Morito Exmouth Market
The quality of food is good, I'd order 3-4 tapas for 2 people if you're hungry. It can get noisy but it's part of the experience!
I love this place. Start with the gin marmalade cocktail and them order everything on the menu. Job done.
Very nice food, great place to enjoy a quiet dinner!
I absolutely love this place. Always delicious and inventive food, great service and atmosphere and a very good value!
A nice and easy place to have a meal with friends. Quite fast paced.
Really enjoyed the food which was excellent - especially as the vegetable dishes were varied and appetising and one of us was committed veggie so it was nice she had so much choice. The beetroot dish and the pork were especially good so I made them from your website at home for friends on Friday night. Loved the sherry we had with our cheese. Only problem were the small seats for more mature bottoms! The service was polite and friendly. Had just come back from Madrid and your dishes were so much more healthy and tasty than ones we had in Madrid.
Great food but pricey for the not very comfy seating.
Great food and service. Colleagues loved it - thanks
Great place and fantastic food. The sweet onion tortilla was the best I ever had. Friendly staff and the food was served real quick. Would definitely recommend it.
Lovely little bar. Perfect cosy atmosthere to catch up with good friends.
Croquetas, chicharrones and tetilla cheese were some of our favourites.
I had high expectations as I have the Moro cookbook and am a big fan of this kind of food, but I probably should have gone to the Moro restaurant next door to get a more comfortable setting and more menu choices, and perhaps higher quality food throughout. Our tapas dishes were mixed, some great, some disappointing. Good for a speedy tapas but not for a relaxed meal with friends.
Excellent food and beer as always
Top level food, buzzy atmosphere, lovely service as always.
Great pre-theatre snack before going to Sadlers Wells
Cosy venue, ideal for pre theatre meal with friends that you know really well!!
always enjoyable. good food and atmosphere. food came out really quickly this time. waiters were friendly. also very reasonably priced
Looking at pictures before we visited the place looked a bit grimy, but actually the ambiance when we were there was lovely and buzzy. We were all intrigued by the food, if not necessarily blown away by the flavours of all the dishes, and the value varies a lot between what you order - nobody is ever going to convince me that paying 6.50 for one croqueta is good value.
Incredibly delicious food - would 100% go back! The bar staff were also really good at making cocktail suggestions.
Fabulous food, great service. Perfect for pre-theatre meal
Delicious food, the deep fried aubergine a stand out dish.
Lovely food and great service, a true neighborhood gem.
Tasty food, limited space, efficient and friendly service
Very nice service and the tapas were really good. We only had vegetarian ones but we enjoyed all of them. The only dish that was not as good as the Rest was the Dessert.
Tasty Spanish tapas (although nothing exciting or imaginative), the place is casual in a good way, but lacks character, ambience and a personal touch. Good option for the area but nothing compared to Peckham’s brilliant Miss Tapas! Good for a friendly drink and bite but less so for a romantic evening.
This place is always great for lunch - sit at the bar or a table - the place is relaxed and the food always excellent. Great tapas - vegetarian dishes are delicious.
Fab food and service very reasonable price, a little cramped for 5 at the table.
We will certainly return the food was outstanding
Really delicious inventive tapas, lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!
Excellent food first and foremost. Each plate was superbly put together with refreshingly different tastes and because one of our party was vegan the dairy sauces and dips were presented on the side with no fuss at all. The service was both efficient friendly and fast. Thoroughly enjoyable !
Great tasty food! Loved the seasonal additions to the menu.
Great friendly service too
Morito is by far the best tapas restaurant in London. It is small but buzzing and the staff are universally friendly and attentive. Essential to book to avoid disappointment.
First time at Morito.
Quit an experience. The food was high standard however only one beer choice.
Friendly, one-off style and delicious food; lovely special place of real value.
Booked a table for a pre-theatre dinner. Food was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Tapas selection ideal for an early dinner and not too much before sitting in a warm theatre! Would definitely go again.
Brilliant as usual, this is one of my regular "go to" restaurants in London. It's a bit cramped and you have to ask if you prefer chairs to stools so they can get them from next door but it's always worth coming here; the food is excellent, always freshly prepared and perfectly seasoned and service is always friendly and knowledgeable. Outstanding dishes on this visit were octopus, anchovies and the ever reliable pork belly. For two of with 6 tapas and a bottle of house red wine the bill was £76 including service, very good value for this part of London.
Excellent food and friendly service!
Food is nice. But small portions and expensive for what you get. The service was awful. No explanation about the menu, waiters were constantly bumping into us (we were sat at the bar), plates were put next to us instead of in front of us, had to look for our own cutlery, waiters were not engaged with us. We paid the service charge but it was the first time in London that I actually thought it was not worth it.
Food was super delicious! Staff are nice enough but a little arrogant. Otherwise, love this place!
Fab food as always but the music was a bit too loud!
This is my 4th visit to Morito and it never disappoints. It's got a great atmosphere, with good service and my favourite dishes from the Morito cook book. The wine list isn't as extensive as Moro's but what they have is good. If you want comfort go to Moro as Morito has wooden stools and is cosy, but I love it.
Really good, tasty food and very good service. It’s very cramped and noisy - but it’s a tapas bar, so that’s to be expected.
