Melt in your mouth filet mignon and amazing bread pudding! We also appreciated the strict covid safety protocols that were followed.

We did the recommended staycation, travelling within the province, to Niagara Falls from several hours out of town and this was our first night out since the pandemic started. We booked our table several weeks in advance and anticipated some wonderful food and a chance to enjoy a date night away from home. I don't think we could have been more disappointed! When we got Morton's, there was no table for us, in spite of our reservation, and we had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. Worse, the food was bad: we ordered medium rare steaks and they were actually raw. We pointed this out to our server who took them away. A few minutes later he also came and took away our button mushrooms and au gratin potatoes saying he would get us fresh ones. When he returned with the steaks, all that seemed to have been done to them is they were warmed up and then au jus was poured on them. Mine was still raw in the middle and the few bites that I had cut off previously but had not eaten were now pretty much black and sitting in liquid. I couldn't eat it. Our vegetables were brought back to our table some time after the steaks and it seemed clear to me that the mushrooms had been put in an oven since they were now partially burnt and wrinkly. We expected this date night dinner to be expensive but for the "meal" we got, the bill was astronomical. Neither of us had ever been to Morton's and we'd waited so long to have a date night - "disappointed" doesn't really cover how we felt when we left.
Very good food
The food was absolutely delicious! Our waiter was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. The only negative part would be that our steaks were undercooked to our liking. Everything else was great!
Food was very mediocre for the price. Steak had very little flavor and it was under cooked.
Great staff. They were able to provide a vegetarian option, which was very tasty. Onion bread was good. Very clean and safe. We did not feel rushed.
Found a bone in my chicken and nothing was offered other than that excellent

Service and food quality was top notch. They’re over priced and their price fixed menu for $149 is a joke. They up charge for everything. $16 for a plate of beans is outrageous. They charge $30 for a plate of pasta for my 10 year old.
The service was poor. The waiter serving our table was rude, and did not make any effort to explain/recommend about the food. It did not resemble any fine dining experience. The beef/steak was just ok. It is comparable to the beef from other high end steakhouse. I would not consider Morton Grille to be on par with other high-end steakhouse chain. It did not carry the service standard of the high-end steakhouse. It was a disappointment.
The service was great. The food was mediocre at best and very over priced. The Onion Egg Bread was very good.
We were staying in the hotel and celebrating my birthday so decided to dine at Morton's. They were taking steps to reduce the spread of Covid but it sort of detracted from the experience. Each time the server approached us we had to take our cloth napkins and hold them in front of our faces. It got tiring and seriously, knowing the science, I can't imagine how this would help.
The food was very good. As expected for a Morton's, very expensive.
We did wait and get a window table with a falls view, but as we had a better view from our room it wasn't very impressive. Also, if the leaves had still been on it would have been almost impossible to see the falls.
If you are a true carnivore maybe this is worth it for you but I didn't feel like I enjoyed it as much as it cost. Dinner for 2 with apps, a shared dessert and a cheap bottle of wine was $300 with tax, tip and local charge (?).

My only suggestion would be that instead of just having a baked potato as a side, it would be nice to have a bit of veg to accompany the other items. Overall, really loved our experience here and would recommend!
Food was only warm, it took a long time to get the food. The Keg's food is much better. The Key Lime pie was the best part of the meal. Once we did not pick the special for the day the line of service dropped. We do not drink wine, we came for the steak. We would not waste our money at Morton's again.
This restaurant is way over priced compared to any Morton’s I have been too. The steak was good both our baked potatoes were under cooked. Only response I got was sorry. There wine list is terrible and 4 times over priced. Asked to brink our own with a corkage fee, we’re told no. Thought that was illegal in Ontario. This clearly is not a good representation of Morton’s, they are excellent restaurants this one is a knock off that is overcharging the public. You should be ashamed of yourself!
Our steaks (fillet mignon) were excellent, as was the shrimp. Although the new COVID restrictions were a drag and affected the ambience, the meal itself was high grade.
Our waiter was not particularly engaged.
the largest disappointment was the only bottle of wine available on the prix fixe menu for 2 probably retails for $8.95 at the LCBO and made a very poor match for the quality of the food and degraded the entire meal.
Great place overall, great service, and great food
The service was great, the server was knowledgeable but the food was not very flavourful. It was quite expensive but that is to be expected in Niagara I suppose and the added taxes etc. Don't help thw total bill.

Went to Morton’s for my boyfriends birthday, we received personalized menus that had happy birthday at the top. We did the autumn dinner for 2 for $149 it’s a great deal! 2 apps, 2 meals, dessert and a botttle of wine.
Food was tasty and filling. Service was great, and we had a nice view of the falls.

I ordered the best possible steak and it was mediocre at best. The sides were way too large and were also mediocre. You are paying for fine dining and getting very mediocre food. I have no problem paying for good food but it was just not good, so as a result very overpriced. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We had requested a window table and one became available. However we were seated at a set of three tables which lacked any intimacy. What would it have taken to remove a table? We ordered the fall feast menu for $149.00. The beet salad was overly saturated with vinaigrette which overwhelmed everything in the salad. I brought attention to this but only an apology was given. It should have come off the bill. My filet was good but my partner’s steak was just okay. Presentation of main course was nonexistent. The dessert was plentiful to share. Honestly the whole experience was a true disappointment, no matter how much you pay. I expected fine dining at its best but was sorely disappointed. We don’t mind paying a good amount of money if the dining experience which includes atmosphere, nice linens, attention to detail and exquisitely prepared food, beautifully presented. All this was lacking.
Food was great and so were the portions. Staff was friendly. We went two nights in a row.
I was a little dissapointed. It was nothing like the Morton's in the USA. I expected white linen and better ambience for the money you are paying. Although our service was good, our steak was just ok. And the mashed potatoes were really tasteless. Did not get any vegetables on our plate except for the steak. I like fine dining and this was not it.

The food was good but not very warm, onion bread was excellent but Gluten Free bread was still frozen in the middle. Our server was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Would like to see more gluten free options on the menu or at least a symbol to indicate which dishes are gluten free.
Our waiter was very attentive without being overbearing. As it was my girlfriends 70th bday he brought a special dessert just for her, took her pic and put it in a frame. She felt pampered by him. Food was awesome, hot, fresh and the filet just melted in our mouths. Perfect place to make someone feel special.
Had the chicken piccata, was absolutely delicious!
Fantastic food, fantastic service. Absolutely no regrets with this restaurant. I felt bad for the way one of our party members was treating our waitress and will definitely be going back to make up for it with just my wife and I next time. It really was an amazing evening and I really want to thank the staff on the night of November 4th 2020 for such an amazing experience.

I was not impressed by the way we were treated upon arrival. Although we did have a view of the Falls, there was quite a chill...I had to eat with my winter coat wrapped around me. The food was okay. The only thing that was amazing was our server Mario. He was very attentive but not in our face during the meal. I hope Morton's realizes how wonderful he is.
