Morito Exmouth Market
Lovely food and great service, a true neighborhood gem.
Tasty food, limited space, efficient and friendly service
Very nice service and the tapas were really good. We only had vegetarian ones but we enjoyed all of them. The only dish that was not as good as the Rest was the Dessert.
Tasty Spanish tapas (although nothing exciting or imaginative), the place is casual in a good way, but lacks character, ambience and a personal touch. Good option for the area but nothing compared to Peckham’s brilliant Miss Tapas! Good for a friendly drink and bite but less so for a romantic evening.
This place is always great for lunch - sit at the bar or a table - the place is relaxed and the food always excellent. Great tapas - vegetarian dishes are delicious.
Fab food and service very reasonable price, a little cramped for 5 at the table.
We will certainly return the food was outstanding
Really delicious inventive tapas, lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!
Excellent food first and foremost. Each plate was superbly put together with refreshingly different tastes and because one of our party was vegan the dairy sauces and dips were presented on the side with no fuss at all. The service was both efficient friendly and fast. Thoroughly enjoyable !
Great tasty food! Loved the seasonal additions to the menu.
Great friendly service too
Morito is by far the best tapas restaurant in London. It is small but buzzing and the staff are universally friendly and attentive. Essential to book to avoid disappointment.
First time at Morito.
Quit an experience. The food was high standard however only one beer choice.
Friendly, one-off style and delicious food; lovely special place of real value.
Booked a table for a pre-theatre dinner. Food was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Tapas selection ideal for an early dinner and not too much before sitting in a warm theatre! Would definitely go again.
Brilliant as usual, this is one of my regular "go to" restaurants in London. It's a bit cramped and you have to ask if you prefer chairs to stools so they can get them from next door but it's always worth coming here; the food is excellent, always freshly prepared and perfectly seasoned and service is always friendly and knowledgeable. Outstanding dishes on this visit were octopus, anchovies and the ever reliable pork belly. For two of with 6 tapas and a bottle of house red wine the bill was £76 including service, very good value for this part of London.
Excellent food and friendly service!
Food is nice. But small portions and expensive for what you get. The service was awful. No explanation about the menu, waiters were constantly bumping into us (we were sat at the bar), plates were put next to us instead of in front of us, had to look for our own cutlery, waiters were not engaged with us. We paid the service charge but it was the first time in London that I actually thought it was not worth it.
Food was super delicious! Staff are nice enough but a little arrogant. Otherwise, love this place!
Fab food as always but the music was a bit too loud!
This is my 4th visit to Morito and it never disappoints. It's got a great atmosphere, with good service and my favourite dishes from the Morito cook book. The wine list isn't as extensive as Moro's but what they have is good. If you want comfort go to Moro as Morito has wooden stools and is cosy, but I love it.
Really good, tasty food and very good service. It’s very cramped and noisy - but it’s a tapas bar, so that’s to be expected.
Love and rate Moro and Morito but during this (birthday) visit at 2pm my two friends and I rather felt we were inconveniencing the staff while they were taking a break after the lunchtime rush. (We were the only customers.) Table service was intrusive and brusque, although the kitchen staff were lovely. Everything was, as ever, delicious but in portions that were small even for tapas, particularly the paltry serving of two minuscule salt cod croquetas. We took coffee over the road in Brill, where we were reminded what a difference friendly, welcoming service can make to your experience.
Just excellent. Service notably brilliant. Food delightful and delicious. Very busy but so efficient and polite. So good to see a reputation so richly deserved.
Fantastic, friendly staff. Great food reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.
I came from amsterdam, have been cooking from he Moro cookbooks for years. The food was lovely. I had lunch by myself which was fine (i was a bit worried before that that might be weird) anyway really enjoyed myself!
Good foodstop before heading onto a show, it anything service was a little too quick. Good wine with it. We were at the bar and found the ledge a bit too narrow to eat comfortably.
Even the noise, which is always fortissimo, can't spoil the wonderful food.
Nice food and great atmosphere. Good vegetarian options too!
Food is amazing - lots of options and enough to keep two veggies happy! Wine was nice, and we ordered a carafe also. Ambience was buzzy, and the staff were attentive. We sat at 2 high bar stools in the window by the door - I was happy with this, but might not be everyone's ideal seat. We did get offered a table in the restaurant mid-way through the meal though.
Absolutely delicious - from someone that usually doesn’t like tapas!
Love this place and particularly love its annual seafood festival, which we have now eaten at for the last 2 years. Definitely worth a visit, and then I always want to go back for the standard menu as well. I prefer this branch to the Hackney one, as it feels more like a tapas bar
Excellent food and friendly staff, a good choice of Spanish wines and sherry. On quibble is that we were a party of 5 and we were very squashed in on a small table but if a smaller party can thoroughly recommend .
Delicious! Very enjoyable food. When I was waiting for my friend and some of the staff were sharing a special hot chocolate they offered me a sip.
Freshly made, delicious plates of food to share. Was with veggie friend, so eschewed fish, flesh and fowl, and enjoyed every mouthful. Try the orange wines.....interesting, and previously out of my sphere of knowledge. And please, don’t all go at once, or I’ll not get a table..... check out their mother, Moro, next door, for the splendid restaurant experience.
Again, great food, one of the best tapas expierences I've ever had. Some dishes are a bit on the expensive side. We were there on a Saturday so it was really busy and sometimes it would take some time for dishes to arrive (one never even arrived). However we did get something extra because of a kitchen mistake so in the end we were still very satisfied.
This is a restaurant we felt immediately comfortable at. The atmosphere is relaxed, vibrant and especially speaks to young guests with high-quality culinary standards. We shared five tapas between the two of us for dinner and we enjoyed all of them. This is definitely a place we will come back to.
the cost performance is good. we really enjoyed the dinner.
As always had a super evening at Morito . Great food , atmosphere and service . We love it here!
The plaice dish could definitely be improved. I can’t quite recall the other dishes, think the lamb tapas was ok and the octopus with tomato tapas was good.
We had booked a table but as the third person in our group was running late we wanted to just start off with an aperitif and two tapas dishes at the bar, which at that point wasn’t busy, only one other couple was seated there. Staff were a bit funny about us wanting to sit by the bar until our friend arrived - I felt they could have been a bit more accommodating and flexible about that.
All in all, slightly overpriced and some tapas not up to scratch.
One of my favourite restaurants in London, tasty dishes, buzzy but laid back
Every single dish we ordered was delicious. Especially enjoyed the lamb and aubergine dishes. Service was great. Will definitely be visiting again!
