Enjoyed our visit to Montana’s ... The service was great ! Our server Sydney was GREAT she looked after all of our needs . My Wife and I both had the Smoked Ribs . I would have them again we will be back . I would recommend to friends and family ..

The service was awesome and the food was the best, just a point that my steak was overcooked so my wife traded with me because her steak was closer to our request. The server offered us free desert as compensation which was acceptable, thank you. We enjoyed the evening very much thanks.

My wife and I enjoyed our meal at Montana's. The food tasted really great. Its' presentation was appetizing and the portion size was more than adequate. The waitress was courteous and friendly at the same time. We really appreciated that Montana's has cushions on the booths and chairs which weren't present on the other times we attended at Montana's. The lack of cushioned seating was the reason we didn't frequent Montana's in the past. We now will attend the restaurant on more occasions because of the cushioned seating now available.

I used open table to make reservations. There were many available tables when we arrived and we still had to wait for them to clean a booth which I had requested.

My husband had to wait a long time for his beer. Our meals were satisfactory. We only go out to eat maybe four times a year and this experience was disappointing.

Found out that all fried food is fried in the same oil such as seafood or shellfish in same oil as all other foods such as wings, fries, onion rings etc. as is most things on the menu so the problem is I have a serious shellfish allergy and that made the choices very limited, even though I have eaten here many many times not knowing this till now and not having any previous issues to date that I am aware of, I am now very wary about future visits now this is in my head and will definitely reconsider my frequent visits. I was some what shocked to find this out after all this time but are hoping you may consider limiting some fryers to just shellfish as this could become a serious issue in the future plus I love your food and would like to know I can eat in confidence I am not going to die for a meal. Thank you.

I love Montanas. We don't go out for dinner very often, but when we do, it's Montanas.

We ordered appetizers they where served very efficiently, however after 3/4 bites our meals arrived . I ordered fajitas and they definitely where not sizzling like the menu says, I do believe they fried some peppers and o ions and put some chicken on top and that was it . No warm pan was used for the sizzle part.

First waitress was almost invisible, rarely saw her. Second waitress was 5 star. It’s the only reason I left a tip.

Valentine’s Day

Early reservation at 5 for 2 adults 3 kids. Wasn’t busy. Husband ordered all you can eat ribs. First rack showed up in a timely manner. Second rack took 45 mins to get to him, meanwhile the rest of the table was now finished including kids desserts. Was told by our waitress that she had spoke to the manager but no one came to speak to us. We were told it’s because the restaurant is busy why it took so long by our waitress. Restaurant was not busy. I ordered nachos. When they came chips were still dripping in grease and all the topping were piled in the center as if someone pick up a handful and plopped it in the center. I ended up taking it to go so I could fix it at home. Very disappointed. Most likely will not be returning.

We got to the restaurant on Saturday night at 6pm - luckily we booked via OpenTable because it was so busy! Food was fast and super yummy and our server was very nice. Thank you Montana’s Thunder Bay!

Brisket tocos was what I ordered ! Got over cooked brisket more like beef jerky! Warm beer to boot!

Food was great, service was great, I recall, had a great visit.

Our food was a bit overcooked but was still good. Will go back in the future.

Girls weekend

Our waitress was very accomodating and checked with us if all was satisfactory the food was
Excellent and the pricing was well within our budget my daughter had the steak special which
Came with desert an added bonus the noise level was okay we could easily talk without
Shouting at each other definitely will be back

Friends took me here for my birthday. Was great food and we could hear each other talk. The waitress did a great job also.

Our server was amazing! I had never tried the ribs before, and she was very knowledgeable about the different sauces and made great suggestions. The restaurant was pretty busy, but we didn't have to wait long to order, or to receive our dinner. Thank you for making our birthday celebration fun and eventful!

Had fun celebrating my wife's birthday over in Montanas. You guys are great. Thanks for the treat. You made my wife's day eventful with your special ice cream and songs.

Food portions were very small for the price. We tried to share the chicken showdown platter but had to order more food since it looked nothing like the photo.

Service was good and attentive however it seemed a long time to get our meal. Our 4 year old was becoming restless after over 45 minute wait for main course after we got our appetizer.

Meal was very good but service poor. I do not receive one side and server checked on us only mid meal when he was asked to bring it but he never did and was never near to remind. Noise level made it very difficult to hear him when he brought Bill and sought payment. Something was delivered to our table we did not request at least we didn’t think so. Not asked about needed more beverages or dessert.
This was a 75th BD but it was never recognized.

Travelling through with an 8 yr old grandson and took advantage of the kids eat free night.
Ended up being charged for his meal, an error on the server’s part which was corrected.
Did not appreciate the kids “special cocktail” menu given directly to our grandson without checking with us first.

The meal and service was great but the steak was a little under cooked but also tasty

We reserved a table at the bar but didn’t get the bar. We were not happy

We went for dinner on Labour Day weekend (party of 5) and we did not have a good experience. Our appetizer came quickly enough, but we had to wait over an hour for our meal. Our server told us that they were short staffed in the kitchen, all meals were slow, and the majority of the meals that night had come out cold. Although our server was apologetic and competent, it was out of her control. Until the staffing issues and quality control standards are improved, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My family and I were there on Wednesday at 6:30 for my son's bday. I'm sorry I don't remember our server's name, but he was great!!! We were sitting near the kitchen. Our apps n meal came at the same time and our server apologized, but no big deal. We also had a slight mistake with one of our meals, but he quickly remedied that as well. It was a great meal and night out for us. Thank you to our server and to Montana's. we will definitely come back again!!
