    Staff were so lovely despite a huge event in Leicester Square partially blocking the entrance - commotion outside could barely be heard inside and the staff remained in good spirits throughout. Lovely food too :)

    Extremely disappointed as only booked as a vegan to try the redefine meat alternative, only to be told they do not have those options on the day we arrived. Therefore, the only vegan option seemed to be a cheese-less pizza. Needless to say we quickly left without ordering. Frustrating as clearly detailed I was a vegan in the booking notes, and they didn't contact me to say this item (which is most of the vegan options) would not be available. Do better!

    Afternoon tea was very disappointing. Was sat upstairs in an area lacking in any atmosphere. Room was being prepared for a Christmas do whilst sat there. Food was disappointing - sandwiches looked tired, ham and beef were chewy. Ladies Lois were absolutely appalling. No light, damp on the walks and on the mirror. 2 cubicles with neither that had a lock that worked. Will not be returning or recommending.

    A bit disappointed really. The seats were terribly badly designed too upright and no room at the table to put your knees in! Ambience not good, not great food, very average. Staff tried their best, but not very interested.

    This afternoon tea was a birthday gift and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were well looked after and all staff were very attentive but not in a pushy way. The food was excellent and displayed in an elegant manner.

    This was a gift Christmas 2022. Had a lovely relaxing afternoon eating and enjoying a friend’s company in a relaxing atmosphere The staff were attentive, friendly and polite. Fabulous, thank you♥️

    We chose Mr Whites as we were celebrating our son’s graduation. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the Spanish lady, who took our orders. All I can say is she’s a credit to your restaurant, such a lovely, professional & amusing person! If we’re in London again soon, we’ll make sure we’d call in!

    Nice relaxing place as respite from London's busy streets. Unlimited tea which was great. Food perfectly acceptable for the price and location. Very nice scone and clotted cream. Only real complaint was only strawberry jam available. I don't like strawberry jam. Tables for 2 are very small and too small for afternoon tea with no where to put bags or coats but we asked to move to a table for 4 which was no problem as the place was not full.

    Very enjoyable afternoon tea and the waiter was so helpful this made it even more enjoyable. We could not eat all the cakes and they offered to box them for us which was very kind. Even though we were on a voucher we did not feel in any way that we were not valued as much as 'paying customers'. Very cosy atmosphere on such a cold day.

    I had the vegetarian option which was lovely however the sandwiches were on white bread which tasted stale, I would much have preffered brown bread. The service was excellant.

    The venue was easy to find. Staff extremely courteous, helpful and attentive. My daughter and I were made very welcome and we enjoyed our afternoon tea. Will visit Marco's in the near future .

    Dreadful. Duped by the fixed price menu which was without VAT and service charge which wasn’t discretionary. Over-priced for poor quality. Poor Caesar salad, claggy Luke-warm gnocchi and waiting staff who couldn’t understand English.

    We went for my 65th birthday ! Was welcomed in shown our seats and our afternoon Tea was served ! Asked there was anything special we needed well looked after by serving extra tea n coffee tables kept tidy cleared away ! Just one thing would have loved scones with no currents/ sultanas other then that beautiful Tea n service

    Went went to Mr Whites at Leicester Square for afternoon tea. We joined the queue of 6 people to book in but it took 10 minutes for us to be shown to our table. We felt the decor was tired and abut dated. The leather seat in our booth was damaged and reminiscent of an 80’s nightclub. Our waitress came and was absolutely lovely her name is Tenai and she is a complete asset to the restaurant. She took our tea and water order and then out afternoon tea arrived. We had a tiny plate and enormous cutlery. The contents of the afternoon tea was completely underwhelming. The sandwiches were made with cheap sliced bread and far too much hard butter spread on them. In most cases more butter than filling. The scone was warm which was a pleasant surprise but it was rubbery in texture very like ones you can buy in packets from supermarkets. It was dry in the middle so either not particularly fresh or had been heated more than once. The cakes well where do I start… 3 chunks each of dry, dense stodge. I’m guess that they were definitely bought in again. My piece of cheesecake actually had half of another piece of cake plonked on the top so I can only imagine it came off the plate/cake stand of a previous customer. So to say I was completely underwhelmed is really putting it very politely. We had been gifted a voucher so luckily didn’t have to pay for it but it’s usually £25 per head. So absolutely terrible afternoon tea and a complete rip off. Luckily the tea was hot and the waitress as lovely. I would recommend grabbing a sandwich at Pret or M&S for a fiver or splashing out and going to a decent london hotel for a special experience. I’m very surprised that Marco Pierre white would even put his name to this. Gordon Ramsey would have had a field day. I actually suspect that Marco hasn’t stepped foot in this restaurant since it opened and the decor was in fashion. Won’t be returning

    The restaurant was quite lively but the noise level was reasonable. The set lunch was good value at a fair price. The menu for lunch was quite limited but of good quality. The service was efficient and friendly.

    It was good with their special menu. We had Autumn special menu, and ordered two courses. Most of people there were having afternoon tea which looks pretty unique from other afternoon tea shop sets. Will definitely want to try it once later.

    Nice afternoon tea selection, they were just a bit stingy with one tiny pot of tea between two so we had to keep asking for refills and staff were quite busy, gave up in the end

    The guy who waited on our table was amazing. Best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Didn’t get his name but told us he was Polish. Noticed he was the same with everyone especially with a little boy. He deserves praise from the top.

    I have been to Mr Whites many times for both lunch and afternoon tea and have always been extremely satisfied. The only complaint I ever have is that you do not always have decaf coffee but this time I am pleased to say it was available.

    Very nice well located restaurant with nice food- cheesy garlic bread and desserts were the best. Nice service just a tiny bit slow but it was very busy so probably understandable
