Perfect, epic food as always. Fine dining service and food to satisfy all after a long time locked down
Fantastic food, some of teh best Indian food I've eaten, and great service.
Absolutely amazing meal in Navadhanya. My fiancé and I were visiting from London and found the restaurant through OpenTable. The food was exceptional with so many flavours and spices. The service was great and it was a great price. We keep talking about it now and saying we wish we could go back!
Really nice food, very reasonable price. I would definitely go again
Food was amazing, full of flavour. The white wine was delicious and the service was first class. Can’t wait to go back.
Had a great meal there. Staff were really helpful as friendly. A la carte menu offers a few different things which is great to try if you fancy a change from standard meals
Very nice place hidden away from the central busy streets of Edinburgh City centre
Very nice food and nice decor inside, very intimate!
Only negative point is the service was quite slow
One word" DIVINE"
The food was quite average but the service was great.
Outstanding food Fantastic Service . We were back to India for 2 hours. Very Highly Recommend.
Must: 7 course tasting Menu we were honestly blown away. Not many Indian restaurant can impress me. But here is one.a he of its class.
Navadhanya used to be a more adventurous Indian restaurant with menu choices far from the traditional curry house. Perhaps that wasn't working for them, or perhaps it is a Covid conservative response, but now it's just another Indian restaurant. Perfectly fine cooking, but the menu is mostly British Indian staples. If that's what you want, it's a good example of the type.
Good meal and good service. Could have been better.
Good menu choices - a bit different from your usual Indian menu. Would like to back to try a few other dishes. The squid rings and onion Bhaji were delicious 😀
Starters and main courses were fantastic.
Second visit here, and the food was just as tasty as we remembered! We did not have desserts as on our previous visit we were slightly disappointed with them, however I'd still highly recommend dining here. Service was timely and at a nice level of attentiveness without being overbearing.
We have become instant fans of this very understated but brilliant place to eat. We went to the opera afterwards but we both feel that our delicious meal at Navadhanya was the real highlight of the evening - no exaggeration. Go; you will not be disappointed.
Always enjoy coming here great food with a great team if you have not tried before you should !
Good service and excellent food.
The best authentic Indian meal I have had outside India. Great vibe, interesting menu, beautifully presented by informed respectful staff. A joy, we will be back!!
Very pleasant restaurant, attentive staff, fantastic food but subtle. This is not your average Indian. The menu does not contain your typical Indian dishes although there are a couple you will recognise. This food is more authentic and generally lighter. Great value and would highly recommend.
The best Indian restaurant in Scotland we have tried. Fantastic flavours and decent sized portions. Menu is short but has an option for everyone’s taste. Only downside is that we dined on a Saturday night and it didn’t have the buzz and ambience one would expect on a Saturday night in a restaurant with great food.
Came for Lunch on Saturday was not busy but food as usual was excellent. Have not been for lunch before always been in the evening. Fabulous value and service and quality of food excellent.
Authentic, good quality, well presented, tasty food with flexibility for a non meat eater in the tasting menu. Good value for money, friendly attentive staff in a modern setting. All in, a pleasant dining experience & will be back.
A wednesday lunchtime visit , so it was very quiet + very COLD !!
However the food here is fantastic, the closest to MITTHAS since it closed
Look forward to going back some night soon
Excellent food and service. Background music was a bit suss and seems more focused on couples for dinner amd not a lads curry house, that said was a very enjoyable dinner.
Great food and good service! Friendly owner and nice setting. Will visit again!
Food was very average. I m a vegetarian and their veg food was strictly ok
Christmas Eve dinner was fantastic! The restaurant went out of their way to make the evening special for all guests with holiday music, crackers for everyone, and a special menu in addition to their regular menu. Very professional and attentive staff. The food was as good as it could have been. Thank you!
Delicious. My tummy's full though.
Very good food - best paneer I've had! Attentive staff and great menu. Nice for a special occasion.
What a great find. The menu isn't very extensive but everything we ordered tasted delicious. Didn't need it to be any longer! I'm already planning my next visit :-)
Outstanding tasting meal. Service was friendly, staff work in concert so all tables get very good service. Would like to be able to return some day.
Always enjoy coming here great food with a great team
We enjoyed a lovely relaxing meal at Navadhanya last night. The food was delicious and we particularly enjoyed our mains Lamb Kolhapuri and Lamb Malabar followed by the chefs selection of puddings which we shared. We were very full after our mai a bit couldn’t resist trying the puddings out. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
Enjoyed the tasting menu, but did feel it was a bit overpriced and s bit too fussy for us.
I would love to see a bit more of a traditional curry dining experience available.
This restaurant was lovely. The decor, the ambience, the food. Very good quality meals whcihc everyone was happy with.
Would definitely recommend to others.
Booking is essential as it's not a very big place. However, it's well worth it, the food, although a very limited menu, is fantastic. I have already recommended the place to two close friends who visit Edinburgh as a place to go eat. You won't be disappointed.
Had another wonderful evening at Navadhanya great service and food
Will definitely return much better atmosphere than last location
