Superb food prepared with flair from first rate ingredients
Lovely little restaurant. The food was sublime. Extremely fresh well presented executed very well. There were 6 of us for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Very much loved the table cloth and napkins, something that is fading fast unfortunately.
Also it was such a pleasure to meet Anna and have a chat with her

It's brand new, but deserves to get your attention. Menu is short and sweet. Execution is near perfect and the service is attentive. icing on the cake, the chef is super friendly and really makes you feel special. Spread the word!
Our second visit was just as good as the first. This is a small restaurant with a small menu that really delivers. Great service. Just a great place to be on a sunny evening.

Overall it was great. However a couple came in midway during our meal and were rude and loud. Destroyed the experience a little. I would definitely go back. Food was fantastic and some lovely wines by the glass.
Fantastic meal showcasing lovely Irish ingredients. A little gem that will succeed once word gets out. Ask how they shape their brown bread!! We will be back.
Eating at Myrtle was a beautiful experience. The menu was simple and absolutely delicious. The space is calm and contemporary. Anna briefly came over to have a chat, she is very passionate. We look forward to eating at Myrtle again.

We just had a lovely lunch. Small menu, but welll selected. The bread was lovely, but quite sweet, so some people, including me thinks too sweet for a meal. The staff, Paulo and Lucia, couldn't be nicer. Very caring, informative, and attentive. We went for set menu, which is £28 for 2 course, and £35 for 3.
The starters were excellent. Taste, texture, visual impact, all 5 star! Our favourite was black pudding.
The main courses, we had fish cake and pork chop. Both lovely.
The coffee was very good.
We found the wines are quite pricy. Nothing under £32 a bottle, and about half of our bill was for wine.
Maybe it's time to cut back drinking a little for our health as well as for our wallet.
Really enjoyed the food well presented boxty was delicious.

Perfect place to spend a Birthday. Excellent, friendly unassuming service. The food is a lovely mix of tradition and imagination. Every dish was a interesting combination of flavours. We felt very comfortable and welcome, will definitely be returning.
This amazing restaurant was a joy to visit; great care had obviously been taken to create a beautifully relaxed atmosphere twinned with absolutely amazing food. My husband started off with the Pig Croquette which was beautifully executed followed by some magnificent beef and finished off with a stunning chocolate tart with exquisite orange ice cream. I had the Clonakilty black pudding wrapped in superfine potato strings - making a delightfully light starter; the hake in the mackerel veloute with tiny mussels was fabulous - the smell of the sea was very evocative and this was finished off by an amazing rhubarb dessert accompanied by mini doughnuts. The whole experience was fabulous and Anna was absolutely delightful and so happy to be running her own special place funded by her own money! We wish her every success and will be returning very soon!
Outstanding cooking, short but well balanced menu with good choices and simply superb presentation.
A few teething glitches on service but a warmth and attitude that is great.
Clearly, a highly capable chef and team, using wonderful ingredients; mainly but not exclusively Irish sourced.
Highlight were the Carrot Salad, a real surprise, the Oat Crusted Hake and the Beef.

