Enjoyed a drink down stairs in the beautiful bar area before Sunday dinner, the fires were roaring and the decor Is gorgeous making it a cosy relaxing area.
The carvery was excellent, gravy was very tasty and the selection of veg was great. Loved the sweet potato grattan.
Would highly recommend
Fabulous food. We had the seafood sharing platter with sides of home made chips, onion rings and salad. There was more than enough. The quality was excellent and so tasty. Highly recommended.
Our favourite Restaurant for Sunday lunches!
Excellent service and lovely food!
A good overall experience . The food was tasty and nicely presented and well worth the price. We will definitely be returning as excellent value for money and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Just a fantastic place. The service was excellent. Always checking if there was anything we needed and the plates were taken away as soon as we had finished. Nothing went unnoticed. Food was delivered quickly, which was so nice. Will be back again.
A really enjoyable meal - delicious food which was a real treat and friendly service. Would definitely go back again. Perfect for pre-theatre.
A good value Sunday carvery with decent amount of meat and plenty of vegetable choices. The conservatory room and decor weren't particularly attractive. Staff attentive.
Excellent meal and service in a really pleasant setting. We were lucky enough to be allocated a round table by the corner window. Theatre menu was excellent value for money.
Fish platter excellent. Halibut main delicious. Fish cakes need more salmon needed - disappointing. Overall a lovely evening with good service. We will be back.
Solo diner but treated like anyone else, some restaurant staff ignore you, but not here. I was made very welcome and staff were attentive but not intrusive. I was eating before heading for the theatre, this restaurant is definitely geared up for producing beautiful quality food quickly without making the customer feel rushed or pressed for time. I had the butternut squash falafel, not because I'm veggie, but because I like to try different things. Looked amazing, tasted wonderful, highly recommended. Will book here again and happy to recommend.
Has private parking - a great advantage in Malvern - and 300 yards walk to the theatre. Pleasant internal, attentive staff and competitive food. Well presented dishes served with friendliness.
Excellent value for money. The food was wonderful and the service was very attentive. We will definitely be going again
We enjoyed our Sunday dinner here very much, good choice of meat and veg, although would have liked a bit more "green" veg. Service was excellent, staff helpful and friendly. Pleasant, spacious surroundings so didn't feel cramped at all. We will definitely be back.
The food was amazing I would recommend this place to anyone.
We enjoyed our evening meal at the Mulberry. Service was very good and also the food we ordered.
Great food, but cold atmosphere.
Would certainly go back!
Very friendly and welcoming staff with the quality of service to support it. Food was great quality for a hotel type restaurant and the portion size good value. Would recommend as malvern is lovely place to visit too.
Loved the food. It was fairly quiet when we visited so there wasn’t a lot of atmosphere but we could not fault the food or service. The waitress was extremely friendly but not intrusive. Just the right balance. I had the fish cakes which were delicious and my husband and mother had the fish and chips which they highly praised.
Pleasant service on a quiet pre Christmas night in a very nice ambience. The food was fine, lacked a real wow factor, but nice enough and generous helpings.
Food and service was fantastic, if I had to say anything negative (which would be very unfair as we really enjoyed the food) but the pudding selection wasn’t the best so we decided not to have one, maybe a nice hot chocolate fudge cake or sticky toffee would be good... but still 10 out of 10 and will definitely be going back.
The staff were very efficient, friendly and accommodating. Our table for six was situated at the bottom of the stairs and in front of the main door, where the original reception desk use to be, and unfortunately it was cold and draughty, and we felt we were in a hallway, as residents came up and down the stairs past us. However, the main bar area looked lovely and cosy and was warm.
The food was good, not outstanding. Burgers and chips were enjoyed by two of our table. The fish cakes were a bit dry but tasted good. The duck leg and potato mixed with sundried tomato was good, and the pork belly and steak nicely done. Desserts - sticky toffee pudding swimming in too much sauce but tasted ok.
Our overall experience probably would have been better had we been sat at a different table
We were welcomed in by such friendly courteous staff and had the most delicious meal. The lemon meringue posset was the best dessert I’ve ever tasted (and I’ve had a few). Cocktails were fabulous and very reasonably priced. Wish we lived nearer and then we could go every week. Fantastic!
Very good attentive service, our 2 year old was made welcome too. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. Will definitely go again - really lovely Sunday carvery at a good price.
Lovely atmosphere, service and food. Look forward to going again.
Very good restaurant very clean and the food was good to. Service was very good and made you feel relaxed.
Would recommend the Mulberry Tree to all. ideal for the theatre to.
Thank you for a good evening
Lovely evening, chilled out atmosphere, good staff service, good food good value, thoroughly recommend.
Everything was very good from the mom we walked in. The young lady that looked after us all evening was great and the food was very good.
We were made to feel very welcome, and we enjoyed the warm friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is very pleasant with the lovely view of the floodlit Priory tower. Very nice food and my mulberry dessert most interesting!
Excellent service. Bit cold sitting by the window...but otherwise fine.
found and booked online which was easy to do. went for a pre theatre meal as we were heading to a show after - so we were the first ones in the restaurant in the evening (530) so v quiet but slowly filled up as time went on. really lovely venue . the pre threatre menu is a slimmed down version but enough variety to keep everyone happy - 2 burgers, a risotto and fishcakes. food came out quickly and was really tasty. 2 of us had starters had halloumi fries and the other 2 had the sticky toffee pudding which was gorgeous. and big enough to share between 2!
easy walk down the hill to the theatre, didnt take very long at all.
thought the menu was great value for pre theatre and would definitely recommend a visit if you are heading to see a show.
Four of us had their 3 course pre-theatre meal and all of us thought the food, service and value was very good. Hint; You need to specify when you are booking a table that you want their pre-theatre meal, which is excellent value, otherwise you might have to select from their standard menu.
Very easy to book a table, the staff were attentive without being over the top and the food was excellent.
I would highly recommend and would definitely return.
It was an absolute pleasure, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent, not a fault anywhere
Very good meal and service was good. have booked again for November
Booking was easy. The lunchtime menu was simple but classic, carefully prepared and served. The staff were very helpful, but never intrusive. Understanding that my friend who has sight and hearing challenges needed a well-lit table away from any loudspeakers, the table was perfect for us to enjoy a quiet very pleasant lunchtime. We both agreed we would revisit the Mulberry Tree.
Enjoyed a lovely meal with a friend in a relaxed environment.
Once again we dined at Mulberry Tree and it did not disappoint, a lovely dining experience, all staff 10/10 ambience 10/10 food 10/10. We will be back soon. ( brandy, a nice surprise 😉 )
Thanks again Trev & Josie Turner.
Lovely food and smooth service even with a couple of big groups in.
Very nice food. Had a good selection of meals to choose from. Staff very polite & helpful.
Second time we have been and food was every bit as good. Would recommend.
The chicken was nice but the fishcakes were swimming in grease and tasted awful. No service once my meal arrived, no offer of a sweet or drink.
