Food is over priced and hyped had better food for a more reasonable price
French onion soup was delicious! Our server was very accommodating and helpful and food was great. Will go back here when in the area.
It was a wonderful New Year’s Day dinner with the family. The food were delish, the service was good nice people. The only thing i can say is that the lighting where we sat were a little bit on the dark side coz we have to use our phone flash light to read the menus other than that it was a wonderful experience. Thank you.
My porterhouse came with waaaay too much salt. Had to send it back. Morton's is one of my favorite restaurants but was disappointed with the food thus trip
Our server was incredible. My only complaint was that none of the food was hot when it came out, including app, soup, main, and sides. The food was good but room temperature or less than.
Thank you to everyone at Morton’s for making our friends Christmas amazing! The food was excellent but the attention we received from all of the staff was unequivocally amazing. Thank you and we will definitely be back.
Overall, the dinner was delicious. My husband and I loved the bacon wrapped scallops.
Excelente servicio, la comida deliciosa!
I was charged twice. My steak and my gf steak was cold. I won’t be back at all
The service was not very impressing, we had to make many attempts to get the waitress’ attention to servicing us. The steaks were kind of salty not meeting our expectation. Also the last refill of the coffees were very light…
Zero customer service. It is what it is.
Joey our waiter was great and attentive. We were on a tight dining schedule due to a showtime and he really took care of us. Food was great and environment was relaxing
The food and service there are no complaints. However it is not convenientor easy to access, specially for someone physically challenged.
Birthday dinner was awesome. Thank you
First, I want to say that the food is always excellent at Morton’s. I was a bit disappointed in the amount of time it took to be acknowledged after being seated. Once seated it took over 15 minutes for each round of drinks. Appetizer plates sat dirty and uncleared so that when the meal arrived it was a bit awkward Since there wasn’t much room to set the food down. I ordered blue cheese butter on the steak and never got it but I gave up on the service already so I let it go. The whole experience looked disorganized as multiple servers had tables all over the restaurant. Usually they are assigned areas so they can attend to each guest and observe. It was a lot of running around. My home location of Las Vegas doesn’t have this issue and the service is 5 star.
The only real negatives I can identify are:
1. Finding parking is very difficult, at best. Not a pleasant situation at all. All parking options should be identified at time of reservation.
2. There was no mention of needing to show COVID vaccination cards before entering. This should be identified at time of reservation. Fortunately, everyone in our party had a photo of their vaccination cards.
The positive points are:
1. Excellent service.
2.Food was exceptional.
Excellent service .! Shon was very professional and was an amazing waiter.
I had my youngest son birthday. We were so full and decided not to have dessert. However Morton gave a complimentary dessert with a candle. Thank you
Food was amazing and service was even better!
We went in for an anniversary dinner and were very disappointed. We had a reservation and were seated late to start and service was the slowest and most inattentive I’ve ever had. It took 1.5 hours to get out entrees and our glasses were constantly empty. Our server came around about once an hour and we were there for 3 hours! My steak wasn’t cooked right either and for $78.50 I would expect the chef to know what he’s doing. The manager did offer to replace it but after waiting so long it wasn’t worth waiting longer yet again. It is so noisy as well and hard to have a conversation. It was definitely not worth the $345 bill.
The dining room acoustics are awful. I couldn’t hear people at my table talking but could hear very clearly everything said at the next table! The service was good but the food was underwhelming. Half the steak was cooked to medium and the other half was quite rare. Other dishes were okay but over sauced, and for the prices I’d expect better.
The food was excellent here and our service was nice.
We did have a few challenges with the lack of parking for the DTLA location. And then not having any details on the website on this, we then tried to call the restaurant, and no one picked up.
The hostess was not very friendly, which I get it, working on a holiday is not great. But it does set the tone for how guests feel about the experience.
The dining area on on the 3rd bottom floor, so while it does create a bit of a speakeasy vibe, it can also feel cavernous. They placed us in a back table, in what was most likely a plastic table they set out to handle the influx of guests for Thanksgiving.
It did take away from the elegant feeling we were looking for when reserving a table at Morton's Steakhouse.
We were not thrilled with the experience. But I'd like to just say that the food itself was fantastic. The filet, the wedge, the baked potato!! Chef's Kiss!!!
Very disappointed. We booked for Thanksgiving and when we ordered we were told they were out of turkey. This was an hour and a half after they opened. The service was slow even though the restaurant was half empty. Cold coffee and only okay desserts made the $1000+ bill hard to swallow. Will never return. Thanks for ruining my Thanksgiving Morton's. 😭
Great service. Place was empty but the food was great.
The food was amazing. The truffle butter is a must with steak.
Our Server Derrick was AWESOME 👏🏾 he spoke on some food choices and we chose pork chops they were delicious
Always a great meal. They do an excellent job. The quality and consistency of the food and service is always great. My favorite restaurant for a reason.
I share with the manager that the Covid-19 guidelines should be posted-on the website and upon entering.
Service was amazing! Peter was very efficient as was all of the staff. The food was excellent! I had the ribeye. It was cooked to perfection! There was a couple birthday parties in the dining room and they were a bit noisy.
Morton’s never disappoints or falls short of expectations. The different cuts of prime meat were outstanding and cooked to perfection. The truffle shoestring potatoes and amazing onion rings were a delightful treat everyone enjoyed!
Excelente comida de primer nivel la carne, la Burrata excelente, las papas con Gouda son un must
Good/decent service but the feel of the Morton’s experience has gone downhill since they became a Landry owned restaurant. No valet so if you are handicapped you have to park, take multiple flights of stairs, walk , more stairs then you get to the restaurant. Food wasn’t timed right so entrees came out lukewarm.
What a great experience at Morton's. It was for my nephew's 20th birthday and, from the moment we walked in, it was a wonderful experience. The menu had a special "Happy 20th Birthday" greeting on it, and the hostess expressed the same. Service provided by Camille was excellent and food superb. We had to make a last minute change in our reservation and were able to process it through the Open Table app without a hitch.
The food is nothing special. Could use more seasoning. However, you get plenty of food for what you pay for as the price is what you would expect from an upscale restaurant.
Camille was great - food was delicious!
We have dined in this location many times years ago. It has changed. The service is not the same. I missed the part of seeing the actual meat, fish and lobsters on the platter with the menu for a better decision. Also service was very slow even though there were not many people dining in the restaurant. Mostly food was great, the steaks and seabass, yummy. French onion soup had a bit more cheese than normal. I didn't also like the Ahi tuna poke. We were a bit disappointed when our table appeared to be right under the speaker when I specifically asked for a quiet table since we had a person with hearing problem. I hope after pandemic is behind us, Morton's will get the previous reputation back and we will continue to dine there.
Our dinner at Morton’s was marvelous. The service was First Class. Everyone from the doorman to the server was attentive and so polite. The lobster bisque and salmon were delicious. My hubby said his porterhouse steak was “melt in your mouth” delicious. We were pleasantly surprised to see a special note on the top of our menus wishing us a Happy Anniversary.
Place is too dark
Food and service was great!
The best steak I've ever had, and therefore worth the expense.
Los cortes de carne excelentes
El ambiente del lugar muy bueno
