Amazing food, amazing service. No doubt I'll be coming back soon.

Simple little place. Patio doors were open so it was nice to have some fresh air, it was a nice evening, gave you the feeling to be somewhat a little outdoors.
They do have a terrace but maybe a little to chilly that evening to sit out.
Lights were bright but we mentionned it and they lowered it right away, making it much cozier.
Waiter was great, wonderful service.
Food was good. I had Gnocchi and my husband the risotto.
Both were good but we ended up switching :) We prefered each others dish...Risotto to me out of this world!!
From pics on the web we expected a fancier resto, it's a little simple place but good food..

Food was excellent. Enjoyed the Caesar salad. I had braised beef ravioli which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the beef tenderloin. It too was cooked to perfection, medium rare and nicely seasoned. We shared the “bomb”, peanut butter and caramel ice cream treat. My only disappointment was being seated at a table by the window which was a bit tight—quite possibly because we booked a 6:00pm seating shortly after 5:00pm. Another couple came in after us, had a lovely spacious (3person) table behind us and left before we did around 7:45. If this were to happen again we would probably not return. We don’t want to be penalized for booking through Open Table.

Excellent ambiance, the staff was friendly and the service was great. However, the food was average at best.

Overall 4/5 good food and atmosphere. Ran out of item I wanted and forgot to bring drink ordered. Nothing major and doesn’t reflect how much I enjoyed it.

Me and my GF had dinner here Friday night. The food was great but one of my scallops was under cooked.

The ambiance and service was fantastic. Small, quiet restaurant and very charming. Excellent for a date night, special occasion or quiet business meeting.

Longtime Mondello customer. Always amazing food except this last visit. Four out of six people in our party left very disappointed in the taste and quality of their mains. Underseasoned and microwaved were a few of the comments. To make matters worse, rather than apologize for the quality, the manager had excuses for each problem. Very disappointing. With so many other nearby Italian options, we won't be going back.

We asked to be seated near the front window and it was confirmed back in late October. When we arrived we where seated between two large parties. We were a party of six and this was the fifth year we have come here for our celebration. I have been here many times other then times. I would recommend Mondello but would share my experience. The food and service was very good.

First time at Mondello's and definitely wont be the last. We celebrated a friends birthday and everything was spot on, from the host that politely greeted us at the front and took our jackets to the waiter that served us.
For a Tuesday the restaurant was fairly busy but you can tell that everyone working was there to make your dining experience a pleasant one. They were constantly communicating and helping each other out.
The food was delicious, they had an excellent choice of traditional Italian cuisine that brought memories of our trip to Italy 5 yrs ago.

I will definitely recommend Mondello's to all my friends and family.

We will be coming back soon.

We came for a birthday and have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile now. Most of us were really disappointed with our meals. We shared the Mondello platter and the Arancini was cold inside, no sauce for the calamari, nothing was very hot on the plate that was meant to be hot. When ordering the meals they were out of items (we had an early reservation so no excuse for this), everyone in the group complained of a lack of seasoning in their meals. The butternut squash gnocchi didn’t taste like butternut squash at all. Overall, we were very disappointed with the experience.

Wonderful food and great service. The specials were unique and tasty, and the core menu continued to be fantastic. Would go back again and again.

I come here whenever I’m in the area specially for the bruschetta and free range chicken dish. I was disappointed soon arrival to learn they had done away with the chicken dish. The chicken parmigiana they now have instead wasn’t anything special unfortunately.

Not outstanding dishes, not outstanding service, very noisy, not cozy at all. I didn't like it.

Best part of our visit was our server/host. Super polite, helpful, always smiling. He took our experience to the next level.

In my opinion, the food was only okay - it was fresh and cooked well but definitely lacking much flavour. If you don't mind bland taste, it'll be fine. My mum got the veggie pizza and is still talking about how great it was (she appreciated that the veggies were grilled first). Pasta is made fresh, pizza dough was soft and good.

Mother’s Day

Amazing food and great environment. Service could have been a touch more attentive, but overall, a great experience.

I’m still thinking about the salmon dish I ate. It was delicious! We all had different entrees and everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. The service was excellent - Seth as our host and other helpful hands. It was our first visit and we will definitely be returning.

We went on Valentine's Day so it was busier than usual and had a prix fixe menu. I'll be back on a regular night
