Food wasn’t great at all, resembled cheap pub food. Didn’t have any beef as the kitchen had sent it up complete Raw.
Great for Birthday celebrations. Xx
Very nice place for lunch. Busy but not overcrowded. Food was excellent and plentiful and the staff were attentive but not fussy. it was my first visit and it won't be my last, we had a really lovely time - if I have one suggestion it would have been nice to have some more choice with dessert, maybe one or more traditional pudding. But the desserts were adequate after such a big meal. Look forward to the next time already
Lovely ambiance we were very impressed with quality of food and the selection available. We were seated next to the band which was very loud which made conversation hard at times but was fun watching the dancers.
Amazing food with fantastic service. Simply perfect worth every penny.
What a feast it was! The food was tasty and beautifully laid out. There were many choices of salads, lobster, oyster and prawns in the cold section. There was a selection of roast meats and vegetables for hot selection. Although the giant Yorkshire puddings were all a bit burnt! Lovely dessert selections too. However, there were only 2 types of cheeses with no information on display as to what they were. My companions sat on the banquettes which they said was fine. However my chair was way too soft, slouchy and low to be comfortable. Unfortunately we were sat directly behind the band stand. It was so loud that conversation with my companions was virtually impossible.
Overall food was excellent and reasonably priced, and includes a complimentary glass of Prosecco too. Definitely will visit again!
A mixed bag.
First the good - Beautiful surroundings; excellent and attentive waiting staff.
Now the not so good - very busy; no real flow to the buffet bar, so lots of elbowing into the line by some who seemed worried they might otherwise expire from starvation; not a huge variety of options, with basically fish, salads and a roast dinner; the salads were tasty but the beef on the roast dinner was beyond rare, it was literally like they'd slapped its backside and chucked it on the plate! the veg selection was poor, just cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, roasted veg (which seemed to be made up at least in part by roast potatoes?) and broccoli. The gravy was far too salty and of course, by the time I realized that fact, it was already all over my dinner :(.
We were seated in the Lutyens Grill, which turned out to be a result, because the main restaurant was very noisy. Some of the tables near the bar would have been purgatory to sit at because of the close proximity to the too-ing and fro-ing of the punters at the bar.
Bizarrely, the doors on the ladies loo cubicles do not have a vacant/engaged sign on them, so you have to try the doors individually. I was surprised how many women don't lock the door when they use the loo . . .
You get your table for 2 hours maximum. When our time was up, our waiting staff found us table at another part of the restaurant to finish our coffee/tea. The first coffee they brought up was cold, but they did provide another hotter cup when we told them.
I was very hopeful for Ned's Feast when I booked for 3 generations of our family to meet for a meal, two of whom had worked for Midland Bank and knew the building as the HQ. Sadly, it didn't live up to the hype, which is a shame. I did feel overall it was value for money, but only because of the beautiful and unusual surroundings and the waiting staff. I won't be coming back for the food as I think there are far better options in London.
Amazing, I’ve already recommended this to so many people! It seems expensive initially but it is a fantastic price when you’ve eaten there and watched the live band! Fantastic value and experience.
Plenty of food good roast beef ,although by the time you wait to be served and get back to the table it was cold! Lobster and oysters not bad ! Have had better in other west end seafood restaurants, it’s a £48 buffet , you get a 2 hour slot waiter was on our case after 1 hour 45 m asking if we want our bill , table next to us got there bill when they were going up to get a desert???been there won’t go again.
Had an amazing time at the Ned. So much food! And wonderful table service. Would recommend as a must do!
There had a great selection of meat and vegetarian food. As they were serving roast. They should have a nutrias too.
Also. I had a little oater claws and when I went to have more they ran out of them. It was very very disappointing.
Great experience - not surprised it's so popular. Will be recommending to people and will definitely be returning.
I wanted all you can eat oysters so I booked Ned's Feast. I arrived 6.45pm and oysters already ran out. I was very upset about there. Food was ok, but there was no one to clean up the table. I had to clean to table myself a several time. Don't waste your money.
if you love to eat seafood Ned's Feast should be correct place .
you can enjoy live song and tasty food .
