We love mashed potato - it's the food equivalent of a great big hug. Our mash is made with only the very best Maris Piper potatoes - and it's made fresh. Not that day, not that hour, but right before you tuck in. That way it still has the creamy fluffy texture we've whipped into it.
Add a piping hot pie, free range sausages or vegetarian option.. pour on your choice of fresh gravy.. and you'r done. Feel all warm and friendly.

We had a wonderful time at Mother Mash Carnaby! Everyone was incredibly helpful and kind and the food was delicious. Even on a busy Saturday night we didn't have to wait long at all and I felt like we were given a lot of attention by the amazing staff. Thank you for a lovely dinner x

You first need to understand that as an American I LOVE comfort food. Pies & Mash and Bangers & Mash are DEFINITELY comfort food! Our food was quick, hot and delicious! It’s a fairly small shop and when we first got there it was only half full. But even as it filled the very friendly staff seemed to handle it no problem. I would DEFINITELY recommend it if you’re looking for simple and tasty food. I will DEFINITELY be going back!

It was hard to find. It’s tucked in between two other restaurants, but once I found it, I was laughing because I passed by it twice. We were greeted warmly and instant felt at home. The waitress recommended some beer and a cider. I was delighted there was cider on the menu. She recommended some mash types and bangers that pair nicely and we made our choices. The food was delicious. Something so simple but so tasty. She also recommended a dessert and we all shared that. We were thanked many times for coming to dine and paid and we were on our way. If I am ever in London again, I will be visiting Mother Mash again.

Our waiter was kind and professional. He made sure everything was perfect- even made sure we got sticky toffee pudding by saving one for us! Delicious food and delightful staff!
