Muse Brasserie although predominantly classic French, reflects the inspiration and influence chef Franck has had on his culinary journey. The menu offers an array of dishes from all over Europe and flavours from both India and the Far East also play a significant part in creating some new and exciting palates.
Fabulous food, all the main courses were delicious, the sauces were amazing. Good desserts and enthusiastic service. A very enjoyable evening.
Really lovely restaurant. Great food and good value. Don't miss out on the Okra starter and the Seabass main course. Oh and the Romanian Pinot Noir was very good.
Would highly recommend this lovely restaurant. Innovative menu with very interesting choices. Food was presently beautifully and prepared perfectly. Great service and lovely decor. Go, you won't regret it.
Recommend with qualifications, table not ready on arrival. Had to remind them for drinks. Service overall 'patchy'. Food good overall.
Great place to eat and drink. Easy access in terms of location. Food is superb! Highly recommended.
Excellent all round, only reason for a four rather than a five was we went on a weekday and the restaurant was quite quiet, no fault of the owners or staff can't encourage people enough to go to this restaurant to support it, and also whilst you can still get a table before everyone finds out how good it is
The food was amazing and the place very quiet, definitely recommend
I rarely write reviews but Muse was so frustrating I hope they take this feedback constructively. The space itself is lovely and the food was excellent, but the service was - frankly - very poor.
This was a Saturday night and I would estimate the restaurant was 1/3 full, so not a front of house rushed off its feet. We ordered a bottle of wine from the Maitre D’/waiter. 20 mins later it still hadn’t arrived and it was only by waving that we caught his attention and finally got some.
My guest then queried an item on the mains and was specifically assured it came without a tomato sauce (the specials equivalent did). It duly arrived surrounded by aforementioned tomato sauce...
Restaurants make mistakes but - and this is the difficult bit - our waiter just came across as over eager and yet insincere. This contrasted with the chef/patron who personally came to the table to apologise and deducted said main from the bill.
So, I really want to like this place and for it to succeed in a tough market, but it always amazes me how restaurants get the food right but staff seem ill trained or suited to customer hospitality. The restaurants I return to over and over again aren’t those necessarily with the absolute best food (though that helps!) but those that make me feel genuinely welcome and valued and where the service is just effortlessly casual yet professional.
I probably will come back and give it a second chance, just not as quickly or as unequivocally as I may have done without these issues.
Great fusion of foods loved it all service brilliant
Excellent would highly recommend. The Fusion and Franch and India worked really well
Absolutely exceptional new restaurant on the outskirts of the high street. Menu is very unique and closest competitor I'd say it Prithvi which is probably 50% more expensive. Decor is lovely and service very efficient. Try the Cod, it was superb!
