Got a steak but was charged separately for a side that was not explained during the order process. Steak was over cooked but was eatable. Chicken was dry and not tasty, bland.
Being more expensive than your American restaurants isn’t good business, it’s actually the opposite. I will not return to another Canadian location, way to over priced and $75 tax was obsered
Excellent! Mario our server was friendly & helpful and recommended a delicious local wine! Thank you 😊
The Price Fix Menu was excellent. The view was fantastic. The service was great!
The food was good, but service was awful...our waitress was very rude and didn’t bring half of the food we ordered before. Don’t think we’ll come back.
If you’re expecting a Morton’s experience, this is not for you. The view (if you get a table with one) is the only reason to dine here.
It was our engagement and they treated us well and the pre-fix menu was delicious.
The food was overpriced. The tuna poke was questionable. Our friend was sick immediately after dinner. The steaks were OK, but for a $70 pre-fixe filet, it should have been spot on. The waiter questioned 3 out of 5 of us when we said our steaks weren’t cooked as we ordered them. We all ordered medium-rare, and they were served closer to medium-well. He even pulled a flashlight out to prove to us they were cooked correctly.
The place was slow, and it took a good 30 mins to get the steaks out. When they did, they were over cooked. The baked potato was OK. Not really worthy. The desserts were giant, but didn’t taste great.
Overall, I wouldn’t go back.
Good food , service was outstanding!!!!!
Morton’s has a beautiful view of the falls and lovely staff that worked during dinner. The food portion sizes were quite large and a lot of could have been shared. The steaks were a little overpriced but we did enjoy them. We opted for the price fixe menu but it really was too much for both of us.
We were celebrating our recent engagement and when I booked on Open Table said we were celebrating a special occasion. None of the staff acknowledged it though, or asked what the occasion was, which made the experience less memorable.
Overall it was a good (but pricey) experience. I wouldn’t eat here very often but our server, Lisa, was very professional and knowledgeable about the menu and wine.
I was with my girlfriend and we had some bomb sex after so overall positive experience
Great food, excellent service and nice view of the falls
I have eaten at Morton's before and the food is always excellent. This particular location is a grill and doesn't offer the full fine dinning experience that I was expecting but it was still a great place to eat.
We had a wonderful meal and our server was amazing. We would recommended for sure.
It was my birthday and I really felt I had a good evening. The waitress was attentive without being overbearing. The food was great....very tasty, well presented.
Overall good food, but quite pricey.
There was a little issue with the order and we were not offered any compensation (we got regular fries instead of truffle Parmesan fries). We were told that we did not specify truffle fries when ordering (which was true), but we then realized truffle fries were the only one on the menu. We were charged the same price for the regular fries. Nothing major, but unfortunately these little disappointments can leave a bitter taste to the experience.
Very expensive for not receiving a full plate; when you order a steak, sides are extra! The steak was outstanding and one of the best I've had, so i would definitely order it again, but i feel a small side could be added to the dish for the price. The side double-baked potatoes were delicious.
Also - sparkling water was offered but we were not told it would cost extra. I thought it was complementary until an entire bottle was brought to the table. This is something to inform guests of, as most higher-end restaurants offer complimentary house-made sparkling water.
Also, alcoholic beverages were overpriced.
Food was good. A little overpriced though. Waitress was very nice.
We had an incredible time at this lovely restaurant 10/10 would recommend :)
It’s ok for a hotel Resturant. It is NOT a worth the cost or like a major steak house. It is their smaller version.
The worst thing is the hotel itself. The rooms, hallways, pool everything is dirty. This is shameful.
We had a fantastic experience. Our waitress Miriam was wonderful and very accomodating. The Prix Fixe menu is a great deal and the food was amazing. We stayed in the hotel and when they saw we were there for our anniversary they gave us a seat with a great view of the falls. I don’t have a single complaint.
