   The restaurant is amazing and creates a lovely cosy feel. Sadly, for us, the food didn’t quite match up to this.

   It was my first visit to the Nest and it didn’t disappoint Staff were so friendly and helpful The food was very tasty, presentation was excellent and all the dishes exhibited a high level of skill I will definitely be going back

   This was my First time at nest farmhouse & certainly won’t be my last will look forward to going again the food was excellent everyone was friendly with its beautiful views across the fields & warm inviting feel inside we had a lovely evening I would highly recommend

   Not the easiest place to find; ignore satnav directions, drive slowly and lookout for signs! It is part of a farm and does feel very barn like. Every time the door opened we were blasted by a gust of wind - not great for long hair! The noise level is high due to the lack of sound absorbing soft furnishings or curtains. The staff were friendly and efficient. The crab parfait was very tasty, feeling both local and seasonal. The roast dinners and shared apple crumble and custard were perfectly acceptable but definitely not the best. It didn't meet our expectations, given the previous great reviews, maybe we caught an off day?

   The staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful kind, considerate and patient. They were very busy in the restaurant, but everything that they did was done with good grace and humour we had hake which was outstanding . The wine was local and was delicious all in all. It is an absolute pleasure to go to restaurant where the staff and the food are wonderful.
