Food was prompt, cosy vibe/atmosphere, will recommend
Crowded space, didn’t feel like I had privacy with my date, however the food was really good, made up for that in a way. Amazing booze too.
Agedashi tofu is a must-try item.
Food was outstanding and service was super-competent and helpful.
Food was great. The sushi slider was amazing - hands down my favorite item on the menu. The rolls are all tasty but do have a fair amount of mayo. The spicy edamame has a real kick!
The service can be hit or miss, depending on how busy the restaurant is. And if you sit by the door, prepare for it to be pretty chilly.
Hits all the Taste, price and ambiance marks for Japanese food lovers who can’t do araki daily.
Had a great time at this place and would 100% recommend the Dragon Roll and spinach dumplings!!
The food was amazing and the service was also very good! Will def come back
The food we had was absolutely fantastic. We will be back.
Great food, well prepared and presented. Environment could be improved, table surface unattractive. Might be good to offer some guidance to customers on menu options.
My favorite spot for sushi in London. Excellent food, great service and a really comfortable atmosphere.
An amazing little place. Puts larger Japanese restaurants to shame on every level
Amazing food and lovely intimate atmosphere!!
The aubergine was soooo good and the tuna and sushi as well!
We booked this place based on the photos, but had read some negative reviews. We don’t know what all the negativity was about. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the quality, service, and portion sizes were very good.
I would definitely go again!
Incredible dining experience. Brought my wife there for her birthday dinner and in her words, "that was 10/10". We will definitely be coming back very soon. Thank you!
Food was delicious but the restaurant was a little quiet
Wonderful food and great service!
Nice little sushi restaurant - no frills but good Japanese food in a relaxed environment.
Great experience all round. Do yourself a favour and go
The food is slightly overpriced for what it is. I might want to try the lunch menu next time. Overall the food isn't too bad.
Beautiful delicious sushi, calm and cute inside.
A real gem.
Excellent food and friendly service. Very pleased to find this level of Japanese food London, fresh fish and fairly reasonably priced. Will definitely be recommending and returning in the near future!
Very yummy beautiful food! Try the chocolate dessert! Out of this world!
Have a lovely meal, staff helpful and attentive.
We went for a birthday meal on a Monday evening. All of the food was incredibly sourced and very tasty. However it took a very long time to get served. I asked for water 3 times and 25% of our meal could not be served to us because they ran out of rice. When we searched for more things on the menu to order instead we were told that the kitchen had closed. To make matters worse the bill was put down in front of us at 10pm on the dot without asking. The food is delicious but we felt like we were not really wanted to be honest, give it a miss if you like to feel welcome but if you're hungry for some tasty food check it out.
It was raining badly outsound and when we got inside the waitress offered me a napkin to dry off a bit. The food was delicious and quick to come out. Would happily come back.
The sushi burgers, prawn gyozas and miso aubergine were excellent. Cocktails were on point. Small space so a bit noisy at times and feels a bit crammed. Great value for money - will definitely be going back.
This was our first time at Nanashi and it completely hit the spot for our sushi craving. The vibe is relaxed, the menu is creative (but doesn't stray too far from the traditional) and everything was perfectly put together and presented. The rotating specials are delicious, the drinks are great... everything here was really perfect.
Delicious food, friendly staff! Have been a few times.
The food is of high quality and prepared with respect. Interesting menu whilst not straying too far from tradition. The staff need to be more confident in their assistance w food ordering - we ended up w too much tempura. One food complaint is that the aburi sushi was not burnt enough
Good overall but nothing special for the high prices. Service was excellent.
Food was delicious. Small stools were very uncomfortable. A little annoying that we had to rush there so as not to miss our reservation and then had to wait 10 minutes for table( we get charged if not there in time )
It was my second visit in two days as I was so impressed with the quality of the food in my first visit. Never satisfied with modern Japanese this much before, they select proper high quality ingredients, including soy sauce & rice, no cheating in their cooking. The staff are very friendly too. I will keep going back especially for their Shichimi Octopus!
Excellent food, excellent service and friendly staff. I wished it was closer to home as I would go here weekly. It’s a high quality restaurant at very reasonable prices. Thank you for topping off our trip to london
Always enjoy coming to Nanashi - whether with friends or just two of us, it is a great place.
Great food, lovely staff .
Really enjoyable experience , definitely going back.
Really nice place. Friendly staff and good food. I would recommend to friends.
Great food as always—service was mediocre and dishes did take too long
Quite disappointing and pricy in relation the the quality of food and service.
Service was below average, with staff not able to answer even basic questions about the food, forgetting drinks and brining food before drinks. Sushi rice was still like warm when served - all in all quite disappointing.
Food was delicious, staff were attentive and I was recommended a cocktail which I enjoyed a lot!
Fresh and beautifully prepared sashimi. Hot dishes are flavourful and deliciously enjoyable with every bite. The cosy atmosphere would be perfect for any occasions. The staff especially went out of the way to cater for our fussy toddlers: if I could give more than 5 stars for every aspect I would heartily do so!
Wow! Simply amazing, was searching for a proper Japanese place with a twist for a while. A must.
