Lovely bar and met with a warm welcome when we arrived . Sat at the bar until our table was ready. Food was delicious and the bar had a great ambiance. Toilets were pristine and lovely decor. Only complaint was the chap who was serving our drinks failed to return with glasses or water so we were left sitting with a bottle of wine and nothing to drink from! We had to go to the bar to order drinks on a few occasion despite table service on offer.

Venue is lovely, music was great, but the amount of time it took to get served at the bar was shocking. When we were seated we were told it was table service till 9.30. We sat for 20mins and no one came to our table to take an order so at 5 past 9 I asked a member of staff passing our table if we could order drinks and he said it’s bar service only, table service ended at 9. Not great. When I then went to the bar, I waited 15-20mins to be served. And it was the same the 2nd time I went to the bar, at which point we decided to go somewhere else. It’s a shame, because had we been able to get drinks in a reasonable amount of time we would have happily stayed there all night. There just weren’t enough bar staff for a busy Saturday night.

I booked this for my sisters birthday and we loved it food was amazing . Service fantastic very friendly and fast. My niece then joined us and we had booked another place to go and have cocktails and Moskito was that good a vibe we stayed the full night. Definitely be back ASAP. And can’t wait for next visit. 😁

Booked for a meal and drinks last night at 8.30, on arrival taken to a table and ordered drinks, waited on someone to take our food order but no one came. Went to check what was happening to be moved from bar to restaurant area and given menus, waited again to order but no one came. Went to bar to place food order to be told the kitchen had now closed and not serving food anymore, this was now 9.10. Absolute shambles, had to then try arrange food somewhere else on a Saturday night at 10pm. Terrible service and complete let down!

Really disappointed having booked a table to dine but on arrival told the kitchen was closed - bookings to dine should be switched off if kitchen is closed on certain days. We then had to try and find somewhere else to dine with availability. Later on I then received an email thanking me for dining at Moskito!! I wasn’t able to!! Really poor communication and booking service

My experience what I say the Sunday roast didn’t exist member of sat us down at a table place was empty she sat us at right under a very large speaker with music blaring then set table with cutlery asked again are you in for the Sunday roast then another member of staff came over to tell us that theirs no Sunday roast but we’ll give you 50% of the normal menu and they won’t charge us for the drinks that they gave us 2 tap water and a lager not good

Roast dinner was amazing ! Beautifully presented and super tasty. Can’t fault anything at all. And our waitress also gets a 10/10 for service , professionalism, and friendliness . Nothing was too much trouble and even rustled up a couple of cocktails advice with our fav ingredients which were delicious .

No magic on cocktails anymore as waitress explained the bubble guns are too expensive to buy in now, so same price for average cocktails. Food was rubbish and over priced. Worst salmon I’ve had and tried oysters for first time but didn’t like them but that’s personal preference. Waitress was sour faced and 2 tables beside us were full and girls were extremely loud. The best part about it all was the decor it’s lovely and very modern but overall everything is over priced!

Food was nice but over priced for the portion size. The service was terrible and it wasn't explained to use that we had to order food at the bar so we waited ages to be told and then they couldn't find a card machine so we had to wait a while for that too. The table next to us was a group of six guys who were extremely loud and drunk the entire time we were there and they kept trying to sit at our table. All in all it was a total disaster.

Perfect amount of upbeat dance/pop music creating a fun atmosphere to dine in. Just the right amount of attention and privacy. If you hard of hearing it can be tricky having convos across tables!!

One should be aware that this place has very much of a night club vibe, even at 6pm. The food was overall good, the tuna tartar stood out as very tasty, but it was not super clear from the menu what to expect. For example the patata brava was very different from what I would expect and it was a surprise that the steak would be a sous vide variation.

This was our first visit, and we were not disappointed. Staff were attentive and friendly, prices were good for Glasgow, and the food was brilliant. Being a tapas bar, it provides small plates of food, although the Japanese chicken was fairly plentiful, and absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommended, and as Arnie once said....I'll be back.

Only ever been in Moskito for drinks prior to this visit and was amazed at how good the food was. Shared pictures of the food with friends and they were all surprised that it was Moskito we were in for food. We got 9 tapas dished between us and almost all of them were 10/10. Have already recommended it and will be back again for sure.

The menu was was intriguing and certainly didn’t disappoint. The combination of ingredients in the small plates was creative and the presentation appealing. Liked the oysters on a bed of pebbles. Liked the charred flatbread strips and dips accompanying them. The service was helpful explaining any queries - we had one about the bill and it was immediately corrected.

Two of us went at 2.30pm on a Saturday afternoon and requested a booth which we got. We ordered food which was fantastic and very unusual. We started off with a bottle of Prosecco which was reasonably priced and then started tasting some of the cocktails which were fantastic ❤️ We were asked to move to the bar area at 6.30 & continued to enjoy the music and ambience. We will definitely be back 😊

Beautiful place. Lovely food. Server advised they had a promotion of 3 for 2. After we had ordered our food we were told the promotion was not actually on. When I had highlighted that we had already ordered they just reiterated the promo had ended. Terrible handling of a small misunderstanding which ruined our experience and easily added another £20 to our meal.
