Welsh lamb chops with raw papaya, star anise and malt vinegar
Malabar Prawn Curry
Prawns sauteed in onions, ginger, fenugreek and coconut milk
The tasting menu was incredible. So tasty, great value for money even without the eat out to help out discount they are continuing with. Social distanced well and everyone is super friendly.
Very good Indian food. My flatmate is south Indian and vegetarian so we went here for his birthday. Even though the rest of us are not vegetarian we ordered mostly veg and were very happy with all the options. The meat options were also delicious. Everything was incredibly flavorful and the naan was so tasty.
Food a revelation- well balanced novel ( to my tastebuds) innovative especially the starters.
Main problem was heavy smoke smell from other dishes being serves which play havoc if you have reached the dessert course !
Finely cooked Indian food in Cambridge in a Michelin started restaurant.
Food and service was excellent.
We had vegetarian food because our friends don’t eat meat and the dishes and the breads were very tasty and light.
We sat upstairs and the decor is very basic. The ambience could be better.
Not our first visit, won't be the last - the only reason not to give five stars is that we did have to chase after the first of the SEVEN courses of the tasting menu; otherwise, fab.
Really good... went for my boyfriend's birthday and couldn't have chosen a better venue. Food and service, both excellent!
Amazing food. Need to improve setting and it will be perfect
Fabulous high quality food - a super array of spices cooked delicately and with skill. Friendly service in a safe environment. Good value
Food was nice although quite expensive. Service was ok but hampered by covid 19 restrictions so hard to tell the true extent
Very very impressed with the measures in place to have a beautiful meal despite the Covid 19 restrictions. Excellent attentive service great food.
Brilliant food as usual! Front door seems to remain open permanently (COVID related I assume), but this made it fairly cold for me...
Excellent food - taster menu is highly recommended! Will definitely be back.
Authentic freshly cooked food. Lovingly presented.
Restaurant was closed on arrival.

Amazing Indian food, great quality and creative. Definitely would love to visit again when we're in Cambridge next.
RE social distancing, they were great. You sit far apart from other patrons, hand gel available in multiple places and they made the effort to keep a distance.
A pleasure - especially how well cared for we were in terms of safety after lockdown. And the food... magnificent!
Great food tay given first salsify root I never eat before in India restaurant amazing !!experience service also we happy our anniversary meal
Amazing food and service my wife was vegan options great i ordered monkfish delicious thanks navadhanya
The food was average at best, definitely not worth the premium price tag. The service was just ok. There were long waits in between meals, and the staff were generally not responsive. The ambiance was no better than any other half decent restaurant in town. I see no particular reason to return to this restaurant. Disappointing overall.
Excellent food and service
I had an enjoyable meal here - this is a small restaurant with tables close to each other. Thee food is very tasty and the staff friendly. However, there are very few milder dishes on the menu - my child still found the mild dish, hot. The service was very slow and it was almost an hour before we received any food (30 mins for drinks). Finally, I would not consider it fine-dining, based on my own experience.
The quality of the food is just fantastic. The tasting menu is very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get, and it all tastes so good. Navadhanya is a favourite of mine for special occasions, as it is guaranteed to offer exciting and delicious food.
Food and service were very good. I was disappointed that I emailed the restaurant the day before to enquire about nearby parking and although my email was acknowledged I received no response.
We had a lovely birthday Dinner there! Food was outstanging, service was great! We even got a birthday surprise sweet with a candle. Highly recommend the place!
Great food, service and atmosphere
Brilliant food and service; given private dining room upstairs which was an added bonus.
Forget what you thought ‘going out for an Indian’ is like. This is on an entirely different level. The food is like fine dining Indian. Really excellent.
Great place, food is amazing and service is very good
Great food and service as always!
Outstanding “tasting menu”
We chose tasting menu with wine pair. The presentation was par excellence. The service rendered by the staffs was great and they patiently explained all the dishes. Out of the entire course of menu, monkfish was outstanding
Great food, subtle and fine, it’s more than “an Indian restaurant “. We had the tasting menu, and loved all 7 dishes.
Navadhanya never disappoints - the lamb shank was especially superb !
The food was great but the service was not up to standard. We had to wait 15 minutes for our table although we had a booking; the place was so overcrowded and understaffed that waiters were slow to serve us everything. A waiter had an accident by our table, dropped a platter full of tomato sauce on my plaster cast leg and didn't apologise, off-handedly gave me some wet wipes to clean myself up and we didn't even get a discount or complimentary anything. Not sure I would go back
Lovely small indian place with some meals outstanding. A bit chaotic service.
The reality was woefully unlike the marketing pitch. There seemed to be confusion over our online booking on arrival (three members of staff huddled around the screen with question marks over their heads). Whole atmosphere was utilitarian - rather like a school refectory. Lighting was too bright (more like daylight). Food was nonetheless verging on excellent, but service was cold and abrupt. I have eaten Indian food around the globe, and I suggest you inject considerably more style (eg white linen tablecloths, and a warmer, more attentive service). We will not be back.
Delicious very high quality Indian food with friendly service. Reliable and consistent
Beautiful flavors from each dish, with a very attentive staff.
Exzellentes indisches Essen auf höchstem Niveau. Guter Service, volle Empfehlung meinerseits.
We went for a special dinner out and my goodness ... it really was special. Best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had in Cambridge, plus great service! Of course we ordered too much and couldn't eat it all. Next time we'll order a bit less and share it between us!
My guest was a friend from India and he was able to guide my choices from the menu and point out finer points in the cooking. He as an expert and I as a novice both thought it was a wonderful meal.
