Morton's The Steakhouse - Saratoga Springs
Great service, food. Very quiet for a sunday night. We did the 3 course casino special.
Our waitress was VERY NICE ! We were given one of the best seats in the restaurant. The filet melted in your mouth. A little pricey but the food was outstanding.
Service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive but did not hover. Food was very good but my rare steak was delivered medium rare. While it was still delicious, I expect a steak place to get it exactly right.
Restaurant noise level was moderate but I would not like it any louder than it was. We could carry on a conversation but any louder and it would be difficult to understand each other.
Make no mistake, this is an expensive restaurant but for a special occasion it delivered reasonable value for the money.
Another wonderful meal at Mortons . Staff as always so attentive and food was amazing. Would highly recommend .
I have been going for a couple years now. Always great service. It was my wife's birthday and they rolled out the red carpet for her. Our waitress Kelly is the best .I always get her or bill. I tried the 42 ounce porterhouse. It's a special occasion treat that melts in your mouth. Outstanding service, food, ambience and management
The food was totally outstanding and the presentation was beautiful. Our server was great and very informative. TimeWise was perfect from appetizer to dessert.
Food was way over priced for portion and was just mediocre. Filet was not that tender , bacon wrapped scallops were bland , got twice baked potatoes that came out cut up in a baking dish that tasted like boiled potatoes with some cheese on top . Dessert was a good portion. If it weren’t for the excellent waitress and ambiance of the place ... everything was just ok .
Very Nice. Excellent service. Great Food. Will be back soon.
We had the bacon steak for an appetizer and it was burnt, not crispy, but burnt. I had the filet mixed grill ordered medium and it was well done. My husbands NY strip was overcooked as well. Our friends’ dinners were fine, but they ordered larger cuts of steak. Sides were just ok...mashed potatoes were runny, brussel sprouts were a mix of perfectly cooked and almost raw. The broccoli was mushy and the lobster Mac and cheese was just ok. We have been to Morton’s and had phenomenal meals that were well worth the $300 bill. However, last night was not even close to being worth the bill.
Chrissy, our waitress was outstanding-accommodating, professional, friendly to our grandaughters, 2 and 5. Our son has eaten at some of the finest restaurants and said his porterhouse was the best he has ever eaten!
Overall the experience was satisfying. Food was excellent. Service was extremely slow and it was not overly busy. 40 min to receive dessert which was entirely too long. Would consider going back if service improved.
absolutely amazing service. They made our wedding anniversary so special. It will never be forgotten. Would highly recommend.
Super food, service and ambiance
Desmond was one of the best servers I've ever had! Adam is a great manager and the entire staff offers outstanding service. The food is beyond incredible always!!!
The experience was on par with other high priced steakhouses. The specials were affordable and menu well portioned. I made a midweek reservation for a quiet and comfortable romantic dinner. Atmosphere and decor was elegant.
Everyone’s meals were excellent. They even helped celebrate our special occasion by printing a special keepsake menu.
We had a great dinner at Morton’s for our wedding anniversary! The food and service was spectacular.
Service was fantastic! Everything was great! It was pricy but to be expected.
Went to Morton's for Valentine's Day. Tables are close together, but dark lighting helped to create a cozy feeling.
Food was generally ok however the service was hugely disappointing. We were sat, given only wine and cocktail menus. When our waitress finally acknowledged us, she asked if we were ready to order. We had to point out that we hadnt looked at a menu yet (how did she not notice this before asking ?).
I probably should have lowered my expectations at that point, but alas, I continued to be surprised and disappointed with the service. Our drinks took FOREVER, then we were told they were out of bread momentarily...even as we watched servers delivering bread to the tables next to us. I finally asked for bread...again, and it came.
We both ordered Filet and lobster. Mine was not close to medium in the center, which I might have told our waitress if she had come back. We sat...a long time, for dessert, coffee...anything. so much so that eventually I filled up on the potatoes which were heavenly and just had my filet packed to go (I finished cooking it at home).
Its difficult to evenly cook a filet, so I dont fault anyone. However, its not difficult to hire competent staff. Our waitress was young, I might have thought she was a new hire except for how calm (too calm) and relaxed (too relaxed) she was.
Bottom line: Food is good but service might be too much of a gamble at this high pricepoint. When spending 100$ per person, I want a level of service I can depend on.
This was probably the 12th time we visited that location. The place is consistently excellent.
We enjoyed are meal very much, Food was awesome, service was Very Good, Pricing is a little high for this Area, but for a special occasion totally worth it.
I was there celebrating an anniversary. Upon our arrival they handed us a menu that actually said Happy Anniversary at the top and the table was decorated with pink rose pedals. The food and service were great.
Our waitress Kelly was outstanding, we celebrated our 7th anniversary an Kelly made it very special..
The only complaint was the lighting in the room, everyone was struggling to read the menu an had to you phones with flashlights.... overall it was a faboulous evening... Five Star....
Fabulous meal as always!!
Five star dinning all the way. The food was excellent and the staff make you feel like royalty.
The Meal was very good, I was very satisfied the the staff and quality of the food. A bit pricey
Amazing food, service, and ambiance! Keith was a great server. It was another excellent experience.
Great food can never go wrong here !!! Big steaks for a very decent price !!!! Always have to have the lobster bisque!!!!!!!!
Steak and lobster were barely luke warm and steak was way undercooked; au grauten potatoes were still raw after a second trip to the kitchen. Steak went back and was returned beyond well done, not a hint of pink at all. They threw away a third of my potatoes and never replaced them. Management did take my meal off the bill and bought dessert. However, no manager ever visited our table. Also, in an empty restaurant, they sat us right next to the pick up station at the kitchen, so busy and noisy that it was hard to have any conversation at all. So very disappointed in this place. Even with them taking the meal off, the bill for one steak and a bowl of soup was $90.
OMG!! That's how Morton's The Steakhouse makes you feel. The service was Excellent and the food was fresh and delicious. By far my favorite restaurant even though I travel a lot this is a place I will always come back to visit.
For the price it is not worth it the quality of the food is inconsistent. 14.00 for potatoes augratin is totally nuts and not cooked. Sizes of the potatoes in question were from tiny to extra large hard uncooked rocks.....keepers do you try your own food to see if is is ok to serve to the public?
It took us 35 minutes to get a drink. Then the appetizers and everything came on time. The restaurant kind of cleared out and we waited another 30 minutes or more for our meal. The server and staff were virtuous but during our waiting periods no one checks on us.
Excellent service and food. Our favorite place. The Morton’s special $40.00 deal is the best. Let’s us eat there more often.
Would recommend as a place to go to celebrate a special occasion, but over priced to be a frequent eating place.
It was OK....good food and service.... just not spectacular...underwhelming. So sorry to say this as we were expecting more for our money 😕
Ordered house salad, got Caesar. Ordered steaks medium, came very rare, wife had to return hers twice and mine once.
Service was extremely slow!! Food was not worth the price .. potatoes were cold .. Filet Mignon was very salty .. waited almost 45 minutes to get our meal !!
Would never go back
One of the better (read better trained) staff.. good experience.
Excellent-friendly staff and service. Food was good but in comparison to other high end steakhouses I am just rating it as good.
Reason why I wrote this review is my reservation was canceled from weather conditions. Which the storm was done by 4-5 o’clock pm. Roads where good to drive on , in which my reservation was at 8:30. Which I reserved and voice mail at 5:30 with cancellation. It was surprise anniversary dinner for my wife of 10 years! I was a repeat custom from last year and looking towards the I had planned.
