About
The tables really are not big enough to seat five (which is the max number you are able to reserve for). It would be a squeeze for four, particularly when the food comes. The dining experience is uncomfortable (presumably so you are not encouraged to linger). My dad really struggled. The stools and table are very low indeed. That said, the food was tasty (if expensive). Barrafina better value for money and an all round more comfortable experience.
Excellent for tapas. Small tables very close to each other so not for a long relaxing evening but for a quick catch up with friends or super food really excellent.
Always amazing food here - only drawback is that it is always packed so can take a little while to get served. But the quality of the food makes up for this...
Amazing food and excellent service!
We were going to Sadlers Wells so a good nearby restaurant was what we wanted, and we got it.
Good...no....Fantastic food great sherry and wine.We enjoyed ourselves.
There are small plates and microscopic plates. Morito is in the Microscopic bracket - and massively over-priced for the amount of food.
Great tapas, loved the crispy aubergines in particular. Felt authentic and was excellent value.
Great little please! - Cramped but that is all part of the charm. dishes I tried were lovely and would defiantly go back to try more. Service was decent and I thought it was decent value for money, not cheap but you get what you pay for and this was great quality.
The food was delicious and unusual. Sitting at the counter we were able to watch the chef working at incredible speed to produce the fantastic dishes. The staff were genuinely pleasant and helpful.
Love the food but the tables are so small!
Service not as good as usual. Food good but bread now just flatbread which is a shame.
Excellent food and love the vibe in this restaurant. Brings me back to Spain when i'm having a meal here :)
The food at Morito is fresh and delicious, the service friendly and efficient. The next day, I made a second booking.
Delicious food as always. Never fails to impress. Fresh, tasty tapas.
Great food and drink. Small place and cosy gets busy but worth it .
Food was delicious! The service was outstanding - the waiter even told us we over-ordered and recommended us deselect 2 dishes based on the mix of the other plates we ordered. The food ended up being just perfect in quantity. They forgot one of our dishes, but they were nice about it and took it off the bill.
Second time here, excellent food, chairs extremely uncomfortable- they do not encourage one to linger...
always a good idea! I like to come back with friends
good food and nice atmosphere.
Fabulous tapas, great location, attentive staff, fast service. Can't wait to go again!!
Fantastic tapas, was with Spanish relatives and they said it was better than Spain!
Website made it look nicer than it was. Slow service. Expensive
We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying a lovely bite to eat.
Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Good selection of tasty small plates. Chocolate mousse dessert was amazing!
Great tapas- the chickpeas were amazing. We had quite a little table but the atmosphere was great.
Amazing tapas meal, food was incredible, especially the spiced lamb & flatbread. It’s a fairly tight space but the atmosphere was great so that made it easier. Will definitely be going back!
A good friend told me to come here for a no-frills, top-quality meal in a cute pedestrian area. The meal didn’t disappoint. I loved the atmosphere, very chill and casual. The staff is all beautiful. It’s a bit tight quarters and they do an amazing job of keeping the place organized. I was impressed by the cleanliness and tidiness of their production, which you could see from our table. Note that they have small wooden stools with no backs. I didn’t mind, I cared about the flavors which were on point. The jamón croquetas were my favorite part. Also loved the Octopus, which was expertly kept from being rubbery. Try the crispy aubergine with a sweet drizzle and yummy creamy/cheesy topping.
Too expensive / staff unfriendly / not a good experience
The portions were really really small. But the food was delicious.
My guests were bowled over by the food, and it is excellent value for money given the location. My only gripe is the uncomfortable stools, though I recognise that space is very tight.
Small cosy place for excellent Spanish cuisine. Tables are very close to each other, so you’ve got to be prepared to brush shoulder with the peeps at the next table.
Other than that, great food to share at great prices and the servers are really warm and friendly! Great flatbread and Dishes! Really good! 🤤
Excellent food as always, quick service and great beer
Love this place! Keep it the same!! Loved the wine selection.
A small, buzzing, tapas bar serving excellent, interesting and varied tapas - a combination of traditional and slightly different tapas, beautifully presented. I would definitely go there again.
Love Morito - the only down side was having to sit at bar when we had reserved. There were tables free and following us when we couldn’t be seated at table there were other twos who were seated there and seemingly hadn’t reserved .
I think portions have become very small and rather expensive. £8.50 for six asparagus on a place is a bit excessive.
Lovely food, and very attentive service. Cocktails a bit iffy and not cheap but overall a good place and I would happily go a second time.
All dishes we ordered were delicious. In future we would order a couple of dishes at a time as we didn’t realise they would all arrive at once. Also found the seats uncomfortable. Definitely a place for a quick fix rather than a lingering visit.
The quality of food is good, I'd order 3-4 tapas for 2 people if you're hungry. It can get noisy but it's part of the experience!
I love this place. Start with the gin marmalade cocktail and them order everything on the menu. Job done.
Very nice food, great place to enjoy a quiet dinner!
