The whole experience was amazing, from the warm welcome from the front of house staff, ie the friendly and knowledgable attentiveness of Ian, and the wonderful Sean to the oh my goodness, the delicious, clever artistry and quality of each dish. We had the 7 course taster menu with paired wine. A high recommendation to opt for the paired wine as each one elevated each of the already outstanding dishes. There is obviously a lot of hard work, thought and history gone into creating each dish. The fact that the whole team exude the vibe of ‘family’, a tight knit team both front and back of house made our experience an amazing and unforgettable one. On visiting the kitchen staff, to compliment them for the outstanding dishes, it was evident that the family vibe runs true throughout the restaurant and it definitely gives the customer an feeling and experience they will never forget. Thank-you Team Myrtle. We will be back.

We went here for a special occasion and had the tasting nenu. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very scruffy young an with faded black jeans and dirty shoes. We were seated and waited about 5 minutes to order a drink. I asked if I could have a Lemon Drop. A very simple cocktail to make consisting of Vodka, Cointreau, Sugar syrup and lemon but I was told by the same chap that greeted us that he didn't want to make it because they might 'do it wrong' A very nice young man brought our food and, although very pleasant, had a stained shirt which was a bit off putting. We had the first couple of courses, and they then brought our beef. No sooner did they put it on our table, but they took it away again and gave it to another table. All in all it was OK but not what we were expecting. It was a disappointing visit, which we will probably not repeat.

Food was excellent. Shaun the waiter was very polite and attentive but the other member of staff was shocking! I can’t remember his name! He was in charge that evening and it wasn’t Dan the manager! He was rude to his staff, was rushing around not appearing he was in control of anything. When telling us what the food contained he used his finger to point to the food which was so close to the food his finger was nearly on the plates. He was completely disorganised and he lets the restaurant down! The air conditioning was on and was blowing in our faces all evening. It blew the table candle out it was so strong!Such lovely food but he needs to be sacked! Customers on the 2 other tables near us felt the same about him like us.i have eaten in many Michelin star restaurants and never experienced such a poor experience. Very disappointed and I think Anna needs to know how he behaved in the evening. He has let her down! I will not visit ever again!

First time we've been to an Irish themed restaurant. 7 course taster menu for 2 of us and A La Carte for 1. Food was excellent. Very tasty and unusual. Service was great, the young waiter was efficient and friendly. The restaurant ambience is not fussy and over bearing like some high end stuff where you sometimes feel like you have to be on your best behaviour. It felt more low key and friendly, probably linking to the Irish style, and the emphasis was on the food. Therefore we could just relax and enjoy it. Wine selection was very good if a bit pricey and the manager was friendly.

We had a wonderful evening at Myrtle Beach we started with a perfectly poured Guinness in the Wee Sister and we were then welcomed to our table in the restaurant. We chose the taster menu. So many delicious dishes it is impossible to choose favourites. The cooking was so impressive, complex and delicious flavours. We were guided on wine choices and especially enjoyed the English sparkling, Sugrue. Service was exceptional, charming and knowledgeable Highly recommended, just lovely!

This tiny gem in Chelsea is an exploration of what good local ingredients and imaginative cooking can be made wonderful. The use of Irish elements in the dishes and on the table are subtle and beautifully rendered. We tried the carrot salad and the smoked salmon starters which were excellent. The beef and halibut entrees we presented and delicious. Very decent wine list along with a well stocked bar rounded out the evening. The Irish soda bread is addictive. No worries you can order some for take home. Myrtle is part of a Nuevo Irish culinary trend made available to London citizens and visitors. Make sure you book a reservation. Seating is limited.
