Morso Abbey Road
Morso is a modern community-centred restaurant and bar, serving
hand-crafted fresh pasta and small plates of Italian bites alongside
innovative Grappa-based cocktails. We take inspiration from Italian
tradition but give all of our dishes a Morso twist. All of our food is
served in small portions allowing our guests to discover a variety of
styles in one meal. On the bar front, we chose Grappa as our champion
spirit. Distilled from wine pomace, Grappa is a superlative drink and
highly versatile. We use it in all of our cocktails, revisiting some old
classics, alongside our own house-potions. We invite you all to join us
for a meal and to take part in the #grapparevolution

Excellent food, excellent service. It was great to be back!
We had a lovely table outside - everything was delicious and, more importantly, safe for dining.
Very good food
Tasty dishes, great service - have been back after our first visit and will certainly do so again soon.
Absolutely amazing! Food was delicious. Staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable!
We have visited a few times and will def be returning for more.
Fab fab fab restaurant x
Love this little restaurant! Food was amazing, staffs were friendly, service was fast. Will definitely be coming back.
I didn't receive my free bottle of wine which was the only dissapointing thing about the evening.
We had a lovely evening with great food and wonderful drinks. Fantastic evening!
Lovely Italian restaurant with great service and delicious food. A little out of the way for me but it was worth going.
Really impressed and would thoroughly recommend. Unbelievable value.
A little salty on some of the dishes but generally an amazing meal with excellent grappa
Best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in London! Can’t wait to go back!
Poor quality tries too hard
It was my birthday and the staff made a huge effort to ensure o had a great time including a whistle stop tour of their pride and joy the Grappa range.
Food was amazing and I’d recommend this restaurant to anybody wanting great food and great service
The service and food are both excellent. Bit pricier than recent visits but still not too bad..
I came here with my boyfriend before going to a play at Hampstead Theatre. The service and food at Morso was excellent. We had a lovely warm welcome and felt immediately comfortable. My boyfriend started off by ordering one portion of arancini and then throughout the evening he ordered three more portions. He loved them so much and could have eaten even more. The staff were very funny and told him that was a normal for a first time visit. I was happy with the food too but ordered a mushroom gnocchi dish which was a bit rich and not as good as the others (unnecessary greedily from me). I will definitely recommend or return if I'm in the area.
Excellent food and very sweet, considerate, attentive (but not overly attentive) service. We are so lucky to have this place in the neighbourhood
As a Restaurant that claims to be specialists in fresh pasta I was hoping for more... We had 3 different pasta dishes and only the egg raviolo was delicious, however more butter and more than one single leaf of sage would be nice. The squid ink pasta with a handful of clams tasted bland, and was very greasy. Raghu pasta was average, some say too sweet.
Little bites we had were ok but not spectacular. Arrancini were a favourite, steak was alright. And the tuna with beans tasted like out of a can. I would expect more flavour for the high price tag per amount of food.
All in all I won’t be going back ...
My partner and I had a date night here.
The staff were lovely, attentive and the food was delicious! I’ve already recommended Morso to all my friends!
Love this place!
The food, the team, the grappa... It's all great :)
stunning food and brilliant service - super friendly!
Great food, great service and great company. We were in London for a girl’s weekend to celebrate Mum’s 60th Birthday. We could not fault the staff at Morso. They were so attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed our evening.
AMAZING- am a regular customer here as the food is just amazing, the staff are lovely and it's just a really great evening. Highly recommend.
Very lovely little italian restaurant. Excellent service... very good food... it was a lovely friday evening...
Great food - welcoming service and good value. Will definitely return
The food and service and lovely, lively young owners/waiters are all great and delicious. Rather noisy for oldies like us but that's my only niggle. Val
Love this restaurant-delicious food and fabulous staff
I love Morso. Food delicious. Home made ricotta yummy and everything very good. Grappa great. Service friendly and very good. Quite expensive. It’s one of my favourite places to go.
Thanks Morso a lovely evening.
The menu is rather small, but each dish we chose was very good. We are very happy to have such quality restaurant in our neighbourhood.
Perfect place , incredible service , top notch food , quality ingredients , very good selection of wines and Grappa ! Can’t wait to go back
A disgrace. I am italian and this is miles away from anything italian. Very poor food, below average pasta, and cold. They brought us a bottle of wine already opened by mistake at a nearby table, without telling anything. I had to tell them I saw what they did.
A jewel in a quieter part of St Johns Wood. Only if you know or have stumbled across it will you understand this.
I could have been back in Bologna. Need I say more....
Recommended by a friend my wife and I decided to try it for Sunday lunch.Obviously not your traditional English lunch but lots of wonderful small plates to start. Each of them was delicious. Full of flavour and really nicely presented.
Main courses were all pasta (Slightly disappointed about that) but the two dishes that my wife and I had were both excellent.
Wonderful friendly staff. We will definitely try it again during the week for dinner.
Fantastic restaurant, really high quality food and lovely place with local feel to it. Highly recommend
Fun and tasty Italian tapas starters (3 shared) and pasta mains each perfect for me, but perhaps my husband should have ordered a double pasta portion. 4 starters next time. Otherwise a lovely evening and perfect food, just love love love the arancini!
Really delicious food-very tasty
Great local restaurant with lovely service
Small plates to share-all delicious
A restaurant that genuinely believes in hospitality. The staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, beautifully balanced flavours, a small, well-chosen wine list and many, many grappa.
Very relaxed as always, even though they were quite busy. I’ve been several times before so know the menu quite well and enjoy all the food. There is not a huge range in food or wine (though an impressive selection of Grappa) but it is a small downside as the standard is always so good.
What a wonderful experience - the food is delicious and the staff are fantastic and so welcoming!
