MOMO RESTAURANT, BAR & LOUNGE
This is my second time at this restaurant and it has never disappointed. However, I would like if their music was a touch quieter. Outside that, it is a must visit when in Amsterdam.
Awesome Japanese inspired food. Wasabi was graded from the root at our table. Everything super fresh. One of the best meals of my life.
We hadden een familie diner wegens een verjaardag. Prachtig restaurant met prima eten , wel behoorlijk aan de prijs
We had an Amazing night there!! Best food!! Thank you MOMO
Our waiter was really nice, the food was amazing. Thanks!
We came with expectations that were too high. We took the different surprise menu’s. Some of the dishes were very good others were averaged in quality. Next time I would order à la carte. The high prices à la carte withhold me to choose them. Overall the price/quality is overrated. We spent 210€ and didn’t came home with a wow feeling. In the middle of the diner they dimmed the lights, and it was very noisy. I often go to the better restaurants, all I can say is that it was good but not wow. To end positive, the service was great and they gave an interesting explanation with every dish.
Very loud and hectic. Restrooms under construction. A bit slow service, specially after food serving.
Wir waren für einen schönen Lunch im Momo! Essen und Ambiente sind einfach unübertroffen!!
Service was bad. Food was mediocre, definitely not worth the price tag.
The food was unreal, and the service was great. 10/10 experience.
Great food and friendly staff. Will be visiting again. We are from the vegetarian menu.
I’ve been in Japanese restaurants in the Netherlands that serve really better Japanese food !! Got the impression that Cocktails were nearly as important as the food. Looking at the prices (very expensive) I got the impression that I was paying for over 25 waiters, barman and hostesses. Trendy is what they want to be.
Outstanding meal! The food was fantastic and the service excellent.
Amazing Fusion food combined with outstanding service from our waiter thanks
Champagne had to be replaced, flat. Overcooked shrimps and noodles. Overpriced.
Food was excellent, service was good but the waiters were often to quick with taking drinks/food from the table while we were not finished yet.
Great place great service food and ambiance ,not my first time ,rather on the more expensive range
Food was gorgeous, a lot of choice to choose from
Went for the black cod and the fillet of beef terryaki
Was delicious 😋
Our waiter Justin was such a lovely and nice guy! Thanks
If the service was good and the clientele as well, this would be a great place to eat and lounge.
Good interior design, good food, perfect spot.
Service: Slightly arrogant. Slow. Wrong serving (2 not ordered glasses, we thought from the house since there where only 8 people in the restaurant). Cleaning the table (too late) leaving it soaking wet.
Clientele: two people left and right, both alone (also slightly arrogantly) using face time and video on there mobile phones extremely loud without any notice of their ambiance.
Momo is a Nice place, music a little bit loud to have a normal conversation! Prices are a bit to high I think, its still a crowded place where tables are side a side, a bit more privacy for dining for 150 euro per person is appreciated. Service isn’t bad but to many different waiters for one table!
Amazing food. A special treat on a day of sightseeing in Amsterdam.
We had a great Dinner with the a party of 5 and received perfect service from the staff. The food was delicious and the recommendations spot on. Happy to return ...
Waiter was not good. Messed up our order a couple times. We won’t return.
Where do I start? The reason we booked MoMo was down to a recommendation from a business colleague who said that we would enjoy the experience as well as the food and I can honestly say he wasn't wrong.
After about 10 minutes of looking at the menu, my wife and I could not decide what to eat as there was so much that we liked to choose from and so we took the easy option by selecting (after discussion with the waiter) one of the 'sampler' menus and this is where our journey began.
I am not precise or descriptive enough to be able to get across to you the flavours and textures that the courses presented us with, but what I can tell you is that every course had been prepared to deliver an exceptionally pleasing visual and gustatory experience.
What seemed like simple dishes had some very complex tastes associated with them, tuna, caviar, wagyu, sea urchin, prawns, yellowtail, wasabi and tens of other ingredients all lead up to the finale tha was desert, we're still trying to list down all the flavours that we experienced.
for €99 you really couldn't go wrong, the food, service and ambience were all perfect for us.
When booking MoMo you haveto remember that you only get a two hour slot and that the tables are fairly compact so some of the intimacy can be lost (unless you request a booth). At the end of the meal we were sat having the last of our wine when the hostess came to us, reminded us of our time limit and asked if we'd leave as there were others waiting for the table. From where we were sat we could see that there was no one waiting and that nearby there must have been at least 4 empty tables for 2 and one for 4 avaialble. We drank up and asked for the bill, when the bill was delivered by the waiter who had served us all evening he apologised and said that there was actually no rush and that we could stay on, however, by this time we'd readied ourselves to leave, this took the edge off a perfect experience.
