Unbelievably slow and loud
Lovely restaurant hidden away from the craziness on Regent and Oxford street.
Perfect for a romantic evening! Food and service was just wondeful.
Lovely dinner full of ambiance and the food was excellent as was the service - will return
The service was excellent and the food, not bad. The noise level was terrific, though...
Momo has always been consistently our #1 London restaurant. The food is creative and incredibly delicious, with superlative table side service, in a exotic atmosphere.
Loved the atmosphere and the staff were great and very welcoming. The food was amazing. Would defo go again.
Been to momo a few times ! The service has improved so much which is great to see
Great food, service and vibes ! A bit overpriced though
But will def go back again :-)
Super restaurant il faut y aller
Le couscous est délicieux; décor magnifique serveur au top
Excellent ethnic food in a cosy street off Regent Street.
Really underwhelming experience. Service was slack, had to wait 30 minutes for the bill after repeatedly asking and the meal was, frankly, dull.
Staff were continually asking if we wanted to order drinks, food, desserts, coffee and is everything OK etc etc etc but when it came to bringing the bill that took 10mins. Mezze for 2 was good. Beef tagine was burnt and over 50%fat. The beef was sent back and the staff were kind to offer something else and the lentil soup that replaced the beef was delicious. Vegetable tagine was only sliced carrots with a few edemame beans, tsp of passion fruit and 1/2 tbsp of more carrots but this time pureéd, it was tasteless except for the passion fruit which I could have bought myself and opened to experience the taste. The meat cous cous dish was large and OK with the one sausage being the best bit.
The music was so loud and penetrating we had to ask for it to be turned down but still found us shouting at each other. The music was fine at the beginning of the night but was turned up as the restaurant emptied which is just a terrible experience for customers who are still in the restaurant. Drinks (2 cocktails and bottle of Italian red) were fine, rose tea was very tasty and probably the best thing that we ordered.
Total price £197 for very loud, below average food and service that was continually interrupting our evening was not value for money. I'm so glad I was with good friends as they were the only thing that made the evening good.
If anyone asks me about Momo, I'll say stay away, far away.
Good food and fantastic team. Helpful and friendly. Will be going back soon again.
Relatively over-priced middle-Eastern food of average quality. In spite of their website showing large Sunday menu, they only had a small selection, with little choice for children.
Fantastic atmosphere and gorgeous, authentic decor. Food was really fantastic, both in terms of taste and presentation.
Service was faultless, with staff very kind. We were a large party of 9 and everything was excellent. We arrived early and were informed that food may take longer to arrive (it didn't) but nonetheless they offered us complimentary dessert to make up for this which was very kind.
Always a great place to have dinner!
It was disappointing when they bring us the bill without us asking for that and the restaurant was not full. Then they asked us how we would like to pay and we were not ready to pay and go yet.
Then they asked us if we had any coat and we didn't wish to leave ...
Basically they were looking for us to go and it was not full. We didn't like that at all
Too noisy .
They have changed the menu and lot thi authentic morrocan taste
Hadn't been to Momo in years! The food was out of this world and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only negative is that wine my the glass is quite stingy. Next time we'll order a bottle!
The service and the food were amazing!!! I’ll come back and I highly recommend
The staff was very friendly and good . I got a the wrong dish but they were swift in replacing it with the one I wanted . I loved the ambience and will be going back again . Loved it !
Monday I went there with my family for the last evening I had in London.
I'm so disappointed, the wine wasn't good, we didn't drinking, the waitress was annoying by us and when we asking for more information about the menu, she wasn't really happy to help us.
One waiter came and so we was disappointed, he tried to help us, thanks to him.
And the worst, it was the food, we took mono couscous at 30 pounds and we had 4 pieces of meat (one of each), few vegetables , I share with my family...
In the end, we are all still hungry.
The manager saw we had some problems but he never came for found a solution for the wine or to be apologies.
So this restaurant its just expensive for have a bad experience..
bad value for money, noisy and no intimacy BUT very good food
Real pity that the service was so poor (took us forever to be served), as the food is amazing but the poor service ruined it.
I've visited Momo's for 6 years and the food has never disappointed.
The big negative in the night was the waiter tried to charge us for 4 main course for a meal for 2. In such a good resturant, this kind of mistake does NOT happen. When your waiter tries to rip you off, it takes the shine off superb cooking.
Great ambiance, happening, eccentric decor and great music.
Fantastic food and fabulous ambience! Our waiter and the chef went over and above to make our lunch experience completely memorable!
Not my first time and hopefully not the last.. everything is perfect except if they make the music louder to overtake the peoples noise.
Great but needs more organization. I'd requested shisha from my booking & waited an hour after food for a table for shisha, only to be told that there wasn't going to be one.
Enjoy our dinner very much! Will definitely come back again.
Ambiance très agréable pastilla parfaite service chalereux
The restaurant has nice authentic interior. Basically this is the best part of the restaurant. Food was good. The table was not comfortable and too small for 3 people, the dishes and plates hardly fit on the table.
Service was bad, the waiter was very oblivious and superficial, everything he could say about dishes and wines on the menu was "very good and nice". Also, don't bring those postcards for the clients if you don't don't the story behind, it looks very unprofessional.
Great location and great for night life too downstairs, food excellent but service a bit patchy for some reason. No shortage of staff?
We had the most magical night. Will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you.
Amazing as always. Absolutely delicious lamb shoulder
Impressed with decor and lighting. Big restaurant and only 3 tables being used (Saturday lunchtime). Lots of staff walking around. However - we had to get their attention to be served! Very expensive restaurant and therefore we expected to have good service. Beautiful interior, food not bad but very expensive. Won’t be going there again.
Disappointing on many levels. The menu didn't quite feel authentic enough (especially the starters). The food itself was OK, but nothing to write home about. Above all, the place was incredibly noisy with loud music and other diners at some point making the meal rather unbearable and not allowing for any conversation to take place.
Très beau restaurant dans un charmant passage d Oxford Street - cadre cosy et chaleureux, service au top, et tagines divins.
The meanu isn’t very big at all so worth having a look at there website
Drinks were good
Waiting abit for shisha but didn’t mind to wait in the tea room
I would deffo return
Dining at Momo is an experience by itself. Always leaving feeling happy & full.
