It was pretty chilly inside the restaurant. I needed to wear a sweater and usually I’m quite a warm person. The salmon was amazing. The fish tacos were a disappointment. Not a lot of fish or flavour. Cost versus quality was off. I expected much better quality food for the price and location. The waiter was outstanding. Very helpful. Visited often. The view was priceless. We loved looking at the falls while dining.
Fantastic window side view of the falls. The menu was diverse for all palates and we didn't feel rushed in the least. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it for a special occasion
The food does not warrant the cost. There is no accompaniment to the meal or garnish. Steak dinner was sub par steak was not cooked properly. The ceaser salad had almost no dressing. The baked potato tasted like it had been sitting for a long time or reheated multiple times
Excellent all around
Celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday. She was pleasantly surprised when she saw the menu with “Happy 50th Birthday “ our server Lisa was so pleasant and friendly made our experience happy. My wife and I were thrilled with the food , service and the I requested was perfect.
My partner and I stayed at the Marriott and went to Morton’s Grill for our anniversary. It was outstanding through and through. We got the autumnal 3 course meal with a bottle of wine included and it was delicious. The portions were great sizes, not too small. The wait staff were incredibly kind and helpful. When our dessert arrived the plate was decorated beautifully and had “happy anniversary” written on it, and our waiter took a picture of us and included it with the meal! All in all it was a romantic dinner right by the falls with a gorgeous view, delicious food and wonderful staff!
Best crab cakes I've ever had and the service was just as good of not better.
We LOVED our waitress Crystal. Please tell her the anniversary couple really appreciated the wine suggestions and we went to Niagara on the Lake because of her and had an amazing day solely because of her suggestion to go there and see the places she offered. Thank you so much!!
Great food. Exceptional service.
Service made the experience outstanding, food needs improvement. Really appreciated the server going the extra mile!
Very nice dinner, special treatment for anniversary was very much appreciated.
The restaurant was very nice and our server Mike was excellent however i felt that the food was way over priced .
If im paying 185 dollars i should get my steak with all of the toppings thrown in and my baked potatoe with all of the toppings .
And should at least come with a vegetableas well . But quality of food was good .
For what we got!
Steak was outstanding. Waitress was great. But manager was unwilling to meet my dietary needs. As in wouldn't sub out a potato for broccoli. In my opinion if your spending hundreds of dollars on a meal I think they can afford to give you some broccoli. So if your looking for a place that actually cares about their patrons this isn't it. Apparently they are so fancy that they matter more than the customer. Manager only "gave in" after my husband got loud and very upset. It didn't need to be that way. Hopefully this is an isolated experience.
We had superb time
All safety protocols were in place for covid
Food was amazing and table service top notch and friendly.
The food was very overpriced for what I got. I could have gone down the street, paid half of what I did for the same quality of food.
Our dinner was outstanding. The service by our waiter Mike was unbelievable. He took care of our every needs. Great place. Would recommend it highly and will probably visit again when in Niagara Falls again.
We chose Morton’s for our anniversary dinner. The ambiance was nice and our server was great. My husband ordered the 16oz ribeye which didn’t describe any sauce on the menu. It came tasting like it was soaked in maple syrup. Almost unbearable to eat. If we had known he would have asked for plain/no sauce but it didn’t say anything about that. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken breast. The chicken was good, but that salad dressing didn’t taste like Caesar dressing. More like blue cheese and was inedible. Disappointed in our choice for a special occasion.
Need to explain menu better.candle was not lit. Food was excellent big portions. Very friendly staff.
my husband and i enjoyed our dinner an visit very much an our server was amazing
pleasant dining experience, waitress was very courteous.
The overall experience was incredible - the service, the food, the atmosphere. If you have a chance to go - please do. And select different things off the menu, the chef team there is fantastic.