I enjoyed our dinner
I found portions I overly generous
But I think when you are enjoying a nice meal in dining area music was loud and choice of music not great
Hard to talk to person
It good tasty
Server crystAl very pleasant
Everything was amazing! Food, service, atmosphere. Will definitely be back
Considering the Morton's brand name and the pitch of casual elegance, our experience last Saturday evening was below average. The steaks were good, but the rest of the food was average at best - except the buffalo chicken balls (they were good). The service for the wine was terrible - we were not shown the bottle at the table before it was open, then we were not given the option to taste the wine. After the server poured the first pour - we were left to put the rest ourselves. Also, we were dining with our 15 year old daughter and, as a minor, there were very few beverage options for her. So she stuck with water and there were a couple of times that we had empty water glasses for at least 10 minutes....Meanwhile, there were a couple of other tables that were receiving a lot of attention by the Restaurant Manager and other staff....For $100 per plate I would expect to feel more important to the team working there - we will not be dining at Morton's grille again.
Food was amazing and waitress was excellent what else can you ask for? Had to wait a while to cash out at bar before getting to our table once it was ready and they couldn’t transfer our drinks to our bill which was a little annoying. Otherwise great, steak was awesome and Mac and cheese was best I ever tasted. The bread you get before meal was awesome
We spent the weekend in Niagara. Dined at this restaurant on Friday night due to the convenient location inside our hotel. Came back Saturday night even though we had a multitude of other enticing options. The view is amazing, service was wonderful (Erin on Friday and Leesa on Saturday), and the food. Great steaks! The Mac and cheese and garlic green beans were so good. I really enjoyed the Bolognese. Good local wine selection, too.
Amazing food. Worth every dollar spent. Would go back to Niagara just for this restaurant.
The chef is extremely heavy handed with the salt. For the price, I would have expected a better cut of steak. The service was very quick, and friendly. Wine is sold by the bottle only.
Had an excellent time! Outstanding service from reception to leaving, our server, Leesa, was pleasant and completely customer focused.
Portions are very generous and the food was simply delicious.
We will be back!
Great spot. Our server Leesa F. Was fantastic. Great sense of humour, pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommend a visit
Very expensive for what you get
Server was very nice
Burned onion bun - it's low. Some wierd P.F. fee $15. WTF was that? Extra charge for side. Not worth that money. Just go the keg.
Atmosphere and view outstanding. Good service. Food very good but overpriced.
Food wasn’t bad but expected better for the price. The service was good and staff were pretty accommodating considering we made a few extra requests including a table switch.
This restaurant met our expectations. Food was very good. Service was very good. A little pricey but overall a good meal!
We were staying in the Marriott Fallsview and were planning on going to another restaurant but because of the weather we cancelled the other reservation and made one for here. Great idea as the ambiance was great. We sat in a booth with a view of the American Falls, but it got dark rather fast so the view was lights on the falls. Still a beauty though.
The steak I ordered, although it had a spice on it that was not on my favourite list, but was excellent in flavour and how it was cooked... Medium rare and tender. Can't ask for anything more. I had a baked potato that was warmed up, but even that was good. I am not a fan of the Keg's twice baked potato, but this one was not bad. Smothered it in butter and salt with bacon bits. Yummy!
Would we go back. Absolutely!
The view was spectacular, the ambience was comfortable and the staff was amazing. My steak was juicy and tasty, cooked just like I asked. I would definitely recommend Morton’s if your willing to spend a little more! Thank you to the staff at Morton’s for a memorable evening!
The whole experience was very good. We were seated at our reservation time, the waiter, Mike, was attentive but not bothersome and the food was served as we ordered it. We would return to this Morton's location again.
This was a Morton's Grille, not the full Morton's Steakhouse. The offerings looked reasonable, but the execution left a bit to be desired. We had a package at the hotel that gave us a $20 CDN coupon off your meal. We would not go back if this was not offered in the future.
I had an excellent New York strip. Perfectly cooked. The house Negroni was very good and the Key Lime pie' outstanding.
