It's like coming home. everyone seems glad to see you, the food is excellent, and the service is efficient. We love it.
Some pizzas was overburned, the waiter dropped a pitcher of water near us but no one came us to ask excuse. No one asked if food was good, the only important thing was bring us the bill
The food was great as usual come with eaten there many times before and have not been disappointed
Food poor-pizza burnt, chicken dry. Overpriced. Wouldn't go back!
Consistently a good place to meet, eat tasty food, not feel packed tightly, get some natural light, friendly service. A little loud but workable.
Was very quick for lunch - in and out within 45 minutes. Given how long the lines are at peak hours at some fast casual spots in the area, and considering that the food is tasty, it’s a great spot to go to for lunch with coworkers or clients. Would highly recommend!
Great casual Italian spot in midtown. Convenient and consistent.
The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. We had a great time.
Naples 45 delivers one of New York's best truly Italian pizzas and does so extremely efficiently and so serves its business lunch crowd very well: I've been coming here off and on since 2002 and it continues to deliver without feeling as old as that date might imply. Naples 45 executes very well.
However, I would be remiss not to note that the pricing is out of control: $83 with tip for two pizzas with few toppings (no meat) and no extras, one green salad to share, and two coffees—no other drinks—is excessive. Will I go again? Yes: there are few sit-down choices that are anywhere near as efficient in this part of Midtown East, and it is very reliable. It is also cheaper than the even more outrageously priced (and co-owned by the Patina Group) Cafe Centro, next door—which has virtually nothing for non-meat eaters.
But, I now feel gouged, and unlike the pizza, that's beginning to leave a nasty taste in my mouth. The place was full. They need no lessons from me in running a business. I used to enjoy an occasional catch-up over a pizza though, and now I will be thinking, is this a $40+ catch-up, or should we just get a coffee or after-work drink?
Stellar meal. Marred a bit by the over the top noise level. Great mushroom pasta and an outstanding salmon. Great service and convenient location.
Extremely convenient to GCT and the subways. Large and able to handle big parties. Food is not unreasonably priced given its mid-town location. The only strike I have is that it is not quiet.
Always have a great meal at Naples 45. Service is excellent and the food is very good. Large portions and they move quick without rushing you. It’s always very busy and it’s a large restaurant so it can get a little noisy but not so loud you can’t have conversation. Perfect for a casual dinner or a nice occasion. Outdoor dining in the nice weather is the best, but the ambiance inside is warm and inviting in the colder months as well.
Preordered apps for 17 people no one explained to me that 5 pizzas were way too much in addition to all other apps I ordered/ bill was almost 2500!!!
Good food but poor acoustics, it’s noisy. Pizza and salads are good for a group lunch or dinner.
Great service but noisy. Our waiter was very helpful though!
Soups and salads very tasty. Table service perfectly fine. Hostess did not connect my companion and I when we arrived separately and only by chance did I see him seated elsewhere half an hour after we each arrived. Biggest problem was the noise level. This place seriously needs and could well afford sh investment in some acoustic improvement to the ceiling.
I wish this place was open on the weekends! I would come more often.
Great food; prompt, warm welcoming service. A great start to my day in the City.
Acoustics are really bad due to the building design. The food is good enough - nothing special but better than most places. Prices are reasonable. Location is uber convenient for commuters who want to meet with Manhattan based folk.
The acoustics make it a very LOUD place.
I will say, it was fast. I went in for a 1 PM lunch reservation by myself and I was out before 1:30, after having soup and a pasta. The soup was fair. I ordered linguine with manila clams for $24 and it came out very quickly. It was so hot, that I can only imagine that it was precooked and then reheated in a microwave, or perhaps its components were. The taste was fair. I certainly didn't feel like it was worth $24 but nor would I have sent it back. The waiter asked me if I wanted bread with my pasta...an odd time to ask. Overall, meh. I am not inclined to rush back, though the pizzas that other ordered looked good and if I were in the neighborhood and wanted to split a pizza with someone, I might give it another chance.
Celebrating business achievements
Fabulous pizza but pretty noisy. Very good service.
Way too noisy. Food mediocre. Way too noisy. Food mediocre.
I enjoyed a delicious salad and pizza for lunch. The service was fast and efficient. Naples 45 is the perfect spot for a quick business meal if you're around Grand Central.
A bit too loud
Noisy and full. Better suited for meeting friends than a business lunch.
Great breakfast spot. Attentive service. Good food.
It's like coming home. We love to eat at Naples 45, and they really let you know that they enjoy having you with them.
I had personal pizza which was delicious and the crust was thin and crispy.
Overall, it was a great experience with food, service, and the ambiance.
Very good and attentive service, food is good enough.
But the noise level is ridiculously high. It is difficult to have a conversation there.
The food was good but the noise level made it hard to hear a business conversation and it was pretty expensive for what was ordered.
Table next to us had two screaming children. Restaurant was not crowded and they were running around our table and yelling.
Good food, very busy during lunch. Is very loud in that main dining room. Enjoyed it.
Conveniently located for my spouse and I, Naples 45 is easy to get to via public transportation in midtown Manhattan. There is indoor and outdoor seating with a bar in both settings as well as full service restaurant serving pizza and mostly Italian dishes. We both ordered salads and beer; my beer was flat and her salad lacked the chicken mine had. The service was excellent. Don’t worry, we would return!
I would recommend Naples 45 with a strong caveat -- the noise level is outrageous and no one can hear anything. The night we were there there were a lot of people in the bar area and not so many at tables. Those of us at the tables could not hear each other and I was with 2 millenials. They couldn't hear each other. I will not go back there during the height of lunch or dinner hours due to this very annoying and uncomfortable noise level. Couldn't you put glass enclosure around the bar so the noise doesn't deafen everyone else? The food and service were good. But that noise level is losing you customers.
Noisy place, but good value for money and food. Not a place for official business lunches but good value for informal business lunches / meetings
weather was nice so ate outside, the inside gets very loud at lunchtime. Food and value is great, but can't go for a conversation.
