I love the look the tables are all booths which is nice but it is a narrow restaurant so we did feel a bit cramped.
We loved every dish and our favourites were the lamb burger , the duck confit , the potatoes were wonderful and a gorgeous salad similar to tabouleh. We had a wonderful warming margarita drink which was spicy and gorgeous.
Delicious - if a little steep in price for portions. Tapas style but not exactly to share.
Amazing service
The lentil salad was stand out, as was the giros. Great sauces
Beautiful surroundings
It's the best tonic for a cold, grey day like a dose of Miami sunshine. The staff are relaxed, friendly, efficient and welcoming. The food is fab with lots of interesting flavours and just the right size. We can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu!
Great food, interesting and fun place. Definitely go back.
It was average, not sure if I’d return. Disappointing as Momo is so good.
Delicious food and delicious morrocan tea. A lovely morrocan spin on English tea.
The food is only one round, plenty of sweet stuff but would have preferred more savoury food as the sanwhices are great.
We had an excellent tea at Momo. Everything was fresh, the scones were some of the best I have had at a tea. The sandwiches were larger than what you see at other establishments - and the restaurant itself is gorgeous. Definitely want to try dinner there!
The afternoon tea was better when it was in the side bit of the restaurant. The decor was better and it felt authentic. An Algerian man would bring out the tea and the hospitality was great. The atmosphere is not the same.
Definitely one of the best I tried so far.
Original way to present the afternoon tea.
The portion were just perfect as per the timing.
The tea was very good as well.
The restaurant change the inside arrangement and this is very nice but we are still very close to our neighbors
Enjoyable service. Will definitely come back
The ambience, food, decor etc. was lovely however it was ruined once we received the bill. We ordered the £32 afternoon tea but were actually charged £37 each. There was nowhere this was written that we would have to pay extra and the bill didn't really explain it other than showing we paid an extra £1 for a glass of tap water each too (ridiculous!). This is the first time I have experienced this for an afternoon tea and the price they state on their website should be what stands. We did not ask for anything extra, the teas were all within the set menu and we had no alcohol. Can someone explain why each person had to pay an additional £5?
We had a lovely time at afternoon tea! Everything was excellent- drinks, food, service, and ambiance! We will definitely be back!
Me and my friends loved it. Especially the service provided by waitress Amina was superb. Would highly recommend.
Service was absolutely terrible, host was rude, server was late and absent minded, spilled a whole cup of hot tea on me and didn’t even offer to take it off the bill. There were countless people standing around while diners like us waited for service. I will never go back.
One of the best Afternoon Tea I've been to. Every bite was delicious. Very different to the usual.
Wonderful afternoon tea at MoMo. Delicious cakes and scones. The service was excellent. Highly recommend
The food was one of the best afternoon teas I have ever had, the cakes were sublime! However being sat next to a side door, which was constantly left open to allow a freezing draught in was not relaxing, asking three times for our tea was not impressive and worst of all being told we couldn’t take any left over cake away with us “just sit there until you can fit it in!” was probably the worst part of the service! Seriously Momo - sort out your staff’s attitude
Really nice place. Great service and very tasty good.
Tea reservation at 1:30, arrived at 1:20...an hour later still nothing. A large group arrived much later and served before but was not told or given any explanation. We walked out. The place was not even busy.
The food was delicious however our experience was let down by the unattentive service.. Given that the restaurant was barely 25% capacity this was disappointing. Had to repeatedly request items (of course the bill was prompt!)
I was disappointed with the service. Booked afternoon tea for friends birthday at 2.30 pm. Didnt have our afternoon tea served until near to 4 despite there were only one other table (with 3 ppl) at the time!! Had to ask for tea refill every single time! as well as refill for water. Staff were not proactive at all ie need to ask for basic things like small spoon. In addition there was loud noice came from the pantry (this is within the dining area) - i assume their stuff were preparing food for dinner while we were dining , hence not being considered that there are still guests dining in. On top of all no one bother coming to ask how was everything until we were leaving. Very poor service at a fine dining place.
Beautiful food, afternoon tea with a bit of a moroccan twist, particularly excellent victoria sponge and the service was attentive without being ott.
