Moro at Habitas
By far one of the best restaurants in Tulum. For me the number one reazon its the food with perfect flavor, taste and flair; not forgething that the plase is just rigth on the Beach its unique so you Can enjoy a perfect bare foot luxury experience.
Everything special here, one of the best place in tulum.
The food and the service is this place is always guaranteed!
Very chill vibe with a nice ocean breeze. The steak was delicious as well as the grilled avocado and the beets.
It was ok food was too salty
Todo excelente! Una delicia y servicio de primera!
What an extraordinary evening. The meals were planned with great attention to detail, and executed very well. The kitchen staff were excited about their creations and it showed in the care and execution of some quite complex dishes. The flavors were rich and true to their origins. Fresh ingredients and plenty of options for all tastes. The wine list was a little steep, but the cocktails compensated by being creative, delicious, and reasonable. We attended a musical event following dinner which was the topper to the night. What a great atmosphere - think jungle meets beach with a bohemian elegance. Looking forward to another visit.
One of the other posts indicated the establishment is not kid friendly. I hope this is a mistake as the venue would be wonderful to share with children and allow them to also grow their appreciation for food and dining experiences.
Absolutely amazing. Loved. Cute quiet and amazing food.
We enjoyed a unique, fun, delicious new years eve dinner! Thanks Habitas Team for such a great experience
This is one of Tulum’s hidden gems - nestled near the beach at the Habitas hotel, everything from the inventive menu to the friendly and attentive service is perfect, not to mention the magical location.
Absolutely amazing! Great food and atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
The food was amazing and the server was so sweet but it took 40 min to even get water drinks and food but if was good
My one-star rating does not reflect the actual food, ambiance nor service of the restaurant, rather my inability to offer a positive review since we were turned away at the door when we arrived. While the restaurant (and the hotel) has every right to select its clientele, we were not informed before-hand that people (not sure what their pet policy is) under the age of 18 are not allowed to dine in their establishment. Therefore myself, my wife and our 11 year-old son had to make arrangements to dine elsewhere. I would recommend that in the "what to know before you go" section you clearly states that children are not welcome in your establishment, not even at lunch time. Saludos.
Just the best experience ever
Very kind staff, delicious food in a bohemian setting. Highly recommend the avocado & brie as a starter and the steak as a main is amazing!
Its allmoust imposible to find a dish that its not perfect in all ways possible. Having the oportunity to have perfect sand in your bare foot wille you dine its divine.
It was so amazing and eating dinner under the stars as you hear the waves crashing onto shore is something that couldn't be beat!
Altamente recomendable. Precios normales.
A unique and amazing restaurant, the mix off Morroco and Mexican flavors is a perfect option for Tulum.
Fantastic - They have an excellent staff and the food was delicious.
Vacation meal. Food is insane. Such a wonderful mix of flavors and hyperlocal ingredients.
The Best restaurant in Tulum!!!. The flavors and textures off all the dishes are perfect. The grilled Banana is amazing.
This was our best dinner in a year (las one was two star Michelin). The four dishes we ordered were conceived with audacity, local ingredients, Mexican traditions, and perfectly prepared. This is a huge creative step up from even the best tacos, empanadas, etc. On top of that our waiter Alexi, a local tulumnense, was very kind and helpful. More ambient light wouldn’t hurt, but the food, wow!!
Best restaurant in Tulum! Most underrated restaurant we went to.
Recomiendo el restaurante y el hotel en general. En recepción fueron encantadores, el sitio es ideal y el restaurante muy bueno. El servicio es muy bueno, que sorprendentemente no siempre es asi en tulum. Fueron muy amables.
Great food. Super cool place
We arrived by taxi with three adults and two children ages 10 and 12 with reservations made a t least a month ago. We were immediately told it was an adult only setting. I said that was not clearly visible on the website or I would not have booked. The man said I did not put down that I had two kids and if I had I would have known. Really? There is no option for kids on the Open Table booking- just how many people. He offered nothing, not even the name of a close by restaurant. I asked and the answer is, “I don’t know.” He did not offer to call a nearby restaurant to make up for the mistake, nor to refund our taxi fare or to callus a taxi back to our hotel (since he did not know of a restaurant that allowed kids?), He offered not even the slightest bit of an apology. We have had wonderful dinners and service at Gitano, Nu, and every other establishment we have eaten at on this trip. This has been the sole disappointment. The utter rudeness of the host staff was not what anyone would expect in Tulum. I would never recommend this establishment and will actively tell my friends not to go. There are so many fabulous restaurants in Tulum with amazing staff. This is not worth anyone’s time.
Gorgeous hotel and the bar/restaurant are just spectacular. The food was very good - not outstanding but very good.
Habitas is a beautiful hotel and the restaurant Moro is lovely! You can enjoy a seat at a table or sit on the ground on cushions. The food is delicious, combines new and interesting flavors and is well executed.
The restaurant is very cool with some tables you seat at the ground. All food is cooked in a wooden oven so it is very fresh and tasty.
Beautiful beautiful place and service couldn't be nicer. First, after having travelled all over Mexico, it is sad but true that the cuisine of the Yucatan is very so-so by comparison. Dishes were interestingly unusual, but perhaps just a little too.. (for example when could have been a perfect octopus dish was syrupy sweet) Our Argentine waiter was wonderful.
Why I would not go back: incessant trance music which was like fingernails on a blackboard for. Then they keep using incense pots--supposedly for ambiance. I choked throughout the meal. If I want incense, I'll go to church. I suspect I'm too old for New Age.
Absolutely amazing and relaxing! The food was amazing!!
Proposed to my girlfriend here and the team really hooked it up. I contacted them a few days in advance and they had everything set up for a private balcony dinner. Candles, champagne, music, ambiance. This is probably the best restaurant experience I've ever had! We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day to hang out at their beach club. We will be back!
Moro at Habitas was easily the best meal we had in Tulum. Whilst on the slightly pricier side, the food was incredible and worth the money. Burrata starter was to die for, as were both the Yucatan pig and prawn mains. Would 100% recommend
This place is amazing by eating at the restaurant you are treated as if you are a guest which was really nice the food was all really good and creative. Amazing service and beautiful atmosphere. For a meal and two drinks was about $100 so on the expensive side but very much worth it for the experience. Make a reservation then you feel better about knocking on the unmarked door clearly meant to discourage ppl from coming in off the street.
Absolutely loved it! The food was great, the ambiance was magical. I felt so relaxed while there because of the music and space design. There was a dj that played really chill viby stuff.
Amazing food, amazing service, and exceptional food.
Best place in Tulum. Magical setting with fabulous food. No techno music No crowds No rush
