Lunch (Sun) 12.00–3.00
Dinner (Mon–Sat) 5.15–10.45 (Sun) 5.00–9.45
Tapas served all day at the bar (Mon–Sat)
Have had great meals in the past at Moro. One of those restaurants were you fancy everything on the menu. This time though the menu felt very limited and the quality was definitely lacking. My lamb kebab main was £27 and was fine, but gastro pub level tbh. Real shame....
Greatest restaurant on planet earth!
4 of our party came earlier in the year for the special Moro anniversary; the other 2 of our party were coming for the first time. The food and service made the whole experience really enjoyable. Little extras like bread and water were replenished as required. Would recommend anyone who wanted something a little different from tapas and Mediterranean food should come. Booking essential.
Despite but probably because there was a limited choice on the menu the food was fabulous. What a shame the tables were so small that it spoilt the dining experience, the waiter had trouble finding space to put the dishes down and we all had to be careful not to knock anything off the table. Why??? There was plenty of space for larger tables without having to reduce the number of covers.
Absolutely great food and lovely lively ambiance. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be coming back
A little squashed in, but we moved tables with little fuss. Non alcoholic drinks selection was limited. But a great ambiance, fantastic service and lovely food.
I’ve been at Moro several times and I love the food but, they haven’t changed their dessert options for many years that’s why I gave 4*
We had a nice meal, but certainly not amazing for the cost! We had a children’s birthday party near us, which was quite loud. We had children with us too but but we certainly didn’t create the kind of noise they did!
Much prefer the cookbooks! I’d been dreaming of going to Moro for years too.
We'd been here before and, as usual, dinner was excellent. The service, however, was awful. When we could get our uppity waiter's attention, he (rudely) told one of our party who was there for a birthday to "try smiling." (She'd recently lost her mother.) This was after he put a candle in the dessert of someone else at the table which she was apparently supposed to enjoy extinguishing. We were perhaps unfortunate to encounter the one poor server there but the experience left us shy about returning.
Wonderful service. I had accidentally booked a counter seat and brought baby and pushchair along, and the maitre’d was incredibly helpful and found as a table. Service fantastic, food incredible. What a treat!
Interesting food, great service , extremely helpful staff. Going back next week.
Tasty well presented food in a informal environment with great service. Perfect relaxed spot to catch up with my friend for a long chat over a good bottle of wine. Service was professional but not intrusive, portion sizes were reasonable and the food was beautifully spiced. Would have been nice to have tried a few tapas but only available at the bar in the evenings which we didn’t realise when we booked.
I have been visiting Moro for some years and it never fails to disappoint. Friendly and efficient staff; very creative cooking; and a great place to relax and enjoy the happy atmosphere - fabulous!
Excellent meal! Having loved the cookbook for years, I finally got to try a few dishes cooked by the experts. (they do it pretty darn well!)
Overall it was an enjoyable meal with excellent food and good service. My issue is that the cost of the food and drink are overpriced and the restaurant itself lacks an immersive experience. There are many more restaurants in London were costs are similar but the experience is a lot more immersive, or where the food is equally good but less expensive and therefore I am less likely to return.
Excellent lunch with first class service. Amazing cocktails to start. Love this restaurant and just wish I lived closer.
Excellent food but a bit pricey.
Would be nice to have an option of a lighter lunch menu
I had booked this for a special occasion birthday as the menu is is outwith my price range and was really dissatisfied. I felt the food quality was below average and when you pay over £100 for a meal for 2 you expect a certain experience.
Alright really, but they do charge like the Light Brigade for what they provide. For example - mixed mezze at £17.50 or so is perfectly pleasant but more than three times what you wd pay in a Turkish place in Haringay for a dish that is as good in my view. I know there must be some difference to pay for the swish ambience, but not this much.
Superb food and delicious wine.....very friendly and enjoyable. A family birthday treat to remember!
The food was ok, but a bit hit or miss. Some dishes were really tasty, and others were quite basic for the price, I feel like something I could have made at home. The wine was excellent, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was lively, just a bit disappointed with the food. I thought it was quite expensive for what it was.
As always here, wonderful food, friendly, efficient service, good ambience.
disappointed with the fish meal extreme amount of bones in a filleted fish
Superb food. Very warm and very friendly servers. An overall very satisfying experience
Outstanding restaurant with a consistent record for producing excellent food and wine over many years.
The food at the restaurant is excellent and delicious and I will return
Great food and friendly service. Not too busy at lunch time which meant i could hear the converstions without having to lean forward all the time.
We had a business lunch at Moro and overall it was very pleasant with good service although the food was a little slow coming out.
I would recommend Moro to friends and family.
Lovely lunch with friends. Really good adventurous food cooked superbly. Interesting wine list.
Something for everyone, but my main course was one of the very best vegan dishes I have ever had.
Excellent food, all of the party would agree. Made late lunch booking. Would aim for a little earlier in future as we were only people left in restaurant 45 minutes after arrival. Felt a little awkward but that was probably our fault rather than moro’s. The food more than made up for it though!
Great food as usual would definitely recommend. Our main waitress was lovely but there was another one who could have bee friendlier.
Enjoyable meal. Had very tasty grilled lamb. Rosewater cardamom ice cream was delish.
Really lovely food and service. Thank you to all that made my birthday so wonderful.
I have been here several times with work colleagues and decided to treat my wife for a change! We went at 1:45 on a Saturday when the restaurant is a bit quieter. Moro is still lovely but to me it's not quite as good as it once was.
Our starters of chicharrones and scallops were extremely tasty, perfectly cooked and well seasoned but one scallop for £8.50 is ridiculous! The waitress had told told us beforehand "it's one large scallop or two smaller ones" which is fine but this was no more than one mouthful.
My main of roast hake was also perfect and the accompanying farika nicely flavoured with zaatar. My wife's pork belly was extremely tender but the crackling was a bit too chewy, not really crisp enough.
Desserts were fine, the yogurt "cake" is my perennial favourite but the chocolate and apricot tart had no discernible apricot!
At £100 for two with only one glass of cider they really need to raise their game.
Another wonderful visit to this fave . The food is always glorious and authentic and the atmosphere lively and fun . The waiters continue to be friendly and knowledgeable and their own people . And what a wine list !!!
Lovely neighbourhood place. Generous portions but quite overpriced
The chicken had a strange rubbery texture and I couldn’t eat half of it, the fried potatoes weren’t cooked enough and any crispy was made soggy from the gravy. The flavours though were lovely so I felt confused and ripped off by this dish fir £23. As was the vegan mezze for £17 just crudités and dip, though tasty not enough for the price. And to make it vegan it didn’t feel like the absent dairy items were substituted for sufficiently. Was really looking forward to this meal but also felt out of place with the clientele, my mistake for not researching enough but an expensive one. These prices are higher than average for me so I expect perfection for the money.
Authentic Iberian menu that goes so well with a selection of fortified wines and crusty bread baked in house. Go there before an evening at Sadler's Wells. The service is excellent. One of the best places to eat in London
Been coming to Moro for years - in every visit to London and brought family and friends in a number of occasions. Always try something different but always finish off with the delicious Malaga ice cream.
The food was bland . The sweetbreads has no flavor, the brill on lentils were all one note in texture and flavor. The poor waitresses looked miserable and were run off their feet. In the allotted time i had, 1.45 mins to be exact, I saw table after table being flipped. More like a factory than a lovely dining establishment.