Steak we ordered was not very good and very overpriced
Seated behind a waiter station and waiters continued to block the view, lots of talking going on as they were not very busy (I would hold that table back)
Excellent- Our waiter David was fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Everything was lovely.. our only thought which l expressed to the manager is that some vegetable should be on the plate.. couple of carrots and broccoli.. presentation lacking, didn’t look appetizing but meat was great though. Our server was excellent!! Will definitely return !!
Very accommodating in providing alternatives to the menu charges to meet our special dietary needs. The Filet Mignon was prepared exactly as we requested. It was supurb!
This was fantastic. The double cheeseburger was the best I’ve ever eaten. Moist with the right sauce. Lovely spot to view the falls while enjoying a relaxing romantic dinner. It was a lovely anniversary 💕
As we were staying in the hotel this restaurant was our choice to dine rather than going out in the weather
Were able to get a window seat overlooking Niagara Falls. Ambience was great. Food was great. Service was great. Well worth the choice we made.
I heard very good things about Morton’s Grille so I decided to try it, however the service was terrible. I ordered my steak medium-well more on the well no pink was only able to take 3 bites because it was so pink it was 40 minutes before the waiter came back didn’t even apologize for it instead said he could put it back a bit which concerned me especially with COVID happening. I also said absolutely no bacon with anything as I do not eat it for religious purposes and my baked potato had a side of bacon that was brought to and left at my table. I would never go back here and would never recommend it. I had to pay $180.00 for 2 meals and all I ate was the dessert. Not worth it at all.
To my surprise food from this location is better than the one in downtown Toronto location - ordered Ribeye and Manhattan, tasted amazing and you can certainly tell the difference in favor between the two (believe it or not, a lot of generic restaurants over seasoned and you can't taste the difference between different parts). The only regret was we waited for a very long time for the dessert (apparently our chocolate cake exploded in the oven?!) and we have to rush back to Toronto, we switched to cheesecake and it's great also. Our server is excellent and attentive, will come back again next time when we are in Niagara Falls
When we got there as a walk-in we were told they were fully booked for the night; this was at around 8:30pm. We went back to our hotel and I decided to see if I could get a reservation; low and behold I was able to book for 9pm. We went back at our reservation time we were told there was a 30 minute wait. I asked why then was my reservation confirmed for 9, and they just shrugged their shoulders. Another couple came in while we were waiting and they were told they wouldn't have availability to seat them until 10. Why weren't we offered this option when we first came in - we were told they were fully booked! We told them we were going to leave and they said they would seat as soon as possible. We were eventually seated and it took another 15 minutes before anyone even came over to offer us water. The food was average and our server was pleasant when she did eventually make it over. Overall, I wasn't impressed and we won't be coming back there, even if we do stay at the Marriott Fallsview.
That was the best steak I’d ever had, and although it was pricey it was worth it. What wasn’t worth it was the terrible service provided from the hostess team. Do not bother showing up on time for your reservation, our reservation was at 8:15 and by the time we got our table is was nearly 9 o’clock. Not once did they inform me how much longer, and when I asked the answer provided was extremely rude. On the positive side our server was an angel and really turned the whole experience around for me and my boyfriend.
$55 steak was chewy. Quality of meat was well below Morton’s standards. I would not go back again. Also... I had a reservation.. but had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. Overall experience was negative.
Restaurant needs to update their AC, extremely hot..no air flow at all. Acoustics in place is horrible... very noisy when people where talking and couldn't hear our friends talk unless we talked louder.
Overall staff was good, food okay, but not happy with rest. Unfortunately will not go back due to no air flow and loud.
Celebrated our wedding anniversaries with my best and her husband and myself and my husband, Same wedding day 6 years apart. From the point of waited to be seated we received excellent service. Our waitress Anna was amazing!
Outstanding service and amazing food. Definitely will be returning in the future.
I know now why they do not list prices online. too overpriced and quality is low.the looks of this place is old and not inviting at all.
Some steaks were not cooked as asked.Good service. Good welcome
Could use more lighting was a little dark to read menu
Mike is excellent! Great service and great food!