Really had the most wonderful weekend lunch in this new local restaurant. We dined on the ground floor which was bright, inviting and neatly laid out. We were given just the right amount of time to enjoy an aperitif before ordering. All the staff were friendly and efficient and any questions we had were answered well. The menu is concise and nicely balanced with lots of interesting little flourishes. I was curious to try the Celeriac Pithivier - and certainly this vegetarian option was no stereotypical oversight - perfectly packaged with spinach and creamy mushrooms and just so, so tasty! Couldn’t resist the selected Irish cheese for dessert and a taste of the smoothest chocolate tart. Am already thinking of an excuse to arrange my next visit. I believe this place is here to stay.
It’s a lovely small and friendly restaurant. The food was so delicious I’ll definitely recommend it to all my friends. The wine waiter was superbly knowledgeable and helped us chose a lovely red. We had the best most flavorsome meal we’ve had in ages. An added bonus we had the pleasure of meeting Anna. I had the carrot salad to start which was a taste sensation followed by the fillet so Devine.
Really enjoyed our lunch. Wonderful flavours, excellent service. Can't wait to return.
Myrtle is a wonderful addition to the Chelsea dining scene. Innovate dishes with sublime execution. Ambiance is perfect with such professional yet friendly staff. It’s a little oasis and foodie heaven
We always aim to support restaurants where the chef is the principal and this new restaurant founded by chef Anna Haugh was an ideal opportunity to explore a new experience not far from where we live. What a disappointment . For nearly 2 hours we were the only guests which served to highlight the short comings . The staff , 3 of them , had company as they spent the whole time chatting among themselves and being attentive to their only guests was not on their agenda. The menu was simple enough but perhaps unfairly we thought that the main dishes had been prepared the day before or even earlier. Overall a great disappointment and we were very relieved to get our bill and go home . We would be surprised if this restaurant manages to celebrate it's first anniversary .
Some of the best food I have tasted in London. The beef boxty was incredible and I would highly recommend the carrot salad. The waiting staff are attentive and knowledgeable, whilst the wines were excellent.
I will be recommending this place to friends and family.
Delicious food which was presented beautifully by a team of delightful and engaging waiting staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and will return again soon. The beef boxty was a particular highlight as was the pork croquette
It is very rare for me to leave reviews of restaurants but the level of service and the quality of the food compelled me to do so on this occasion.
Not only was the food out of this world, the service, knowledge and attention to detail of the staff was absolutely first class.
I had the beef boxty cake which melted in the mouth and a side of puree which in honesty I ordered as I was so intrigued by the waiter's description for such a simple side but was not disappointed, it more than lived up to his hype. The chocolate tart and orange ice cream was amazing and my only negative of the evening was that I didn't order the panna cotta with donuts but luckily my friend shared!
Whilst the wine list was not fully available the choice was still ample and the Chianti that was recommended was a perfect compliment to the beef.
I have and will continue to recommend Myrtle to friends and will be sure to return when next in London.
Relaxed and intimate, the perfect place for a late Sunday lunch. The attention to detail on every dish we were served was so impressive. Will be back!
A fantastic dinner. Could not fault anything. We will certainly be visiting again in the not too distant future.
I often think the sign of a good restaurant is when you find so many items that you struggle to pick which you want and on this Myrtle more than delivers. Irish super chef Anna Haugh has assembled a menu that leaves you struggling with not which dish to choose, but which dish to leave behind. The glutton in me would have gladly eaten every last thing on the menu and I can honestly say, the pain repaying the debt in the gym would have been well worth it.
Mytle is without a doubt one of the most anticipated and hottest openings London will see in 2019. Originally planned for a late 2018 launch, Chef Patron Anna Haugh (yes, her of the telly) delayed the opening to ensure that every last detail was accounted for and it is very noticeable. The front of house team offer a polished service from start to finish, proving both attentive and discreet all at the same time – no mean feat (and I say this as a former restaurateur myself). The Irish touches flow throughout every inch of the restaurant, from the beautiful pewter water goblets complete with wonderful Celtic depictions, to the marble the butter is served on, to the ingredients, lovingly chosen from Irish suppliers (most of whom it turns out are women), to the menu itself which has a wonderful Irish lilt to each dish. The restaurant feels like everything 2019 needs – a strong female voice, a menu that is all about quality and enjoyment and nothing to do with tricks and fireworks. That's not to say that the restaurant doesn't hold any surprises – the exceptionally well made cocktails and the incredible twist on the world's best Boxty cake hit all the right notes, but in a comforting and reassuring way.
Overall, Myrtle delivers everything it sets out to and more. It has the comfort of a well-established neighbourhood restaurant with enough flair and "wow" moments to make it both memorable and worth of return visits – truly a reflection of the soul of the chef. I for one am sure to be a frequent flyer.
