Luxurious, yet relaxed. Secretive, yet welcoming. Dark & mysterious.

Nice food great service, no atmosphere as we were the only 2 people in the restaurant
Sevice excellent, food even better, music great, we had two round of three tapas all were great giving a complicated zing to the taste buds. The beef tacos were so good we had them twice. Highly recommended.
Food was poor to put it nice. Service wasnt great and it put a dampener on what had been a great day in Newcastle. Wife was sick all night after eating here. Do not waste your time. Dingy, smelly substandard and definetly not recommended. Simply put it was not a good experience at all. The staff were ok but not great.
Booked a table for four, met up with some friends as we were going to see Ed Sheeran at St James Park. We sat outside, the tapas food was excellent, the ribs were amazing and very generous portions. Well worth a visit, we will be eating there again. Well Done.
We went based on the reviews without really knowing too much about it but left really impressed.
The staff were really welcoming and friendly and the food was great.
The lamb brik, open beef tacos and sweet corn fritters were definitely highlights. Would absolutely go again and will be recommending
Service very good food fabulous, staff very friendly and attentive would recommend to friends and family
Tried last Thursday night for the first time. Was easier to find than I thought but I had Googled first. It is as it sounds, petite dining area with petite portions. However as we were still a little hungry after having some amazing dishes, the chef made us a special tasty snack from scratch (not on the menu) with was nachos and other delights - what a lovely surprise! Would go there with a crowd before or after an event or for a romantic encounter.
Our server, Billie, was particularly helpful young lady who was very good at her job. Well worth a visit.
Great food Tapas style. I would recommend so long as you are after quality over quantity.
Fantastic food and wine in undiscovered spot with great value. Try the cheddar, bacon and maple doughnuts, they are so good!
Varied menu with plenty of vegetarian choices. Although small plates, the portion sizes were very generous and the flavour combinations were spot on.
Very welcoming staff and attentive. Would certainly recommend and would not hesitate in repeat visits.
I was there on a date on Saturday night during restaurant week. The restaurant is quite romantic, small place, a few tables, mostly for 2, candles. I was not that impressed with the food, compared to the reviews I had read previously, but it was good value for money. I would definetely recommend it for a date.
Great little restaurant! Excellent service! Variety of little tapas dishes - all great too!
First visit here for restaurant week. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and served in good time. Will definitely be back. I loved the cosyness of this and it would be ideal for a date or friends catching up.
A proper little hidden gem with amazing food. The staff were very friendly and the whole vibe was really nice. Would be back again in the future.
Great food and service! Would definitely go again and recommend to friends. Pork satay spring rolls and Kedgeree Arancini were very good.
Lovely cosy eatery. Food and service top notch. Had a voucher from a friend for 6 tapas and a drink. Bought a few extras too. Eveyrhing5abouy the place was great. We will definitely be returning.
Lovely food and lovely staff. Very accomodating especially with my 3 year old who says the same thing 20 times over! Such a lovely place I really hope it does well.
My sister I visited this great place on Friday afternoon . Food was very nice, well presented and very tasty. Good vegetarian selection too. Tapas concept, great for sharing allowing us to try more of the delicious dishes on the menu. Service was very good and attentive without being over bearing. We will be back.
all staff were friendly & very attentive, food was lovely, wine was lovely. Great offer....3 tapas plus a glass of prosecco for £15. A cool, chilled ambience, We had a lovely evening thank you.
Really nice restaurant. Sampled 7 dishes and all very very good, with the trout salad and mac and cheese balls being stand out dishes. Service was great too.
Absolutely delicious food made even better by the fact that we had an Itison voucher which meant we paid only £24 for six plates plus a drink each. Would definitely go back and will recommend.
Thank you itison we wouldn't have known this place existed otherwise, what a wonderful find.
Food and staff were faultless we will definitely be back.
Superb little restaurant. Value for money . Would definitely recommend. A little tricky to find in the dark but that can be addressed very easily
Music was really unusual - didn’t match the vibe at all! Could hear the kitchen music and the restaurant music at the same time and all conversations in the kitchen!
Brushing up around the table while we were eating!
What a lovely little place. Hidden Gem this one!!! The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. The food was great and bursting with flavours!! We will definitely be back. :)
Had a gorgeous evening here with two friends. The food was incredible, it looked and tasted beautiful and we tried most of the menu! The house wine was also really delicious and the service was great - personal and friendly. We will definitely be back and recommending it to others.
A little gem! Wonderful place with amazing food. Best place in Newcastle.
The food was beautiful absolutely no complaints what's so ever. It was my birthday and they brought me out a selection of deserts for free.. nice touch. If there was one thing I had to say it would be that they need to get better advertising.
Visited as part of Newcastle restaurant week and while Mr Petit's isn't easy to find, it is worth the search! Food is excellent, wine was delicious and service faultless - we will definitely by back!
Newly opened...what a find. Food was delicious. Service was great...lovely atmosphere
