Overall good experience-had booked a table but had to wait a few minutes but restaurant very busy-would recommend-food of good quality
Great food, spot on service and good value.
Had a brilliant family meal and will be back
an enjoyable meal as always and excellent value for money. Food is good and spicy
Excellent food and atmosphere. Not great range of wine.
I came here for a date night with my partner. We thought the customer service was excellent. The food tasted excellent cooked in different spices and herbs which adds flavour to the food. Finally, we thought the value was very good as this meal was not expensive.
First time at nawaab brilliant service well mannered staff and the food was presented well definetley go again good healthy option also fantastic
My family and I have been going to Nawaab for over 20years. The service and food have always been excellent. We always go on Christmas day and I always recommend it to friends. We will continue going as its one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.
Very busy and rightly so, we have had lots of curries at restaurants in the area and Nawaab excels. The food is outstanding.
Table booked for 7:30 but still had to wait until 8:30 to be seated
Lovely food and well looked after. Unfortunately no fuss made for birthday boy and didn't ask if we wanted tea or coffee with our early bird menu
Very disappointed after not visiting for a while we were all looking forward to the meal.
We had a table booked for 5 as a leaving do for a family member returning to Australia .
The starters were delivered quickly and were enjoyed by all. It went down hilll from her having to wait a considerable time for our next course. The butter chicken dish actually only contained 5 pieces of chicken which disappointed the recipient. My personal dish looking amazing but upon eating came the problem. The chicken was like rubber and more than one piece which in turn put me off, i even struggled to cut the meat with a knife. We had to ask 3 times for a jug of water for the table. On clearing the table i complained which was passed on to another waiter but with no response to us. Not even sorry about that. Sadly we will not be visiting again.
Very very good Indian restaurant with good welcome and good attention. A wide range of food and draught lagers, bottled beers and wine list. Food is a little bit spicy but the well flavoured sauces usually help anything like that to go down. Parking can be a bit difficult just around but there is some on road and there are town centre car parks available.
The food was delicious, the house wine was really good and the service was exemplary. Would recommend a thali if you find it hard to decide on a main course. The seafood platter starter was very tasty
As always fabulous good. The healthy option chicken is my favourite especially as they make it Madtas hot for me. Naan bread is delicious and the good is always heat hot.
Overall restaurant was clean and tidy food was of a good standard the only down side was you seemed to be rushed to eat your food
Good food and service, would be happy to go back
Friendly greeting when you arrive, had to wait a few minutes for table but a small bar area to get a drink while you wait...plenty to choose former the menu..helpful staff to help you choose the right one... food came pretty quickly but your not rushed to eat and be on your way value for money plus they do an early bird menu 5 till 7 3 courses for £9.95 would definitely go again
I know that we had the early bird menu bird but the quality of the food was appalling. I had onion pakoras which were very doughy, all the mains had were very similar in taste, consistency and appearance and the meat was very low quality. Very disappointing won't be going again.
Had a lovely meal 5 star definitely be back. Thanks the service was exceptional and the Early Bird menu was fantastic value for money will be booking again this week.
Great service and the early bird is great value , foods always spot on
Early Bird menu was very good value, restaurant fairly quite at teatime so staff attentive, quick service. will book again
