We really enjoyed our dinner at navadhanya. Definitely going to go back. We tried many of the seafood dishes. We may try the taster menu next time. Great experience .

Overall a very nice meal. Very attentive service, and the food was lovely. We had the taster menu (two standard, two adapted for gluten-free, one vegan) - the later, more traditional dishes were really excellent, and the earlier, slightly more unusual ones were interesting. A little bit noisy (we were there at 8 on a Saturday, so perhaps predictable that it would be).

We really enjoyed our meal. The only reason to not give it 5* on food was because the railway lamb we had as a main could have done with a little bit more heat and the naan were a little doughy. The scallops and malai chicken we had for starters were delicious. The service was the main negative for us. They don't seem to have a system or the staff don't talk to each other because for example we were asked 3 times after we had already ordered drinks if we would like to order drinks. Last thing which we would suggest to improve is the presentation of the menu. It is an A3 sheet of paper, which doesn't really shout fine dining. We would definitely recommend Navadhanya, but we would say prepare for a great, not outstanding, experience

The food at this Indian restaurant is innovative and imaginative, but above all it tastes delicious and is beautifully presented. The service is charming and efficient and whole experience is special and memorable. If you’re looking for an Indian restaurant with a difference look no further than this. We had the 7 course tasting menu and at £59 per person, we actual thought it to be good value. The portions were surprisingly generous and each cooked to perfection.

Things were perfect it was a birthday celebration. Food is better than we expect, service good, ambience perfect. Talking about noise level the restaurant is not noisy at all, just that we were assigned to a table next to 4 ladies. Their table is very closed to us that’s why it’s a bit noisy.

It was so loud in this restaurant, we couldn’t hold a conversation. We ended up leaving with headaches. It is a shame because we were regular customers when they were across the street, but this move has not improved the dining experience. The food is as ever really delicious, but the host was quick to show his irritation with us asking where our food was after a 40 minute wait. It is all made fresh, he indignantly informed us. I do like their food but the restaurant wasn’t a nice place to eat.

Group of 5 ladies who love food visited to celebrate a friend’s “big” birthday. Tasting menu was incredible - every delicious course was so beautifully presented. We had the accompanying flight of paired wines. Both reasonably priced. Food was just joyous. Such an enjoyable evening. Not surprising the place was full and the couple next to us explained they were visitors 3 times a year for obvious reasons when they saw our reactions to the first course! Congratulations great place!

Absolutely wonderful evening here, the staff were the best I think I’ve ever known in a Restaraunt. The food was wonderful. My only gripe is how spicy the food was. We had the taster menu and I was unable to eat several of the dishes, I appreciate it’s an Indian but I wasn’t expecting quite so much chilli. It would be nice to at least have sauces/yoghurts on the table of some sort. Otherwise this was a wonderful evening.

Food and service are exceptional. You pay a premium for this quality, but it’s worth it. Top tip, get the 7 course tasting menu and wine flight. The pairings were surprisingly good.

A fabulous family treat , with a fine dining 7-course tasting menu that blew our tastebuds away on Fathers Day. It was good to get an early table as the meal was an unhurried2.5 hours of pure enjoyment. I don’t tell my family what they were getting so they could experience food they would t normally order. Hence the two non fish liking people said the best dish of the night was the sublime Hake, followed by a melt in the mouth scallop. The plates were created with care , the tastes were pure joy, the staff were a delight and we all left incredibly full and very happy. Thank you to the Manager who was making sure everyone was happy, and 5 star service from all. Amazing value. Don’t miss this gem!

Navadhanya describes itself as fine dining and truly is. We had the 7 course tasting menu and from the most interesting and delicious starter (described as an amuse bouche snack, but really a full course) to chocolate heaven desert it was just perfect with huge range of tastes and textured (with just a little theatre with smoke filled glass dome cover to exaggerate the sense of smell). On the way home we discussed our thoughts of the best/favourite course and it was almost impossible, because each was unique and different, but perfectly executed. Service wad attentive but descrete and friendly and ambience just right. It was still an Indian restaurant, but just a rather special one. So if you want a special meal a definite to put on your list, we will just have to save up to go again.

We arrived to the restaurant and there were spaces downs stairs however we were seated upstairs. The decoration was dated and you walked via the open plan toilets to get to the dining room. Every 5 mins you could just hear the hand dryer. We were seated and the wall paper next to our table was coming away from the wall in a few areas. On the plastic wall protector the screw covers were missing and it was cracked. On the shelf behind us we’re all the dumped extra table items. The ladies toilet had toilets with no working lock. Regarding the food menu was not easily readable and not a lot of options. We had to wait a long time for our main meals. Then they arrived and the rice and sides were all cold so we had to send them back. We had white wine with the meal and had to ask for a cooler to keep it chilled. The food was trying to be stylish but it was either spicy hot or tasteless. One of the Punjabi Murgh actually tasted like tomato soup. The pictures on the app and website do not match at all to the actual venue we saw. Extremely disappointing We would never recommend or revisit, it was such a shame as we had seen such great reviews One good point they refunded one side and main. Still very overpriced.

We can to celebrate two significant birthdays with our friends, party of four. We chose the tasting menu which was delicious, beautifully presented & great value for money! Staff are very attentive and informative presenting the dishes. Restaurant was also happy to change one tasting menu dish to accommodate a diners preference. All in all a great experience behind an unassuming facade.

Outstanding food, best curry I've had so far! Service spot on, presentation of food was brilliant too. The park and ride bus (Newmarket) stops literally outside the restaurant too so after a busy day of walking around Cambridge you can just hop on and get back!

Although a bit pricier than the average Indian restaurant, this one is in a different league. Outstanding, creative cuisine, the best Indian I have eaten in years. The papadi chaat starter is not to be missed, a wonder of tastes and textures, slightly sweet and contrasting beautifully with a curry. The restaurant interior is a bit austere and functional, but I was concentrating on the food anyway.