Great for a special occasion, they do not meet diabetic requirements for dessert which was a shame but I had fruit and eventually some cream was found.
Staff are wonderful, and the atmosphere was amazing helped by the band.
My mum had a wonderful birthday treat.
Really nice place don’t get me wrong but tad over rated nothing to special.
Starters excellent lobster salmon etc
Beef to rare roast pots hard gravy tasteless Yorkshire puddings burnt and cold
To many customers in area took an age to be served for carvary - harvester has a better system far to crowded
Needs starters at different area to avid congestion.
Amazing! Completely faultless. Had a fantastic time
Fromt he moment you walk into the building it is an experience. Set in an old bank, the marbled floors and arches, high ceilings and grand decor provide an amazing backdrop to one of the best brunches I have been to. The live jazz band and buzz of happy clientele created a great atmosphere. The main event was of course the food. A fabulous selection of salads, seafood and roast, and that was just for the main. The pudding and cheese buffet finished the meal off perfectly. I was impressed I still had space for it all! We received both our complimentary prosecco and hot drink, espresso in our case. We also tried the wine...no disappointment there either! An occasion destination which everyone who enjoys the finer things should definitely not miss!
For a special occasion this was extremely disappointing. We were put in a back room away from the ambiance and the band and in the with kids! Instead of being able to hear the wonders of the jazz band we were forced to listen to baby shark from the kids I pad on the table next to us echoed by babies crying. I did not want to make a scene as it was my husbands birthday but the staff did not acknowledge this and move us, which was a shame as it effected our experience and I would not return or recommend. On a positive the food was good. Overall I would not recommend or return
Enjoyed every minute! The food, staff and atmosphere was amazing.
Totally decadent experience. Lovely food, great live music and a fab atmosphere! Don't be seated too close to the buffet table though or the jazz band!
Great atmosphere, fantastic selection of food and great live music. The only downside was a particularly condescending barman!! You can't win them all....
The food was wonderful, the service was fine. The building itself was a treat. The music was excellent BUT very loud. Difficult to have a conversation. That would worry me enough not to recommend Neds to friends but would certainly go there again myself!
The only fault we have about The Ned Feast is, you only get 2 hours at the table. I think 2 and a half hours would be much better. They start telling you when you have 45 mins left at the table which makes you rush you time there.
I've been to Neds Feast 3-4 times. Its always such a lovely atmosphere and the food is truly lovely.
The staff are always friendly and accomodating as best as they can, especially in such a busy environment.
I booked the Ned feast for my mum and sisters birthday. They absolutely loved it and we would all come back again. Amazing service and lovely food
Great food in a great atmosphere . The staff were very polite and attentive but not intrusive . The only down side was we ate too much
Food was amazing, so many options and choices. All warm and topped up, never looked low.
Service was exceptional- although the low seating was not so comfortable.
We had a lovely lunch and the food was delicious and plentiful. We understood beforehand we were limited to 2 hours which is quite understandable. However it was very busy and we spent a fair amount of time queuing to get to the food and waiting for some of the food plates to be refreshed.
Food was amazing. A live band was playing constantly. Great vibe. Great noise. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend
Fantastic Birthday Brunch
We went to the Sunday brunch with our three teenagers. The service was excellent and the food choices were absolutely delicious.
I would definitely recommend it but you need to book well in advance.
Love it and can’t wait to come back
Amazing quality of food and great atmosphere. Would recommend it for a special occasion
Seafood not as fresh as on previous occasions. Mushy prawns. Lobster and prawns had a slight bad smell. Oysters not great quality, probably out of season.
Desert table needs ice cream and choc sauce as the table contents were only dry stuff
Love the atmosphere very relaxed the swing band were excellent . Range of food out of this world with choices of salads lobster oysters roast meats
Food was delicious, service was really good, live band playing was great entertainment
Enjoyable place to have a Sunday meal. Nice bars to enjoy a drink whilst waiting for your table to be ready.
Overall a wonderful dining experience. My only criticism would be that the band was too loud and at distracting. It was hard to have a conversation.
