Cajun Ribeye Steak
My food was not good Salmon was very bland and undercooked cream spinach was bland and garlic mash was bland I didn’t taste any garlic everything was under seasoned Highly disappointed
With is being restaurant week, service was extra slow. We got our entree after an hour wait.
Service was great at first until we switched and had a waitress who was not very attentive and it was not a lot of people in there. My friend ordered the creamy spinach which wasn’t great and definitely not warm at all, also lacked flavor.
Was not impressed food was bland steak was ordered medium and was charred.
Everything was so perfect the way my wife wanted it. THANK YOU!!!
Everything was perfect just my husband wasn’t a fan of the steak mignon but overall everything was perfect
The food was good as always but I forgot it was restaurant week...all in all everything was good.
I saw that Morton’s was participating in Restaurant Week and decided to give it a try. My steak and broccoli were seasoned very well. For my drink I ordered the blooming hibiscus and it was very delicious. I will definitely visit Morton’s again in the future.
Food is great , service is horrible . Very poor customer service !
Great food, awesome service. The drinks are over priced though
Great time for our anniversary. Going back again next year.
Ribeye steak was quite tasty. Salmon was also quite tasty, something that isn’t too easy to find this far from an ocean. Spinach and button mushroom side dish was flavorful and went well with both of our main courses. Drinks were fine; my local craft beer (IPA) was exactly as described, I.e. great.
We’ll be making it our go-to for special occasions in the city.
Food was ok. It came and hour and a half late. Pretty much rushed to eat the wait ruined our planned we had after dinner. Nothing was organized kept getting asked for a drink order while I waited on my food until we had to ask them to flag out stop. Definitely wasn’t worth the price.
The waitress was rude and dismissive. We waited 2 hours for cold food. We waited 35 mins to get water and drink orders taken. Waited another 35 mins for refill on water. Received Luke warm food and order was incorrect.
First night out after being quarantined was not a memorable dining experience. What a disappointment from an establishment I’ve dined at before. I had a reservation at 9:15pm. I arrived about 9:05pm and wasn’t seated until 9:35 ish. After asking for some type of accommodation for the wait, the manager who seated my party was fine with doing so. Fast forward to the food; I ordered a lobster tail and it was not appealing in taste. Presentation was there, but it had no flavor on the lobster or butter. Others at the table had add on lobster tails to their meals that were tasty... just not mine. After, complaining about the meal I was offered to make another selection. I ordered the shrimp scampi which was better. Overall experience was nice comparable to the choice of restaurant. I highly doubt I will be back to spend almost a $800 on food that doesn’t ignite my tastebuds.
Great food.. short staff! I never had an bad experience from them.. this was a first because they had an full house but not enough workers unfortunately.
Great food, great service, and an amazing wedge salad!
Amazing food! If you are looking for a nice night out, this is the place to go!
The dinner itself was amazing, but the staff was of poor quality. I’ve never had a restaurant ask for the table back at a certain time or give dirty looks until the bill is paid, not everything is about money. Regardless, the restaurant is recommendable but Chick- fil-a has better customer service skills.
always delicious with great service and a welcoming environment
Good food and great ambiance. The drinks are somewhat overpriced but would recommend the restaurant to a friend.
WRONG NAMES ON THE BIRTHDAY MENUS AND WHEN I ASKED THEM TO FIX IT THEY HAD A ATTITUDE. NOT ONLY DID THEY NOT BRING US THE CORRECT MENU’S WE HAD TO ASK FOR THEM GOING OUT THE DOOR. THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK SNEAKY NASTY ATTITUDE. I LOVED VEGAS MORTON STEAKHOUSE BETTER
The Shrimp scampi had no sauce, and the shrimp themselves were overdone and dry. The steak was more tender than the shrimp! The Mac n Cheese seemed to be missing both sauce and onion. The garlic mashed potatoes were of excellent consistency but very little garlic flavor. The steamed broccoli was neon bright with just a few bread crumbs thrown on top. The filet mignon was perfect. The pork chop was perfect. I used the truffle butter on the pasta and mashed potatoes just to make them palatable. The mouse desert was curiously dense for a mouse. The Moscow Mule had too much lime and not enough ginger beer. The waiter gave us EXCELLENT service and I blame none of this on him.
With all that’s going on during these unprecedented times I was as lenient as could be... I had a 7:00pm reservation. After being seated, my date and I literally waited about 25min before we were serviced, received water or had our orders taken..(I didn’t take it too personal because you “might’ve only had a few servers) but our waiter constantly checked on every one else around us bypassing us constantly... once he stopped to take our orders, he was very brief and started off nice but his energy shifted when I asked him to take back some Gouda mashed potatoes because they made me queasy. He took the dish with a very stern look on his face and never engaged or checked on us anymore until it was time to pay. I will say the MOD was very nice, courteous and attentive and the hostess at the front desk was absolutely amazing... very sweet and her energy was welcoming!
Very disappointing from lack of valet service (as
advertised), to poor seating choices, to not
very good food. The loss of the State Street
location should have summoned better care
of customers to increase business, not
A beautiful and satisfying experience.
Had a great meal at Morton's. Their Sea Bass is some of the best in the city.
This was our first visit to the Wacker Dr. Morton's since they closed the State St restaurant, where we have been going for more than 30 years. They moved our wine locker to the Wacker Dr location and made us feel like we had always been coming there.
Their wine list is terrific with may well known, great tasting wines. They have very knowledgeable wine captains who are egar to help you with a selection.
Don't hesitate to try this Morton's the nectime you are going out for dinner.
Good food but very lousy service for such a place.
Originally I went to the Morton’s in Schaumburg so good. So for my birthday I wanted to go to Martin’s and it happened to be right across the street from the hotel we were staying in downtown. The service was excellent. The restaurant was nice, well maintained and everyone was kind. My steak was just ok. I really really enjoyed the Cajun ribeye when I was at the Schaumburg location so I anticipated it being just as great but it really wasn’t unfortunately.
Food was amazing! Had a 8:30 reservation didn’t seat until 9:45 servers were terribly rude but male server did help afterwards when paying.
Unfortunately certain items were not on the menu due to COVID - no lamb chops. Food was decent, steaks may have been a bit under seasoned. The server could have been a bit more engaging; he seemed distracted, not very personable. But all in all a good experience.
As usual the food was amazing and the staff was friendly.
Everything was great. Wish the portions were bigger.
Lovely as usual. Perfect service, delicious steaks. Jumbo Asparagus was ok but the Gouda au gratin potatoes were great. Disappointed the soufflés were no longer available. Creme Brûlée was good but not really comparable to Morton’s famous soufflés.
We had a great experience. The bartender made it so enjoyable and was a great vibe.
Caesar salad not up to standards, miss the soufflés, steak order mixed up, expected better cocktails and service. Not worth what I paid.
Went to Ocean Prime the night before and it was five star on all levels. Suggest you benchmark your near by competitor.
The restaurant was fabulous as well as he food. The only disappointment was how other guest were dressed.
Wonderful food and service was top notch!
I loved the service from the front desk down to the server and the entire meal. The whole ambience of this place was lovely. it wasn't noisy and we never felt like we were forgotten because our server made sure to check on us from the appetizer down to the desert. We enjoyed our dinner and although there was not any other option for our little ones other than burgers and fries, we still loved every bit of it. great place for any occasion.
