Morrissey's
Local, sustainable ingredients are transformed into remarkably creative dishes for breakfast, lunch & dinner seven days a week..and join us for our ever so popular brunch on the weekends in our stunningly designed conservatory.
John Morrissey gave up the ghost while sitting at the old Adelphi Hotel bar. We dedicate this establishment to his spirited history, and we think he'd have a damn good night here with us.

All was good, but the service was slow. Was going to see a movie and had to leave dessert uneaten because the mains took so long (almost an hour.) No excuse either as the place was practically empty.
Very nice ambiance, good service and food, varied menu, yummy cocktails.
Benny is amazing!
Ate there twice in two days. Dinner then breakfast. Dinner was outstanding. Everything from food to service from Benny was five star. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Food quality was less then dinner and service was less professional. Will definitely return for dinner but doubtful for breakfast.
We go to Morrissey's every Wednesday for our "date night". It never disappoints! Tim - the bar manager - is THE BEST!! If you have a chance sit at the bar to watch him concoct the most delicious cocktails!
This was probably the best sushi I have ever had!
Great environment overall. But very slow and unfriendly bar service. I understand if you’re busy at the bar. However, as a couple, we were 2 of 5 people at the bar and were neglected and were treated like we were just annoying. Food wasn’t prepared as requested (medium rare steak when asked for medium well). Also took so long for the bartender to check and see how our food was, that it was cold before he got to us.
To the host — be mindful of solo travelers. We have money to spend and would like the same “good seating” opportunities as you would accommodate a couple .
A wonderful experience..great food excellent service. Our waiter Mike was pleasant, professional, and friendly. The crab crepes was amazing! We will definitely be back.
Had dinner and cocktails here during a weekend getaway. The cocktail menu is amazing - MANY interesting selections and new twists on old themes. The food was excellent - I had spicy lobster linguine - perfect portion - and the sauce coated every noodle - SO GOOD! For dessert, I had the apple tart with ginger ice cream - again FANTASTIC!!! Our server Benny was excellent, friendly, helpful and caring. I will definitely return the next time I am in Saratoga!!!
Mike aka Bobby Flay made our evening so much fun chatting it up and really enjoyed the cap steak and filet Mignone and sushi and salads. It really is the best piece of meat I have ever eaten. The cocktails were also delicious. Can’t wait to be back in Saratoga to visit again.
My wife and I had dinner here on a Friday evening, and the experience was great! The food, service and atmosphere were terrific and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. My wife had a rack of lamb and I had braised short ribs and scallops. Both meals were delicious.
I got the mushroom crêpe which was delicious. Definitely a gourmet breakfast experience.
Delicious food and specialty drinks. Friendly staff
If you judge a restaurant on how well it accomplishes it goal, then Morrisseys unfortunately falls short. The food does not come close to the quality promised and thus limiting the value. Also, wrongly prepared food was not replaced, rather recooked and presented poorly. In the food city that is Saratoga, there is space for a higher end brunch restaurant. Unfortunately, Morrisseys fails to hit the mark.
A Valentines Day ripoff. Our 20 year old son and his girlfriend (college students) went to Morrissey’s for a special Valentines Day dinner. They paid $90 for a chicken (no sides) entree and $140 for a steak dinner. Both dinners were average at best. No prices on the menu..no mention by the waiter that this might be out of their league price wise. Really disappointed thought the restaurant would have had more class.
WE had a great experience-a little noisy and had a little too much traffic where we were! The food was excellent!
Beautiful space. Food was delicious. Our server was a bit overwhelmed and very rushed.
Got us right in, to the table I wanted. Service and food was great.
We had the sushi for lunch, it was outstanding , best north of NYC
We were the only diners. Very quiet. Could have used an extra cup of coffee.
The food was wonderful. The waitstaff was attentive. Service could have been a little quicker with cocktails. Will be back.
Excellent food and service . The chowder special was fantastic
Best Sushi in Saratoga. Fantastic cocktails.
It was amazing!!! Food was awesome
Great lunch, service and atmosphere
The staff is always stellar and the food is extra tasty. I, personally love the sushi but their new savory crab crepe was over the top yummy and delicious as well!
So glad we chose Morrissey's for lunch in Saratoga! The food was delicious, the drinks equally delicious and so creative, and the service professional and welcoming. The atrium was light and airy, with a high glass ceiling, making it a perfect indoor spot in this time of pandemic or any other time, hopefully in a virus-free future!
Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. It was a really nice family lunch!
Food was delicious. Tables were well spaced but all full - it was a holiday weekend so likely they were busier than they have been accustomed to. We sat in the atrium dining room which was lovely, but there were also two private dining "bubbles" out on the patio which could be fun for a special occasion.
Birthday getaway
Great service, great cuisine
Great ambiance and excellent service from staff. Will be going back again.
Ask to sit in the atrium for brunch and order the glazed donut appetizer and split it with someone you love. Also order a spicy Bloody Mary or, for sweet cocktails, a Meringue Royal.
Beautiful setting and delicious food. Would come again.
New Year’s Day breakfast. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is always good there. Nice table. Quiet. Coffee and crash OJ were perfect. Breakfast a bit disappointing. Nice thick bacon appeared to be deep fried. English muffin was cold. Potato cake side a bit unoriginal and appeared deep fried as well. For the price point and Morrissey’s past experiences a bit disappointing. We were enjoying our morning so no need to start off the New Year with a complaint to staff. We will go back. Just a few comments to think about. Happy New Year!!
Great food! Good service.
Gets better every time I go!
Food tasted great, but very small portions for an expensive price. Ordered scallops and shrimp and received, two scallops, two pieces of shrimp, one baby potato, and 2 TINY florets of broccoli that werent even big enough for a toddler. Taste was great, but for $30, I would expect maybe a few more baby potatoes and an actual size floret of broccoli. It would be nice if this was listed in the description of how many pieces are included for $30.
Service was pretty terrible. We ordered appetizers and received appetizer from a runner but waited an additional 15 minutes to get plates from our server to even begin to eat our appetizer. Server did not check on us frequently. Although, he did answer our questions about our menu - he didn't even come by to refill drinks in a timely fashion. We got there at 5:30PM and left around 8PM, mainly because service was extremely slow and we had to wait a long time to receive plates for our appetizers, more drinks, and even put a dessert order in. Even after we finished dinner, we waited 20 more minutes for our plates to be cleared.
We had high expectations for this place but probably won't even come back due to portion sizes, prices, and slow service. However, food was tasty for the limited amount we got.
We have been eating at this restaurant for several years. We where disappointed in the size of the portions.
The amount of sauce for the lobster bisque was a joke, no more than 4/5 tablespoons.
Otherwise the food, staff and the interior design was fine.
S.D.
Had Christmas Eve dinner they had special menu. 3 course excellent and plenty of choices. Great table right in front of Christmas tree. Waiter was excellent. Friendly and professional. Dinner was outstanding one of my best dining experiences
